I don't get the point of the video but....that's irrelevant to the challenge.)

The award winning actress lived in relative solitude, by her own preference. Allowing people to become too familiar would lead to questions that she preferred not to answer. During the shoot of that last film, it had become common knowledge that she only drank milk and that preferred it to be fresh. She couldn't allow people to get too close, she'd been warned but it was so difficult. Some of them were so warm and cuddly.

She saw an article about herself in the paper and ignored it, but below it was another article about the coming exhibit of the crown jewels. Now THAT caught her eye and she read it thoroughly. This would be one of those times that her celebrity would come in handy, rather than be a detriment. Grabbing up her cell phone she made a few calls and without much effort managed to obtain a personal invitation to the private viewing that night.

She dressed in a daring gown of flowing silk that had a plunging neckline and slit high up her thigh. The more distracted people were the less observant they were. She found it was very easy to distract humans, very east. She didn't mind flashing skin to attain her target. She arrived in a rented limousine and the chauffeur helped her exit the vehicle as flashes immediately hailed her arrival. She waved and smiled as she made her way into the building, even signing a few autographs as she did so.

No one would guess that this was her best and most convincing character, that of a normal human. She was so good at it that no one had ever uncovered her secret, and she intended to keep it that way. Mingling among the other celebrities and political figures was a chore, but she smiled and charmed the room with ease. She excused herself from the latest circle and made her way discretely to the powder room. once there she locked the stall and slipped out of her gown and transformed into her true self, a black cat.

She was not a normal cat like those found here but one that was able to stand erect and that was the same size as her human self. She climbed up to the top of the stall and opened the window. She crawled out the small window and up the outside of the building. She opened an exterior vent and left it open before returning the way she had come and returning to her human form and dressing once again in the elegant attire she'd arrived in. The rest of the evening was spent smiling at ridiculously self-important people and making small talk with others that she had an equal disdain for but whom she could not avoid without drawing attention to herself in ways she was not willing to do. Finally the evening ended and the limousine returned to retrieve her.

Once home she slipped out of the gown and transformed once more. It was a moonless night, which was to her advantage as she ran back to the rented hall and climbed up the exterior wall to the open vent. Slinking through the air vents, occasionally having to cross wire a fan she made her way to the room where the jewels were showcased. Looking down from above she could see all the lasers, and she had to laugh at the feeble attempt to prevent her from taking what she wanted. She listened for the guard but heard nothing so she dropped from the ceiling vent to the floor with a very soft sound of impact.

The platform that actually held the jewels was not part of the laser grid, which was odd to her but she shrugged and used a claw cut the glass. Just a small circle was all she needed to get her hand in and take the shiny baubles for her own. Unfortunately the second she lifted the jewels from the beds they were laying on, alarms blared all over the building. Taking the few she had she ran to the wall and began climbing up a large tapestry to the ornate coping that ran around the room near the ceiling. She pressed herself down as flat as possible and waited.

The guards came in and saw the cut glass and that two necklaces were missing. Drawing their guns, one began to search the room while the other notified the police. The cut was examined and baffled the forensic team. It had not been cut by a diamond or laser and the tiny bits they were able to recover from it were not anything any of them had ever seen. They did notice the open vent in the ceiling and brought in a ladder to get up there to have a look, but there were no fingerprints or any other evidence of anyone being in the vent. A bit of hair from an animal of some kind, likely from someone's coat was all that was found.

Meanwhile she had moved out of that room along the cove detailing and out through another vent. She sat at home admiring her baubles and how they sparkled so beautifully as she drank her milk. She knew humans called people who stole precious items a cat thief, but she was the only one who really was a cat.
