All this free-running through wilderness talk makes me worry a bit; I hope they try not to glean off other franchises like Skyrim. I don't want to fight wolves/bears/pissed off walruses every 5 steps. I am hopeful though!

I won't mind hunting animals and such. It could make it more interesting.
 
There's a difference between hunting animals and having a twenty wolves nip your ankles every time you wanna head to the bakery down the street.
 
Ah true. I think maybe animals could be scarce and you only encounter them by pure luck or if you are actively tracking them. Eagle Vision could be used to follow animal trails. Would be interesting.
 
That would be incredibly awesome for certain things. Imagine hunting pelts for trading to fund your little assassin organization...
 
That would be very cool. You could also track patrols of british soldiers and ambush them.
