Natalia kept her glare focused on the simpering flight attendant, not caring if she scared the woman. Unfortunately, she seemed to only have eyes for Damien. Before she could think to say anything snappish, Damien's hand on her leg distracted her. It was warm and gentle, not a slap of reprimand. She blinked and looked over at him, surprised by his request for pillows and blankets for her. Surprise was quickly squashed by pleasure.
Yeah that's right, bitchface. He's mine all mine. Back off or die.
She smiled and scooted a bit closer to her beloved, taking note of how the flight attendant did not seem quite as eager as before. Still, she continued to try. Natalia would admire her tenacity if she wasn't busy thinking of ways to hide a body on a crowded airplane. She accepted the bedding from Damien, barely managing to be mature enough not to stick her tongue out at the other woman as Damien denied her again. The disappointed female left and Natalia spread the blanket over Damien's lap and her own to ward off the manufactured chill spewing from the vents as the plane finally began the slow path to the runway.
"I love you," she murmured, kissing Damien's cheek and laying her head on his shoulder. Her only hope for this cursed flight was to attempt to sleep. At the moment, her stomach was churning far too much for that, but she was desperate to try. So, with that in mind, she closed her eyes and tried to stop her endless fidgeting.

"Maaaaaaax!"
Lily stirred, stretching her body out along the hotel bed as she listened to the sounds of Ruby scolding Max for getting his clothes covered in mud on the television. Sesame Street was long over, apparently. She felt good after her nap, but she did notice that there were no other sounds at first. That meant Jackson was still at work. Oh well. Maybe she should get up and shower. Her bag was somewhere around here. It shouldn't be too hard to feel out clothes and figure out what was what. Matching would be hard.. but if she went with a dress, matching wouldn't matter, right?
This was not going to be easy.
She sighed and patted around for the remote, soon finding it and pressing a few random buttons until the television clicked off. After a bit of clumsy navigating, she slid from the bed and found her bag, then made it into the bathroom. It took another five minutes to locate towels and a washcloth and figure out where the soap bar and little hotel shampoo was. Finally she managed to get it all together and she got into the shower, satisfied. Who said she couldn't handle this on her own? Being blind was a cinch!
Lily sang to herself in the shower, relaxing as she scrubbed all up. Jackson had told her to think about what she wanted for dinner. Would they eat here or elsewhere? Well, being dressed nicely wouldn't hurt. She supposed having something other than him in mind would be helpful too. That wouldn't be such a bad dinner, would it? She laughed a bit to herself, then paused as she heard something odd. Was that the door? She tilted her head and quickly rinsed off, then shut off the water.
"Jackson?" she called out curiously. No response. Huh. She carefully got out of the shower and dried off, then froze as she heard a thud. Was that next door, or in the bedroom? Not being able to look around somehow made it all the more frightening. She finished drying off and rummaged around in her bag until she found the clothes she wanted. Now dressed, she opened the bathroom door and stepped out slowly. Nothing. No sounds at all. Well there. She was obviously freaking out over nothi-
RING!
Lily shrieked like a little girl, jumping back and running into the wall. It was the phone. Damn it. She sighed and went over to it, following the ringing until her fingers closed around the receiver.
"Hello?" she asked, her voice hopeful. Maybe it was Jackson calling to say he was on his way. Instead, all she heard was a click. Apparently it was a wrong number or something and the person had been too embarrassed to say so before hanging up. She hung the phone up after two tries, then went to attempt her hair. Being alone and blind was not fun at all.
