The premise of this thread is simple. Find a good remix of a song from a video game and put it up! Allow me to kick things off with a remix of the final boss theme from Mega Man Zero 3. A remix of Cannon Ball: Hard Revenge

I was seriously considering putting a topic like this up, but I've been far too busy recently to do it. Thanks Chaos!


Now, a bit of story. I am, trying to at least, become a video game composer, making video game music. It's my life's dream, and one of my favorite things about video game music is the countless amazing remixes and reenactments that people have done over the years, and it astounds me to this day. My entire mind and Ipod is filled with video game music and remixes. I'm more than happy to share any I can with Iwaku, and I intend to... after I'm done with my RP posts. x3

So, without further ado, let me present my first contribution. From an amazing remixer of video game music, Hyadain, Uesutan Show, or Western Show on Super Mario World, which is a remix of a theme in Super Mario World. Enjoy!

Hey there, Iwaku! Here I am again, with your daily feed of video game music remixes, from all over the web! Today is another piece of Hyadain, the same remixer from above me, but this remix is just too awesome not to share!

Who remembers Romancing SaGa? An old RPG that had a unique twist, you could choose 8 different characters at different starting points, all with different strengths and weaknesses. In addition to this nice premise, it's soundtrack was stellar for it's day. It's still to this day one of the most games that have had their music remixed.

Damn, I'm tired. =.= Finishing up those last few pages of O.A for Frosty so I can post is proving to be a challenge on my.... *watches butterfly...*

*snaps back* ... Attention span. o///o ANYway...

Here at 6am, I found a gem of a remix, from just as much of a gem of a game. The name is Castlevania, and the game is metal. Metal is, by far, the more popular genre of remixes for games, some of the more famous ones being Megaman and Metroid. But, of course, not only those two have great remixers working on them. Made by the Chikusho Sound Team, as a remix of Castlevania's Wicked Child, is "Wickedest Child" !!

Not so much a remix as it is the theme done with a guitar. BUT I STILL LOVE IT DAMNIT

This is a remix of the main Prime theme, from Hellbound Dochi.

This one's from Metroid Metal, well known but this song is rather new in comparison to the others. It's progressive metalish due to the nature of the song. Works well though.
