Wondrous to meet you, and a hearty thank you for visiting this humble thread. I'm Adelphi. While not new to role playing, it is my first time on this site in particular. I would say I'm intermediate to advanced in my roleplaying....category....rating...not sure of the word per-say. I match what ever my partner writes, word count and everything.
As the tags may suggest, I prefer primarily playing female characters, specifically female main characters, but I will happily play whatever gender in regards to side characters. I'm opened to pretty much every genre, though I fantasy, supernatural, and historical themes within roleplays hold a special place in my heart (not all together, but just in and of themselves).
Before I move on to the more fun things like plots and pairings, I should note that one of my favorite things about roleplaying is building a world/plot with the person I'm roleplaying with. So if any of these plots or pairings interest you but you wish to make some tweaks here or there, or even if you just think we would be a good roleplaying duo, please don't hesitate to PM me/comment below!

YC and MC are heirs presumptive of their respective kingdoms. Promised at birth to one another, they have made it very clear that while their guardians believe this is a flawless plan to ensure peace between the two feuding kingdoms, YC and MC have done little to hide their disdain from one another. Enemies since childhood, their resentment shows no signs of slowing even on the day the two kingdom's come together upon neutral ground to officially announce the engagement between them. However, during a ball hosted to commemorate the occasion, a group of masked attackers descend upon the crowd and kidnap the young couple. Bound by the wrist to one another, the two must work together if they have any chance of making it back to their homelands alive.
I got a premise of this idea from a manga I was reading recently. While most in the human world are oblivious to the vampiric world the thrives just out of their reach, MC has been unwillingly entangled in its web since her birth. Though possessing abnormal strength, beauty, and intelligence, vampires are not the immortal beings history calls us to believe. Living just beyond the span of a human's life, and unable to produce within their own vampiric clans, vampires have long since relied on humans, male and female alike to continue their lineage. However, while technically half human half vampire, these offspring inherit either or, never both. With 1 in 7 children produced from this union resulting in a human child, MC just so happened to be one of the "broken" few, as her vampiric mother so lovingly called it, while her younger brother took more to their vampiric side.
MC is a hard working secretary/personal assistant (depending on what direction my partner wishes to take the story), eager to keep at least a portion of her life normal. However, not long after beign assigned to one of the high ranking officials, YC , despite the fact he is not much older than she, MC discovers that he too is a part of the vampiric world. Though initially unwilling of having a secretary, YC decides that having an individual who has her own connections to the vampiric world, would make for an interesting time.

After MC's father died, life has been rough for her and her younger siblings. With an ailing mother running a small rest stop for weary travelers in their village, much of the duties have fallen upon MC. However, when a neighboring country invades their homeland, the King asks that each family send a man or, if wealthy, a group of soldiers. A slimy local official, scorned by her continued rejections towards marrying him, puts forth her younger brother's name as one who would serve the king's(or emperor's army). Not wishing to lose any more of her family members, MC dresses in her father's old clothes and sets off to the army under her brother's name.
From here, this could potentially go two directions. One option, is full on Mulan, with YC taking more of the role of Shang in terms of commander/the one in charge of training the newbies so they don't die in their first battle. Or I was also thinking of a sort of long lost childhood friend/ childhood friend, has been summoned to the same division and, after some circumstances, discovers that she is not only a female but his old friend. It could also be a mix of both, where a childhood friend, once orphaned, has been adopted by a high ranking noble and, after years as a solider, is training the new recruits for their first battle.
From here, this could potentially go two directions. MC remembers YC as a kind soul with a smile to match who she used to spend the summer hours chasing along the banks of a babbling stream. It was the gentle nature of her first childhood love that MC remembered from YC. So then how is the man with the icy demeanor and battle hardened gaze the same person as her childhood love?"
My initial idea with this was that MC is reunited with YC after years of being apart. I was initial thinking yakuza or mob, or something along those lines but perhaps an assassin/ hitman within a powerful family could work to. YC could have potentially saved her from a dangerous situation that she was dragged into due to her boss's underhanded dealings in his work. This could then go one of two ways. Option 1, with the sudden move/loss of her first love MC, now reunited after thinking she would never see YC again, could try to track him down, using her boss's/ex-boss's shady contacts as a way to try to figure out how to meet up with him. It could start out as simply just wanting answers as to what happened that made him change so suddenly. From there, a rival family/clan/ what ever you so wish, could see her interacting with him and believe they could use her in order to somehow manipulate him in regards to a current feud between their two affiliations. After such an attempt, it becomes clear that it would be too dangerous for her to roam about and assigns YC to be a sort of bodyguard while the two stay under the protection of the clan/family/ etc.
Option 2, could be that after witnessing what happened, they believe it's too dangerous to let her simply roam around freely and allow her to live on the condition she works for the family/clan/etc. for the time being. With the clan/family/your hearts desire eager to get information from the rival clan/family/etc. without drawing too much suspicion. They secure her a position as an escort in one of the rival's private lounges for the rich, powerful, and famous, promising not only that she would, likely, only have to provide simple entertainment for the guests, but YC would closely supervise her.
Regardless of which option, the two become reacquainted as they work to take down the rival clan so that MC can return to her life before. But in the end, will she want to?

With this plot I was thinking a much heavier smut to plot percentage. While the plot below is based on if YC is a vampire, it could also be played in a historical or fantasy context instead.

Throughout the ages the gods were viewed as immortal beings that seemingly transcended time and space. The stories of their powers and mercy have been echoed through the ages by those lucky enough to witness it themselves. However, what the stories don't say is that their immortality is in name only. In truth, every 500 years the gods and goddesses of Olympus descend to Earth, with the sole goal of producing a child to continue on their duties after the god has passed.
As the child grows, mostly immersed in the human world with their mortal parent, they are forced to spend every summer in a camp isolated deep within a forest. Here, under the careful supervision of their councilors, they are trained in the powers and duties of the gods they will inherit upon its death, and MC and YC are no exception. For the past 2,000 years, save for a hierarchical system amongst the heirs that has seemed to develop based upon their respective God's popularity amongst the mortal masses, this system has worked with frightening efficiency.
However, one summer night, the Elder Gods, immortal beings that once mercilessly terrorized the Earth before being deposed by the current Gods and Goddesses, attack the camp, destroying the Gates to Olympus, and scattering the now young adults. MC and YC, initially two rivals within the camp are forced to work together to find a way to defeat their immortal foes.
Every 100 years there is said to be a human born with blood that no demon can resist. One sip can grant the demon a temporary spurt of near immeasurable power, capable of crushing near all who oppose them. It is said that, in an attempt to protect those that wield such blood, the individual possess the ability to see past the illusion cast by many in the demon world to keep their existence hidden from prying human eyes.
MC, one of those with the accursed blood, in a moment of desperation, has made a blood pact with YC for protection against the demons that lust for her blood. In exchange, she must help them fulfill what ever twisted wish their heart so desires.
