Subaru Toyatomi

"DOMO! INMATES!"

A loud booming voice calls out from up above, as the Office suited man jumps from an open window on the second story. Landing on his legs and kneeling briefly a swirl of dust gathers from the point of impact as the older man stands to his feet. Having talked it over with the boss and not fearing any of the kids, Subaru attacks the problem head on like a Drill instructor, it was fine if they hated him so long as they respected him and truly reformed their lives. Then he could shake their hands as equals and offer them a business card, if they were to wish him dead for that then they never had any intention of redemption and would find he was surprisingly difficult to kill.

"One of your fellow inmates is very late, but we have a Schedule to keep. You may not like me, but that is not the point. I for right now am the Pro Hero Office Man. Today we will be testing your physical aptitude." And breaking you in to be less troublesome to the other instructors, he thinks but does not add aloud.

"I should caution you into disobeying my commands. I am your Salary Boss. You will also be doing these tasks without aid of your quirks. Failure to comply will result in disciplinary actions. You will complete this objective or you will go on till you physically are incapable."

Dropping down on his feet and hands the shaded glasses wearing man stares at the others. "First we shall do push ups, sit ups, jumping jacks and Pull ups. If you cannot do an exercise then you will be made to do an alternative or to hold your body in place."

"Lastly you will do an Eight kilometer run. I will follow ten laps in at speed. If I pass, you and your cell mate will need to run another lap up to a maximum of Five.. for today.

So far you all have Twenty laps. If any of you do not finish the relay, then all of you shall be placed on standard Rations in place of prepared food for a week. Water and rest will be waiting on the twentieth lap before your hand off and fitting.

Survival of the fittest is a fools notion. Society is collective rule and agreement. Now drop and give me One Hundred. If you can't hold your body up with your arms. Assume the position and a One, two, three, four..."

Of course he didn't add in that if they rebelled they would be shocked, nor that if anyone actually did fall out from dehydration that he would take them aside and give them water to drink and shade to rest in, nor did he tell them the point of it all. It wasn't about finishing the race, it was about seeing the personalities that he had been given, the smart and malleable ones would aid a comrade or cellmate to the finish line. The corrupt and stupid ones would try and find a way out or take their frustrations out on the weaker party.

And there were another couple of details that he didn't care to explain.. It was a more important that they had to see for themselves, how long that would take would be a good question.

Misako Katagawa

Watching as the Office Suited man jumps from a second floor window in place of making a sensible entry onto the field, he is quick to give the basic "why" to the "where". It was a basic physical fitness hazing but the run..that...that sounded troublesome.. Very badly so..

Giving up half way through the pushups, Misako holds her body up with her arms for the remaining count and didn't even attempt more than holding herself up on the pull ups. Sit ups and jumping jacks came naturally and the count on the later was mercifully low. Minus the occasional berating the man wasn't too bad.. till she realized what the actual running distance was and the fact he would chase them down at the end.. Five Extra laps didn't sound like much but it was 1/4th of the total distance, anyone that hit that distance would not likely finish and then they would be on everyone's shit list...

Laughing nervously at that as sweat from the previous warmup was starting to pour, this would likely be difficult for a number of them, herself included. It was unlikely they would be given much time to prepare and her suspicions were all but confirmed when he began a countdown, looking at the others on the line she sighs slightly before smiling in her normal fashion.

"If any of you have bright ideas now is the time..and no I'm not helping escape if that's the idea."

Reese wasn't sure what she had expected from her roommate, but what she got was certainly... Different, in a place like this she would have expected to meet a hardened criminal, a sociopath, or at the very least someone who didn't seem to be on the verge of a complete breakdown... It was actually kinda pathetic, enough that even she was feeling sorry...
Using the logic that she would most likely need to be on good terms with their roommate if she intended to do anything against the rules or at least sleep well, she climbed up onto the top bunk with Yuuto.
"Hey... You okay there? You seem kinda... I dunno, freaked out? Well, I'm not great with that kinda stuff but feel free to have a freak out or vent or whatever..."
She told him before climbing back down.

Soon after that they were taken outside by guards, Reese spending the time trying and failing to see any weaknesses, as long as her wrist bands were active any attempt at escape would end badly...
Her appraisal of the area left her completely oblivious to Office Man's appearance, so when he did land and announce his presence she let out a low shut of surprise, voice audibly cracking, she was not fond of surprises.
"Damned pro heroes and their stupid dramatic entrances..."
She muttered, trying to get over her own fright.

The thought of extensive physical activity was not a fond one, Reese was not in great shape, she wasn't overweight in the slightest, quite the opposite in fact, but she had next to no endurance or muscle mass, and since Yuuto didn't look too tough either she was pretty certain they would end up on rations, not that she minded, Reese could and would eat just about anything as long as it was somewhat edible, anything had to be better than her own attempts at cooking.
She managed to make it through most of the pushups before stopping, they were a familiar exercise, and she refused to give up immediately, a bit of her parent's pride shining through.
Reese DID have an idea and was glad to share it with the girl who asked for any.
"Well... He said we couldn't use quirks... But that's it, this doesn't help right this moment but when we are running... Why don't we agree to try and trip Office man? Move in a group and knock his feet out from under him whenever he tries to pass..."

Sumire watched one of the teachers, Office Man was his name, make a grand entrance to the courtyard. Kind of amazing, really. It was only a reminder of just how superior this one man was to the rest of them.

He began his explanation of physical tests of endurance and strength, making Sumire feel a little sick. The "physical activities" part didn't bother her, it was the extent of it that made her feel ill. Ugh, she wasn't a damn hero and this wasn't a hero academy...

But she deserved this punishment.

She dropped with her classmates to do the pushups. Sumire felt her muscles start to ache around 40, but she kept pushing through. Sumire didn't want to let the others down.

She heard the girls making plan and felt she had to mention, "Y-You saw what he's capable of... He's too skilled to let a bunch of teenagers trip him... Urgh... W-We can try... Try cruise controlling the track... Reserve stamina..."

The prospect of exercise, training, was something Takumi looked forward to. He assumed that when they were told they would get right to work, they meant with boring lecture. But of course they would have to test them physically first! How else would they know what to expect! Or maybe the staff were just trying to torture the delinquents—Nonetheless, it was something the boy was ready for.

Moved to the grounds, both the boys and girls had been assembled together and briefed by Office Man on what they would do. It was a strenuous task indeed, but a challenge Takumi yearned to overcome. He already made a habit of training his body since his quirk lacked a certain 'umph' that others carried, but by the looks of, he was the only one of the group who did that. The others weren't necessarily overweight, but looking at them all it was obvious that they more let their quirks pull their weight. Unfortunately, this posed an issue as Office Man was undoubtedly faster than all of them and even one falling behind meant the rest would be screwed.

Going through the first half of the challenge, Takumi met the physical tests of push-ups, sit-ups and pull-ups head on with little worry. Though it was a tough workout, mainly as it was done all at once without the use of reps, but Takumi mostly took it in stride, sweating but persevering. Now came the difficult part, the run.

As the rest of the team plotted, Takumi got read at the start.

"If we tripped him, he'd kick our asses or tase us..." Takumi commented, sighing at the next proposed plan. Sumire's was probably the way to go, but it also meant they would have to go it slow. At least he got a good workout in prior. "...If he follows us at the same speed as us... Then we need to go with our slowest runner... That way he won't pass us. Who's terrible at running?"

Yoshiyuki, Aichi

The appearance of Office Man, particularly because of his fantastic dramatic entrance, spread a smile across Aichi's face. It was like getting to see a pro hero in action. Unfortunately, it also made him forget briefly where he was, and the kind of position he was in. Office Man wasn't here to save him, or to put on a show of daring heroics. It was to test him and the others, and if necessary, punish them for this actions. The realization quickly forced his smile away, and tamed his enthusiasm almost instantly. The words that the pro hero spoke also unsettled him. This test of their physical ability was a bit much, wasn't it? Especially to disallow the use of their quirks. Sure, it was true that heroes needed more than their quirks, but, he wished they would go a little more one way or the other with their treatment. Were they potential heroes or youths in need of rehabilitation? One could argue both, but, he still found himself wanting them to go more one way or the other. Less confusing that way. At any rate, Aichi could only nod along to the man's instructions, and take the warnings to heart as much as possible. It seemed that one way or the other, this was going to be difficult.

Aichi wouldn't lie and say that he was one of the most physically fit people in his age group. Still, he was in good shape, no doubt thanks in part to his shenanigans with his former friends and their constant fighting and running about the city. Of course, Aichi also would have to admit that he wasn't able to really keep track of all of what the hero said. It was frankly one of his biggest weaknesses. His attention to detail needed work, and he had a rather severe issue with keeping track of the things people say. Once the workouts began, he did his best to keep up. Unfortunately, towards the end his body told him to go to hell and he failed to perform all of the exercises. The pull-ups were the worst part. At the end of it, though, he pulled through, and that last run would me manageable. That being said, the last bit of information was refreshed in his mind when the others started speaking to each other about the last part. It seemed like an impossible challenge. One way or the other, they all would likely have a significant degree of difficulty handling this. It seemed that the others were pitching ideas. One was to try and trip him, one was to try and go steady until the end, and then the first idea was shot down by another one of them.

"Yeah, uh, guys. That's Office Man. Like...THE Office Man. We can't do anything to him that he doesn't want us to do. No way are we going to be able to trip him. I'm not the smartest guy around, but, trying anything offensive against a pro is not the way to go. I say we just run and do our best. Even if we have to get stuck with nasty rations for a while, we shouldn't try and screw anyone else over for our own ends. Besides, if we do anything that pisses them off, we'll just get punished even more."

Misako Katagawa
"Err..I don't know if it's a good idea to trip him..or if we can, I mean he did just jump out of a second story window, and he surfed on a briefcase.." Listening to the other plans the one voiced by Takumi and Aichi made the most sense, though it did worry her slightly. "..I like that idea but, can we all really keep up and run that far? I mean I like to think we have a time limit but.. I sure don't want to slow down and walk it... Well not that my quirk is in the least bit useful for this. Maybe there is a quirk test later today?" While not showing it, her stomach was a mix of acid and anxiety at that point in time.

She didn't want to fail, in part because her pride wouldn't allow it and in part she didn't want to be the one that costed them food, taking up a runners start she glances side to side, picking the 4th line for herself. "Err..we can decide as we run.."

Subaru Toyatomi

Smiling as he listened in on the Conversations, it was amusing how many thought his hearing was bad just because he was old. The nerve, he didn't listen to loud music a day in his life, preferring calming string instruments or traditional sounds and music.. Either way he wasn't about to pretend otherwise, sipping from his tea mug, his smile does briefly creep up. A few of his students seemed to be decent fellows a few were criminal scum, regardless Misako seemed to have caught on with some of the situation as did Takumi.

Though that wasn't the point, in fact he didn't expect nor had any plans for them to finish all of the laps. Once the Uniforms arrived he would call it quits and send them to the showers, his job was to make sure they were worn out so that they couldn't offer more than token resistance to his other instructors for the day. Anyone almost could run the First Mile of the rip, the 2nd is where they would start to feel the burn or be worn out and on the third he would chase them. That desperation is what he wanted to see, that would be the test. Would they help their fellows or would they serve themselves? Based on that additional studies could be planned and the focal point of who needed to be broken in would be obvious.

The fact Aichi had thought to mention the food did amuse him, that would be another half truth to announce to them later. Of course later on this run would be carried out in full. It would be absurd to expect them to succeed with flying colors when a few of them were lazy bodies, or in the case of one didn't belong here at all.

Suppressing his grin he wasn't about to tell them all that, after all he would be even harsher to them in time and this run while not finished was designed to push most of them to the brink.

"Enough chatter! Runners! On your marks! Toes and hands on or behind the line! I'm Watching you!

Ready!

Go!

Move those legs, go go go!"

If they weren't too out of shape he would have anywhere from 14 to 20 minutes to sit and read his newspaper, opening his briefcase and taking out the news paper there seemed to be an assortment of other items inside, including a tea brewer. Taking this item out with a thermos of water, Office Man sit's cross legged on the ground, biding his time to give chase, until then there was a news paper that needed his attention and tea to fix.

"Maan..." Starting off at a steady trot, Misako begins her run at a jog, unsure of how well those bracelets worked, last thing she wanted was to trip over herself and a leg or two coming off.

To be perfectly honest Reese hadn't really intended her plan as any serious suggestion, rather it was intended to be a sort of ice breaker to get people to come up with something that might actually help, as well as see if anyone was dumb enough to think it was a good idea, dumb people were useful, if you knew how to use them, though it seemed among this group no one was stupid enough to take on a real hero, especially without using their quirk.
She did consider the running in a group idea for a moment, but it was clear at a glance that they all had different levels of athletic ability, so even if they could help each other it would be more obvious who was dragging down the group.

Reese got running with the others once it started, well, running was a rather strong word, she was keeping to a jog at the back of the pack, there was no doubt in her mind that she would fail spectacularly to complete this course, but some part of her wanted to at least put in an effort to get as far as possible, and that meant conserving energy as long as possible, though on that matter... She saw that office man seemed a little occupied with his newspaper... Which gave her an idea.
Taking a look at the course she decided to just cut across at speed, she would be the first to admit to preferring to cut corners like that when given the opportunity, and she was sure if she was fast enough she could cut a decent length out of each lap... Maybe even actually finish that hellish course.

Alaric Vander

Once again, Alaric found himself standing next to the whole group of kids from the beginning of the day. Nothing had really hadn't since that point though. Once shown there "temporary" room, Alaric just sat in the corner, putting his head in his knees and muttering to himself. After about a hour or so, they were all called to this area. This, track.

Alaric was a bit stunned by the entrance of Office Man as he claimed to be. To be honest, Alaric wasn't familiar or really knew any of the pro heroes over here. He knew of a couple in America but never took time to look up the ones here. He seemed, strong though. He jumped from two stories up with no problems so he should be strong.

He wanted them to do, exercising? Alaric was no athletic by any means. He was a small kid and not much muscle. The electricity that would flow through him helped a lot in his lacking of muscles. Especially once the mention of running would be involved. Alaric hung his head. He could have easily ran the distance with his power through him, however though, he was now running on empty. He was very tired and didn't want to do this at all.

After watching the others do the push ups and sit ups. Alaric was a bit amazed by some of them. One of the boys did it with ease and looked strong. Alaric struggled the whole time with it. Some of the kids were chatting about something. He couldn't quite here it though.

They took up spots on the line and Office man gave them the go ahead to run. Alaric basically was just dragging his feet as he was almost spent. He didn't have anything left in the tank and the others were pulling away. He sighed. He just wanted a charge.

SHINRA AZUSAGAWA
QUICKSILVER
With a grain of salt, she considered the request to help some teenagers who had taken the wrong path annoying. Why would it matter if she had to help them grow to become better? So many questionable thoughts about this entire ordeal ran through her mind. However, Shinra accepted her new assignment. The higher ups probably wanted her to give take a break from being a Pro Hero out in the field. It was probably in their interest, which she knew about. A change wouldn't hurt either, or so she thought.

She had been given files with extensive content, information about the students she was to help at the JRA, but first, Shinra had to bring someone in. A student who hadn't shown up. His name was Cedrik Zapata, otherwise known as Zap. Having tracked down this student, it did not take long before Quicksilver was on her way back.

Yes, the student had his reasons for being late, but the first impression was definetely not good. Not only that, these students were hanging on by a thread. They were criminals to a point. They had more to lose if they failed to prove that they deserved a second chance. With some of the other teachers, Shinra was one of those who had a hand in deciding their fate within the next two years.

Nevertheless, reading up on their Quirks, personality and history, she found them to be both odd and unfortunate. Other than making one or two wrong decisions in life, they could be considered just as odd as some of the promising students from the U.A.

As per what the schedule was for their first day, they were likely on the field with the Office Man. 'Uhh..' To think that her former sensei was going to work next to her. It was weird, awkward, and knowing how Toyatomi-san operated, she was almost dreading their meeting. In other words, she would mentally be frowning at his actions.

Right before the gates to the JRA. Shinra was standing before Zapata. She had given him the neccessary information every student was required to know. Once he was appropriately ready for the field, she brought him to the latter. "Zapata-kun. This is your second chance. You've already wasted my time. Let's hope for your sake that you don't do that again."

Her golden eyes squinted, gazing at the young teenager. "Join the others, and run until the last one remaining." Moving past him, she moved over to the Office Man.

"It has been a while... Sensei." Honestly, Shinra was confused on how to address him. Would it be better to call him Toyatomi-san, or just sensei? That very same question ran through her mind, but right now, she was more or less curious to see his reaction.

"I've brought the last student. Cedrik Zapata." Leaning against the wall next to him, the silence echoed between them for a few seconds.

'Does he even remember me?' Looking at the students, she was now, looking forward to see how they would react to what she had concocted for the forseeable future.

He'd missed the first bus that had been sent to pick him up because he'd been playing games with the guards. Zap hadn't known why they'd wanted him, but in his short time as their guest he'd already developed a hearty distaste for them. Especially the tall one with the neck tattoo he tried to keep hidden. Zap really didn't like him. So any chance to make them look incompetent was one he was going to take.

Unfortunately, they'd been searching for him because he had been signed up for this program... Zap hadn't known anything about it before they'd finally tracked him down. His attorney had explained it all to him while he'd sat in sullen silence. Great news my fine ass...

Then the hot one had come for him, and she'd been in a foul mood. Maybe he'd caused her to miss something important? He'd apologized meekly enough, and been a perfectly good little boy the whole trip. Maybe it was just that time of the month. He hoped it was. He'd far rather her be bitchy with an excuse like hormones than be just another bully. He'd already learned that some guards considered it their duty to add to the suffering of their charges. If she was like that, this would be a long two years.

The two years loomed even longer as he got the clif's notes version of the standard opening spiel while he followed her down the halls. And when he saw a running track, a fucking running track, he knew he was going to earn every bit of his early release. Zap hated running. His short legs, combined with his slightly denser-than-average body made running difficult for him. He would never be a great runner, and Zap was too competitive to be satisfied with that fact.

He watched the others run and run while his shackles were removed. Then he walked as slowly as he dared up to the track, started with a slow jog, and settled into a run that kept him just behind a good-looking female. Hey, if it was his doom to suffer, at least he was going to have a nice view.

Subaru Toyatomi

What a bunch of ill mannered little shits. They would be stomped into like if that is what it took. Watching between the flips of his pages as Reese would appear on the track well between the places she should have been vs the laps cleared, at the expense of others and for her own gain she was attempting to cheat her way out.

That shit wasn't about to stand, no way, no how, no, he would make use of this little scum.

"Ah Quicksilver.. You seem well. And your Grey nonsense do you still follow it? HAWHAWHAW!... Though ah yes, you should of had him do the warm up, I want you to sit there and watch carefully..keep in mind what you see my dear junior.. We'll see who is what."

Getting up and setting his paper down all traces of wrath were hidden. He couldn't blame all of the students, but girls like this would go on to run companies that would always collapse from all the corner cutting and he WOULD put her back onto the path. She could have at least broken into sprints on the places she actually ran, it wasn't like he didn't know how to see vectors.

"HAAAA!" With a Martial yell, Office Man jumps atop his brief case and charges..or surfs rather into the back of Reese, shoving her ahead quite mightily and far. She would stumble and fall but either way cut clear across to the 4th lap.

"Oh my, we have one great runner today! Ha, I'm pleased. She broken the record on all of you at an amazing 24 Minutes Total! And as your fastest runner she nearly lapped all of you! I am so very proud of all of you, with such comradier you'll have no problem with me chasing you a lap early, the poor girl just lapped you all, be sure to thank her warmly, and I can run fast too given her amazing times!"

With that Office Man carries out a full blown run aiming to catch up and bypass the rest, making them run as much of this hell as possible. The fact one of them would be so brazen than admitting she was weak was a black mark upon the whole class, the actions of one can harm the many.

Though there were possible ways to keep ahead of him, it's just unlikely most of the girls would make it. The males were odd money.

Misako Katagawa

Looking back and then forward, the Office Surfer came down, drop kicking one student clear across the depth of the field, causing her to roll over the finish line, well ahead of most of them and until they caught up with her, Office Man's speed in this was based on the lead runner... Meaning, he had a good 100 meters that he could run as far and as fast as he wished.

"Oh good...wh-what do we do!" Part of her was tempted to see if she could get a princess carry, but otherwise they were screwed short of outside help.

"Oh god why me..Umm uh, anyone have an idea for how half of us can reach her...get there before he can tag us all or slow him down?"

Sumire obeyed Office Man's directions and had readied herself behind the line. When he gave the go, she ran with the group keeping up easily with the others. She was on cruise control to reserve stamina, since she knew there was no way everyone was going to run together. Some of them seemed to have a "every man for themselves" mindset which was going to screw over the rest of them.

Well, she didn't exactly expect them to work as a team their first day.

But what made her blood boil was seeing one of the girls try to cheat her way through. What a selfish little bitch... At the expense of the rest of them!

They were supposed to be in this together!

Office Man surfed on one of his suitcases and drop kicked the cheater into the finish line, effectively screwing all of them over.

'Reserve your stamina. You're going to run the extra laps anyway.' She thought to herself.

However, she noticed something within the crowd, or at least, the fact that there were less heads in the group than there should be. She looked one way, then the other.

Oh! They had a new person with them. She'd have to introduce herself later, but...

Had someone fallen behind?

Sumire looked over her shoulder to double check, and sure enough, they were losing a student. The boy with the different colored eyes was falling behind the group. He also looked like he was going to collapse...

Sumire didn't have the heart to leave him or anyone behind. It wasn't in her nature... She slowed her running to catch up with the exhausted looking boy, trying to push him forward.

"C-Come on... Office Man is gonna...catch up if we don't hurry! I can't carry you...and I'd rather not drag you..." She told him in between breaths, trying to find some means to motivate him to run faster.

If the idea of Office Man drop kicking them like he did that girl wasn't motivation enough, she didn't know what would be.

Alaric Vander

Alaric was able to look over long enough to see a girl getting dropped kicked over the finish line. He chuckled a bit at this. Then, Office Man went off about something or another and then he was off. Alaric didn't really care though. He was empty. He hadn't had a charge in about two days. He wasn't used to it.

As he dragged his feet, he knew he was behind everyone. He would most likely fail them for not running. Oh well. It's not like they all wanted to work together anyways seeing as one of the girls already cheated.

Then, something was grabbing his arm, or rather, someone.

He looked up to see a pink haired girl. He remembered her from the main hall but didn't speak to her. What was she doing? She began to pull his arm and tried to get him to run more. Why was she doing this? It was no use, Alaric didn't have the energy. He hung his head down and let the girl pull him some. "I...don't have...electricity." Was all he was able to mumble. He collapsed on the ground looking up at the girl. He saw her face and managed to get out one more sentence. "I like your hair..."

Yoshiyuki, Aichi
Aichi would have to admit, he was pretty mad when he noticed the girl attempting to deceive Office Man and break his rules. She coudln't have actually expected to get away with it, could she have? There was just no way. He was a pro! Of course, the way Office Man spoke to her made him feel kinda sick. Office Man was supposed to be so morally upright, a sophisticated man of honor and principle. Since when did he use such a taunting tone? At any rate, seeing the girl get launched past the finish line from a single hit was rather disheartening. Worse yet, it altered the state of the game, and now, they would ahve to hurry across, lest they face consequences. Oh well, Aichi had been expecting to have to run a lot more from the get-go, and that was why he had been trying to preserve his energy a bit by doing a moderate jog. Thankfully, if Aichi had anything it was stamina, and this would be trying but managable. At least, that was the plan, until he realized one of his fellow boys was beginning to fail. He, obviously, like so many others had become far too reliant on his quirk. It seemed without that ability to juice up, he was just too exhausted to keep going. What a drag. When the strange, yet cute, girl from earlier spoke, asking for some kind of idea to help them get there in time, Aichi's mind blanked. How could they? Even at a full sprint, it just wasn't going to happen.

"We can't out fast a pro hero, we just can't! Use your heads, we can do this!"

Then, another curve ball. One of the girls, the lavender haired one (also cute, what's up with the number of cute incarcerated women?) had either developed a sense of heroism that she hadn't displayed thus far, or was so worried about their fate as a collective that she decided to help the weakened boy. Aichi felt a slight swelling of pride in her, glad that at least someone in this god forsaken place still had a sense of right, even if it was buried under bravado. Aichi sped up to a sprint to catch up, managing to get underneath Alaric before he could hit the ground. As quickly as he could, he threw the boy's arm over his shoulder, lifting him up in hopes that the girl would follow suit. She probably wasn't strong enough to support him the rest of the way, but, together, they could manage it with little issue.

"Come on, bro! We got you! Just keep moving and we'll make it." Aichi called out to the guy through gritted teeth, pressing onward toward that finish line that almost seemed to be getting further and further away by the moment. That was probably just the anxiety because of Office Man following up behind them. Man, it sure would suck if he got his butt whooped by one of his idols. Oh well, if that's what he got for helping, then that was what he deserved.

"You can do this! We cross that line and we'll find a way to get you juiced back up in no time. Even if we have to connect a light bulb to a potato or something." They pressed on, and it seemed like they could just barely make it, at least, if Office Man didn't decide to prove him wrong.

"Hey, are you alri-"

Sumire had felt the other start to drop, but another boy, the brown haired one, had quickly managed to catch him before he dropped. She quickly moved to support her fellow student from the other side, putting Alaric's arm around her shoulders as well. Sumire was thankful this guy stopped, because she knew if she had to carry Alaric all by herself she would have hurt herself or collapsed as well. Her pace was kept to match the other's, doing her best to try and at least get Alaric passed the finish line and not have his efforts go to waste.

She welcomed any more helping hands if it meant finishing this race faster.

She looked over to Alaric's face to give a brief inspection.

He was sweating, but not excessively...

His breathing couldn't be checked since her hands were full.

He was probably just exhausted, but she didn't want to rule out the possibility of hyperthermia.

She smiled appreciatively at Aichi. "Thank you so much for your help... I hope the academy has something for him." Sumire said before asking. "What's your name?"

He'd gotten separated from that fine ass, but there were others. Zap didn't know what the admins were thinking, allowing co-ed activities. But he supposed forced abortion mean less risk of real problems arising.

When he had to run, Zap liked to find something to think about to keep himself distracted. So he gnawed at this policy, worrying at it from every angle. A lot would depend on just how easy it would be to find privacy, he supposed.

Then someone who yelled and behaved like a drill instructor started running as well, and Zap decided to pick up the pace. He wasn't sure what was going on, but he wanted to be on the far side of the track from that man. He ran faster, pounding the track, his breathing smooth and even as his calves screamed and burned.

Up ahead was a group of students, two trying to carry a third.

Zap considered. He didn't want to make the situation more complicated than it already was. He didn't want to blow past them, either, as he was relatively fresh compared to them and he didn't want to draw attention to himself. But that yelling man was gaining on them...

He matched their pace, running behind the girl. He didn't have time to enjoy the view though, the yelling man was slowly closing the distance. Reaching out, he put a hand on the weak kid, pushing gently forward. "Come on..." He panted. "Come on... come on..."

Takumi Souta

Quickly ushered to their lines, the group hadn't settled on a plan. If they wanted to avoid punishment or struggle, the obvious choice was to stay together and move with their slowest—unfortunately, some didn't follow or believe in the plan. Takumi himself was even keeping slightly ahead of the others, not wanting to quicken Office-man's pursuit. But then, one girl decided to try to pull a fast one and skip across the field just as another instructor showed up and was promptly grinded across the field by Office-man surfing on their back and announcing that the rest of them had all been lapped.

What this meant, obviously, was that the instructor had counted that as a legitimate lap and would follow them earlier on, at the speed it took for her to finish that lap. This meant, of course, they were screwed. Takumi however was not a defeatist nor unambitious. Aside from the threat of punishment was also his sense of competition.

Slowing down, he clicked his tongue and glanced back at the group. Not only had Reese increased Office-man's speed when he would begin pursuit, but everyone was already getting tired and slowing down.

"Damn it... Come on! We need to move!" Takumi exclaimed. There were a good three who were helping the collapsed student, and he was hopeful they could get him moving. Meanwhile, in Takumi's head, he believed the best course of action was to help some of the others—by dragging them along.

Almost comedically, Takumi hoisted the nearest student, fortunately or unfortunately for her being Misako, and pulled her over his shoulder before breaking out into a run.

"That girl's already set the Pro's speed! If we don't beat it and catch up, we're screwed!" And though the delinquent knew all too well that even he was incapable of achieving the speed of someone getting surfed across the field, he was going to try damn it, and he was going to drag as many people as he could along.

Reese had only a moment's warning of her incoming doom, while she had of course expected some sort of punishment, what had come to mind was reduced rations, maybe a detention or cleaning the bathrooms... Instead what she received was a sudden pain, followed by a more consistent pain as she was surfed across the finish line... Okay THAT hurt...
Reese lay stunned where she was left for several minutes, curled up in a ball as she tried to recover, she had never been particularly tough, and physical violence was the last thing she expected from a pro hero... Well, a pro hero on the job at least, at least now she knew they didn't mind hitting the teens there after being made as example of.

Though as her vision finally cleared and she dragged herself to her feet, Reese's feelings changed, she was pissed, maybe from the pain or the embarrassment of being caught out, either way she wasn't going to stay down and started to run... For a minute anyway before falling to her knees, damn he hit hard, and honestly she hadn't had a whole lot of strength left to begin with, even with the cheating and relatively low number of laps she had completed.
She did manage to get up again and start walking, though it was more of a limp, she saw the others helping each other rather than trying to get ahead and felt her cheeks burn, after her stunt they were unlikely to help so she resigned herself to coming in last, some part of her wondering if she could survive office man kicking her a few more laps through the run...

Sakai Yuuto

Yuu looked as their new room mate spoke to them, offering an ear. They sat still, not making any move to agree or disagree about needing such a thing. They didn't exactly trust this girl either. When the guards came by to bring them out for their classes, they went quietly, not uttering a single word to any of the others. Outside, they were all given instructions- impossible instructions.

Yuuto was the last person to ask to do any sort of strength exercise. They maybe made it to a dozen push-ups before trembling arms could lift no more. Sit-ups were even worse. Yuuto's physical abilities were not strength based. The most they could do strength-wise was stop an occasional slap if they expected it. Stealing and sneaking about didn't exactly require intense strength.

However, when it came to running, the small, lithe figure of Yuuto took off in a flash. They were best suited to running, and they were very good at it. Most of their life involved running. Running from their boyfriend when he got drunk and would chase them down, running from police after a successful hit. Running was one thing they did very well indeed. Others seemed to be struggling a bit, and they kept an eye on their new room mate, as it seemed if one person fucked up, they both would.

Yuuto looked away from their fellow inmates for a moment, focusing on the track below them, before looking back at the group. And their heart sank. There went Reese, dashing across the track. Their teacher announced now that he was going to follow them because she "finished" so quickly.

Yuu both physically and mentally could not stand this place already. They especially could not stand the fact that this was not "rehabilitation", this was humiliation. Eyes narrowing ever so slightly, they slowed down a bit unconsciously, thinking for a moment. They sped back up again, realizing they were losing speed, still a bit lost in thought. They would have to continue this thought more in depth later on.

mentions Reese (@Mahou-Shoujo) and others

Three on one was overkill. As they rounded the curve again, Zap saw a smaller girl limping, clearly slower than the rest of the group. Well, the common theme seemed to be helping each other out... He did not want to be an outlier. If the yelling man passed him, at least Zap would fail while doing what everyone else were doing.

He kicked it up a gear and pulled away from the trio, heading for the limping girl.

"Come on, don't let them pass," he panted, coming up to her and grabbing her right biceps. "If you can run, you can run faster."

Suiting action to words he kicked it back up, half dragging her along. He was strong, and she was a bitty thing, so this wasn't going to be too bad. "Go, go, go, go..." he wheezed, glancing back over his shoulder. "I'm too pretty... way too pretty... don't you let that man catch me..."
