Does the "Strike Ship Obsession" trait halve the limit for just the "capitals" and "super capitals" or those two and the light cruisers?

Also, what does it mean for the AEGIS Point Defender with "1 Hardpoint Per Facing"?

Strike Ship Obsession halves the limit for all Capitals. All Cruisers, Carriers, Battleships and Dreadnoughts. In essence the new limits are...

Fast Carrier:
Battleship:
Heavy Battleship:
Max 1 "Super- Capitals"
Dreadnought:
Supercarrier:
As for that part of the AEGIS Point Defender, ignore that part, it's a hangover from a prior much more complicated ship design rules :p
 
As far as their training goes, if I were to put my bombers at basic training would that be double the final cost (post-hardpoint spending) of the bomber or double the base cost of the bomber?

A Bomber Wing at basic training would be 11 Million Credits. 10 Million for the Bomber Wing, 1 Million for Basic Training costs.

Since you mention doubling, I take it you're taking Hangar Queens.

So in this case the Bomber Squadron would be 22 million.

Hangar Queen is applied after training.
 
I'm not using Hangar Queens, so no need to worry about that.

I think my confusion comes from the two links you have for military creation. The one at the end of the Nation Creation doc is different from the direct link provided in the OP. Given what you've been saying, is it safe to assume that the doc link is obsolete and that the OP link is correct?
