Adam walked down through the blizzard, snow collecting against his ski mask. He had been transported to the wrong time. It took him a while to realize it, though. He did math in his head. Bern was founded in 1191... there should be a city here...
He then looked on his left wrist. There was a watch there. It was broken. He opened it up, and saw that the circuts have been fried, and it was missing a few parts. The watch was in fact, a device that could send him home in the press of a button.
The damage wasn't too extensive, but it was just enough to stop the thing from working. It could be fixed with simple soldering, and by replacing an the industrial diamond.
He swore. How was he going to solder anything where he was at?
He was starting to get cold. What was the date? He wasn't sure. His body slowly started to numb, and then he started to feel warm. Hypothermia? Perhaps. He started to get light headed, and then collapsed in the snow, before going unconscious.
