Appearance
The girl has light brown hair with streaks of golden blond kept in a braid with many different colored ribbons and string weaved in and ends just below her shoulder blades. Her skin is fairly tanned but not terribly dark. She has mixed blue(L) and green(R) eyes. Recently she's been complaining the eyesight in her right eye but so far hasn't done anything about it. Her clothes in comparison to the rest of her are rather plain typically consisting of a white t-shirt, black trousers made of a light material(often tucked into her boots), well-worn leather boots, a brown cloak that ends just before her ankles, and a large brown sunhat with feathers tucked into the black band.

Jia is an exceedingly social character and has been compared to a noisy bird that just goes on and on without end at times, and backed up in the sense of by her odd attraction pretty ribbons, feathers, and rocks(which often get handed off to small children in the streets or those who view her performances). She is very kind though and will shut up if she notices (or is told) that the other party is uncomfortable. Very few people have been have been able to tick her off, typically only getting a chuckle at their attempt. She has a hobby of telling stories of which she comes up with as she travels. It'd also be a good idea to mention she despises those who harm without reason. She has a habit of hiding her pain, both physical and mental.

Backstory
Jia was brought up in one of the nomadic groups of the Air Nation and traveled along a well-known route. It wasn't the kindest of ways to grow up, travel was tough on the feet and food wasn't always available, but the group she was raised in was filled with some of the most kindhearted people. An older "uncle" taught her how to hunt with a bow to help bring in food when they were on the road, and her parents taught her how to use air bending when the realized she was able to. Both were hard skills to learn as the longbow required a great amount of strength , and air bending a great amount of patience of which a young child lacked. In time she did end up learning both to some degree. She was made a good shot in archery but wasn't able to create a strong gust after years of practice. She did however learned to use it in more delicate ways.

Between hunting and training, the girl practiced dancing on her own and used her air bending to make ribbons and colored paper dance around with her. At first it was just for fun and she was embarrassed to be seen but soon enough the small traveling group she considered her family coaxed her out to perform for them and she slowly grew out of the embarrassment. Later she was even found by a traveling performance group at around age fifteen, who offered her to join. Interested in seeing the world, she took them up on the offer.

Traveling with them was fun even with all the hard work and practice that came with performing in front of large crowds and nobles. Unlike with her family there was always enough food, though that didn't persuade Jia to stop from hunting to bring home fresh meat once she got sick of smoked goods. It was with them that she picked up her interest of storytelling and singing as she listened to the bards. Also while traveling with them that she received her traveling companion, a kitten that was gifted to her by one of her fellow performers. The group fell apart with the leader's death about a year ago and Jia had been traveling alone doing street and sometimes private performances on request along with some regular jobs when she couldn't get the money.

Equipment
In terms of anything that can be considered remotely dangerous she owns a longbow and a dozen arrows, an iron knife for skinning animals, and a walking stick.

Otherwise, she has a backpack that holds a pouch with her money, a fur blanket, various other pouches containing random things like ribbons and stones, some dried meats and fruits, a leather bound notebook, a pen and spare clothes.
And her cat (Resembles a savannah cat)


Skills
-The girl's skill at archery is good but due to her declining eyesight, her aim isn't always perfect. It also means she has OK upper body strength.
-Her air bending is extremely weak, only being able to pick up small animals at best, but well controlled.
-Jia's main focus is not her skill I fighting but in her love for dancing which gives her fairly good stamina and flexibility/agility​

I honestly just don't know how to start. Lol

Edit: I guess I'll just start simple and see if anyone decides to visit the island or reason for her to leave can be worked out or something. Or maybe give others reason to go there.

Well I say getting to one of the lands would be a good start. People are getting stuff set up.
Maybe some tidbits on her life there.
These are just recommendations though, whatever you do should be alright long as it's not a monologue in space or something.

We'll be moving to night time by monday in the west (Shangtan), morning in east (Omashu) and the festival at the North. Until then, I'll wait for everyone to just keep going :)
