Adam smiled with glee as he watched Niro transform before his eyes. He was actually hoping that the demon could be more patient and let the audience watch this magnificent transformation, but this is fine as it is. Adam gave the man a good look from head to toe, drinking in his appearance like a man prowling for a woman in the back of an alley. "I like to dance with Death, my dear," he grinned at Niro, his pink eyes twinkling with sincere admiration. "But you're right! We must go!"
And off they went towards the back of the tent. "Ladies and Gentlemen! Boys and girls! Welcome to the Twisted Carnival!" The lights darkened, and the crowd hushed. Then a single spotlight rained from above and towards the Ringmaster and Niro, and Adam quickly gave a flamboyant bow. "I'm so glad to see so many faces tonight!" Adam greeted the audience delightfully, turning his head around once in a while to make sure he made eye contact with most of the crowd that surrounded the huge, dusty circle. He looked at Spark's eyes, then threw a wink and a knowing smile at her. "Tonight is a special night - for I bring my beloved pet; Niro the 6th Demon from Hell! Say hello, boy!"
Sparkles and mist surrounded the tent, and Adam did something surprising - he let go of the leash. The rope shrank to the base of the collar until it was gone, granting Niro freedom.. or at least that's what it looked like. Hopefully, Niro remembered what the collar could do. Remember, no funny ideas. Adam stuck his tongue playfully at the demon-man before grabbing unto a trapeze which was lowered gracefully for him. With a small yank, the Ringmaster was pulled up towards the heavens and out of sight.
"So how about a performance to whet your appetite, my friends?" Adam's child-like voice rang from above, and about a dozen carnies came charging at Niro from all sides, snarling and leaving drool behind each step.

Riley tilted his head, completely unfazed by the insults that Wolf pathetically threw at him. To him, Wolf was just another kid that was looking for the wrong kind of attention. Not to mention lapdogs only sit tight and look pretty. No, lapdogs didn't have to do any work at all. Riley was more of those doberman dogs that guard their master. Dobermans are certainly not lap-pets.
"Well, I saw that coming anyway. Still a pity though," Riley yawned before he clapping his hands together twice. The same two mimes came back in and grabbed Wolf once more. "It would be a lot easier if you just accepted gracefully. Boys, take him to where we keep the booger Niro."
And so the guards did just that. They dragged Wolf without giving him another chance to spit at the reptile-man, bringing him to the tent where they kept new family members who refused to comply. Upon entering, there were a couple of carnies left who were huddled at the corner, watching Wolf with their beady little eyes. The whole tent hung with a dense magic that prevented anyone from using their powers at all, robbing them of their abilities until they stepped out. With one swoop, they threw Wolf into a cage that was splintered with spikes and rusted barbed wire, then locked the cage quickly. They left as soon as they came, leaving the boy with the carnies who padded over curiously. One of them snarled, then rattled at Wolf's cage with a roar.
