Xavier smiled back at her before she got to the kitchen. That might have been an accidental brush against his arm, but it sent a warmth through him he hadn't felt in a very long time. He tried not to think about it too much...

He wondered why she would want to tour the city at night, of all times. It was quite nice in the evening, but a first visit ought to be in the daylight. Xavier didn't question it, though. Judging by that pasty skin she had, she might have a sensitivity to light. That was respectable.

"That works great," he answered. It would give him time to clean up after working, anyway. Since he rarely took days off, they wouldn't have minded him calling in for a vacation day or something.

"If there's nothing else you need, I'll get back to my place." He gave a charming smile and extended out his arm, offering his hand to be shook. Xavier was careful not to put out his wounded, bandaged hand. Especially after that short moment earlier when she was 'sucking out the toxins'...
