AHmui & TheWhoniverse's One on One Steampunk roleplay
Lee Pushed through crowds of people, glancing at his pocketwatch and searching for his target.
Elle knew she had a target painted on her back, and tried to stay out of sight
The boy looked over his shoulder, spotting what looked like the woman he was after, but he was too unsure to go after her.
She walked down an alley way, knowing someone was following. She wasn't very inconspicuous. Most women wore extravagant dresses where she wore pants, shirts, etc
It was obvious now, that the woman he had spotted was his target. He sighed, and followed down the alley aware of the fact she knew he was following. He agreed that it was stupid following her into a dead end. He honestly didn't care about killing her, right now it was only a waste of time.
Elle ran down the alley way, jumping onto some crates and up a pipe
Lee rolled his eyes and ran after her, following in her footsteps up the crates and up the same pipe. He was surprised at her abnormal strength and ability to climb things, almost equivalent to his it seemed.
She glanced down and saw him, before kicking him in the face with her boot
The assassin grimaced and brought his hand to his face. He shook off the pain and grabbed her leg, pulling her down with all the strenght he could put into one arm.
She was now only holding onto the pipe with one hand and was slipping. Then, she fell, upside down since he was holding her up
Unfortunately, the girl fell on top of Lee, taking him with her. He landed on the wet ground below, hitting his head on the stone and disorienting himself for a moment. He felt a weight on his chest, assuming it was his agile adversary.
She groaned and got up, drawing her sword and pointing it at him
He stood and put his hands up, level with his head. He'd dropped his own rapier on the fall and it lay against the stone wall of the alley/
"Name, occupation and rank. NOW!" She ordered, picking up his rapier
Lee refused to talk, not yet convinced that she would harm him in any way. She didn't look like the type that would, they were playing a game of dominance.
She cut his cheek with her rapier. "Don't think I won't hesitate to kill you. Didn't your mother tell you not to judge a book by it's cover?"
Lee felt a small dollop of blood form where she had cut him. In one swift motion, he took the end of his rapier with one hand and farther up the blade with another, yanking it from her hands and half-swording. He was slightly taller than her and no longer felt naked, now that he'd had his sword pointing towards her. "Threats, promises, and good intentions don't amount to actions."
She slashed his shirt, ripping it open
Lee wore a subtle smile, "My desire to kill you isn't as great as you think, my dear." He holstered his sword to hopefully intimitade her less. "Who wants you dead if I may ask? The past must be paid for."
