I am back and I am ready for some thrills, Welcome to The Sickening.
The Story and Setting
Nizhny Novgorod, Russia 1985
In 1980, a new airborne chemical was discovered by the RFBR (Russian Federation Biological Research Group) though the discovery was kept a secret to the public by the direct order of the President to avoid panic. Three years of endless research, the group have reached to a conclusion that the airborne chemical was actually an unstable gene "enhancer" named "Steinzer" , but shortly after further discover the RFBR began to take a chaotic toll. Some have argued that Steinzer was far too dangerous to keep researching as others disagreed in hopes to create a new generation. With the dispute within RFBR, the news reached the public and RFBR ended with the creation of two new groups;
CGP (Curing Grace Project) was created by one of the lead researchers from RFBR who thought Steinzer was too dangerous to keep researching. Their goal is to cure all who may have been infected, but with a small team the cure is just as unstable as the chemical. Though the Curing Grace Project falls far from their name as they are know to use unnecessary force when an stubborn infected is in the area which have caused the public to be scared if CGP and unfriendly towards even the nicest of infected. In the eyes of CPG, they are doing only what is necessary to protect the public.
SSG (Steinzer Support Group) is an underground group who have supported the chemical before RFBR disbanded but the public knows little of them. SSG has tried to manipulate Steinzer and use it to their advantage as a new generation military weapon. Unfortunately there has been little success with many casualties through testings.
Two years have passes now and the infected have multiplied and grown stronger slowly but surely. But with CGP and SSG getting out of hand, the pubic struggles to see the good from bad in the infected and the hopes in the desperate groups. Though there is still hope within the infected themselves as a handful gets there paths entangled with similar goals...
