Bright Lights, Big City

There were a few large clouds above, but there was no rain. Good for cover, bad for trying to find your keys. Mostly sticking to the alleyways, he tried to snuff out any illegal activity. But there just wasn't much going on that night. In America, he would have already stopped two robberies and a drug deal. America might be land of the free and home of the brave, but it is also the land of the rape and the home of the homicide.

Shaking his head at the negativity, but knowing that sometimes it was true, he continued into would looked like the rich district. Lushness lined the rows of trees and bushes. There was even some that were cut in simplistic designs that even an foreigner can appreciate. He stopped, when he realized that be was more of a tourist than anything else right now. He had to focus. Huffing and puffing a bit, he wanted to switch gears and try to find some action.

Snapping his finger, he lets out and very low powered pulse. It sought out to map the area and if anything had an electrical charge, such as a cellphone or a human brain, that he would know its location. It was quick but it would work.

'What the hell was that?' Amy wondered, as she felt an odd presence. With her speed, she was able to sense some odd things that most wouldn't even notice when walking normally. That... pulse? She shook her head, thinking she was imagining things. She had finally lost her mind and let this whole thing get to her. But she wouldn't stop now. She was near the home that would be the target, but she had to start her search around to see who may be planning.

She quickly ran around trying to scan for other beings near by. Pets yes, and wild animals. Check. But... wait. There was another person here. She slowed down as she hid behind a solid entity to try to get a better look at this person. Her black outfit made it easy for her to hide: the main standout point was her hair. It may have been a bad choice, but she was stuck with it. Unless she went with a crazy dark blue. She could pull that off, and seeing as it was a crazy color, maybe people would still recognize her. Oh, she might get some teasing from her regulars: "Oh, you really are a girl." "Changing huh?" - Gag. She could already hear it.

Not like the opinions of low lifes actually mean anything, but it was one less thing she could deal with.

Wait... what was - right. Snooping. Now was this person friend or foe?

He continued to walk the line between cautious and casual in his movements. For the most part, there was just people and their cells in the immediate area. Except for one anomaly. Every brain he detected was unique, but this was an even weirder case. The brain seemed human but something...extra was added. Was she? She was. She is a super. That certainly would make things interesting, tonight. Now just to track her, because surely she wasn't out at this time for some ice scream and a beer.

Raising a hand again another snap his fingers sends out another pulse. Much to his surprise, that signature had moved a great distance in very little time. And his head snapped right to where the signature was coming from. Squinting, he was trying to make out what the person was doing. Then he spotted it. "Uh....you know how easy it is for people to see red? It's the same reason the English were able to be spotted back in 1776."

Amy froze. Someone was talking to her. And it was in English? What the hell, the odds of meeting two English speaking in one day was - okay. It might not be completely odd, but usually they try some sort of Asian language. Should she mess with this guy? She couldn't fully make him out yet, but she could easily get into a lighting where she could see him. "I am so sorry sir," she said in Japanese. "But do you mind saying that again?"

She used this moment to get closer and try to move around. And the sight caught her off guard: He was like her. He was dressed up to hide his identity. Even though her hair was 'very red', people don't normally know she was there as easily as he did. And she had moved away from him and he still noticed her. What kind of being was he? What does he do? Oh please don't be a bad guy... she had enough of people with abilities trying to go to the 'dark side'.

Balls. The language barrier. Her voice sounded nice enough, nonthreatening almost perhaps friendly. This would be a struggle, for the time being, but for now he had to think of a solution as opposed to just standing here with a significantly red headed....ninja? Supa-Ninja! Swords clings and classy ninja-like music played in his head for a brief moment. Shaking himself out of the vision, the young man just raised his hand to her. "No." It was all he could do. It was the only word he thought could have been the same for both languages.

Next, he pulled out a notepad and pencil. Scribbles could be heard from a few feet away. She had not attacked him in all this time or even became hostile either. So this gal earned enough for him not to be defensive, for now. The page rips off quickly and the notepad and pencil are put away. He puts the piece of paper on the grass before walking across the street.

On it is the following:
Note

With that, he chooses to walk away. Partly, because she might not know english or that there isn't many fluent English speakers in the area and the fact that there were a few other suspicious blips in his radar.
