As far as Perona was concerned, their entire plan was going by smoothly and quickly without a hitch. She found that her time in temporary stasis had done little to dull her senses or abilities. As she followed Loriel, who had taken the lead and a gun, they made their way down a series of corridors until Loriel stopped at an intersection, entering a room with the I.D. card that he'd swiped earlier. He had to have spotted something, obviously there were quite a few men on this ship, because the next thing Perona knew, there was a loud

obviously, there was another soldier in their way. However, this time with a gun involved, they'd be gathering all the attention of the remaining guards. "Guard the entrance for a second!" Loriel's voice called, Perona already standing in the doorway, her newly acquired knife at the ready, along with the cord she carried. While waiting for the first signs of guards to come rushing down the corridor, Perona attached the knife and cord, tying one end around the hilt of the knife securely. Melee weapon becomes long-ranged, just until they could get their old weapons back. There wasn't much interference with whatever Loriel was trying to do, and Perona was grateful for that, as the lights went out for a moment, and the lighting for the reserve lights left much to be imagined in terms of visibility. This was followed by the sound of a loud crunch from behind her. This was followed by the sound of a loud crash, and the fizzing of wiring, and other such noise.
Loriel was back at the door in no time at all, "Alright, step three. We have one minute." Perona followed Loriel closely as they trekked across the long hallway. "That's it. It's shut down, so we'll need to get through the access hatch and climb up to get to the weapon cache." Towards an elevator and access hatch that would take them to their weapons. And Perona could finally ditch the makeshift weapon and take back her old- The sound of a boot shifting its weight immediately caught her attention, mostly because it was so close, and so quiet, like it was waiting. "Hold on!" she hissed, body already weaving around Loriel and low to the ground, the click of the gun readying was met with Perona thrusting the long knife into their would-be perpetrator's arm. The guard pulled the gun up in pain, and the shot fired slightly over Loriel's head, probably singeing some hair. Perona didn't give much quarter after the crisis was averted, rushing forward with the remainder of the cord and wrapping it around the man's neck. With his arm attached to the knife, he could do little to stop the attack. A successful twist and snap executed by Perona left the guard dangling in her grip, until she released him form her grip and knife. But there were quite a few voices in the distance who were attracted by the gunfire.
"Get to the elevator, then. I've got your back." Perona took the knife and standard pistol from the deceased guard, as well as the tactical sling to hold it in. This time asking that Loriel follow behind her and instruct her on where they need to go to get their stuff back. The shapes in the distance were two or three. Perona remembered that there weren't that many people on this vessel to begin with. When they started firing, Perona wasn't sure whether to laugh or not as they took cover from the fire. "Oh goodness..." she murmured, peering around a corner as she fired two or three shot at the closest person. "What would you have me do to get out of this situation, Loriel? I could use your input."
