1954 (changed cause there's already a WWII rp)
War is declared in Vietnam. Boys and men are drafted into the service, as are some 5,000 war dogs. Platoon 49 are tasked with finding the lost Platoon 16th. With the aid of their dogs, they have to make it through the front lines of war. It's dangerous, mines and shelling till dusk to dawn, and with the enemy knowing the area around them better, some of them won't make it home. But to leave Platoon 16th alone in the Jungles would be too tragic a loss. It's a story of brotherhood, strength, bravery and learning that the world is getting to be a dangerous place.
So why is this mission so important? It has the president's son in it, and it is rumoured to have fallen right into enemy hands.
Rules
-No god modding
-Your character can die in this, but you can make new characters
-You can't kill somebody else's character without permission. But they can die in shellings and gunfire
-Dogs can't talk
-Don't leave anyone out
-Please post one paragraph in third person. Which means:
'Tommy ran along the creek, guiding his dog Sue towards the first aid tent. He didn't know what was to become of him.'
Like that.
-OOC stays here!
-This rp is not all historically accurate, but it is based. Please no godzillas running around or lasers shooting from your eyes. That'd be cool though.
-The dog is your best friend
-For now we are just rping the third squad. If more than 5 join this rp, we will do the other three
