Okay, so if you read this semi slowly, starting just a few seconds after the song begins, it should be able to keep up with the scene, effectively acting as the background music to the changes in events. I hope you enjoy it!

Clare gazed into the warm depths of Brayden's eyes, looking for the strength to do what she knew she must. She loved him with all her heart and knew that he loved her just as much, but she was afraid of how he would react if he learned the truth. Still, he deserved to know.

Stepping back from his embrace, Clare never took her eyes away from Brayden's. One step slowly after the other, she gracefully strode back until there was a good distance between them. Closing her eyes for a moment, a tear fell down her cheek. She grimaced a little, still with the fear that Brayden may not love her anymore, but she had already decided that she would reveal herself to him. A white feather, perfect and pure, fell from seemingly nowhere and glided down to rest next to her feet.

Opening her eyes and looking upwards, Clare raised her arms about half-way up to her shoulder height, palms facing up, and she began to float. Ever so slowly, her body ascended into the air, a breeze causing her hair to flow and wave like a flowing river. A faint halo of light began to radiate from her body; its warm glow grew until Clare shined almost as brightly as the sun, its soothing heat falling on Brayden's face and making it light up nearly as much as her.

White feathers began to flutter around her, gracefully gliding to the will of an invisible breeze that wrapped around Clare in a sphere. The feathers were so pure of white they began to reflect the halo of light that held her. Raising her hands a little higher, the light grew even brighter when out from the glow sprang two large, feathered wings. The light bathed them so that they shown like they were made of light itself when Clare stretched her wings and the glow flowed away from her in a mist of stardust.

Floating there with the steady beat of her wings, Clare looked down at Brayden with a trace of sadness in her eyes. Brayden's eyes were wide, his mouth had dropped a little, and he had to put his arm up to shield some of the radiance that came from her true form. Slowly, delicately, Clare glided down to meet him, coming to within an arm's length. She waited there for him to respond in some way or form, bracing herself for the inevitable rejection.

Brayden smiled a little, mouth still open, and took a step closer so he could reach out and caress Clare's cheek. Closing his eyes for a moment, he just stood there, feeling the warmth radiating from her halo. When he opened his eyes again, Brayden removed his hand and held it out with his fingers stretched apart, a soothing smile on his face. Clare placed her hand in his, and they closed their fingers around each other. Clare was overjoyed that she was still loved, and she smiled brightly at Brayden, tears again coming to her eyes.

Clare floated closer to Brayden and the two embraced each other tightly. It felt wonderful to just hold him, feeling the warmth of his body and the protection of his arms. Clare did not want this feeling to end, and with a faint smile playing on her face, she knew that it never would. Looking into his eyes again, her eyes still a little watery, she stretched her wings and took to the air. Still holding their embrace, the two began to spiral up into the air, the setting sun transforming their world into a land of golds, oranges, and violets. Higher and higher they ascended into the heavens, all the while holding each other and gazing into the other's eyes.

Brayden let out a soft laugh and kissed her. So filled with emotion, feathers again began to float around them as Clair leaned further into him. Neither wanted to let go from the kiss, letting themselves be swept away by the sensations it brought. Floating in suspended animation, an angel and her love drifted away into the sunset until the light overtook them and they were in heaven.

The rain was falling on the car window as they wound down the highway. Lily sat in the back seat, surrounded by books, boxes, and holding her goldfish bowl in her lap. They were moving to a new town, and she'd tried to tell herself it wouldn't be that bad, but then, she was only five and didn't listen well, even to herself.

She watched out the window, trying to think of what chances she had to make new friends, to do new things, but none of it made her any happier. The sun peaked out from the clouds, just enough to make the rain seem strange and otherworldly as it fell. She looked up at the rainbow haloing the sun where the clouds broke and only then did she see them.

They spiraled in a lovely dance, ethereal beings with long, gossamer rainbow wings. Why, there must have been at least twenty of them! Slowly, a cloud covered the sun, eclipsing the beings from view.

"Momma, momma! Did you see that?" Lily chirped happily. "Fairies, Momma!"

"Mommy's trying to drive, dear."

Pouting, Lily sat back, still hugging the fish bowl, a bit of water sloshing out. Well, she'd just have to find those fairies again. Maybe this town wouldn't be so bad, after all.

The clock ticked away as she sat with her back against the wall. Her mind was clear for the first time in a long time as she let the music play. It was time. Taking a deep breath she walked out to the middle of the stage and began her dance. Her movements were fluid and her body moved with the music in such a way that it seemed like she and it were one and the same. The judges were watching her and if she nailed this, she'd get into the best school for dance she'd ever known. This was her moment to shine, to show them she was worthy.

Her dance started out with more of a ballet kind then she mixed in some hip hop, till finally her own style. She hadn't named it yet but it was something that left her audience captivated. The judges loved her, she could tell by the way they were left stunned. The final was coming up and she had to stick it or it was game over. A deep breath and she did it, nailing the landing and as she stood there a smile plastered on her face she couldn't help but wonder why no one was moving.

Her brother was in the audience behind the judges, he'd promised to come. He was her biggest fan and she was his. They had been inseparable during their younger years, and even now she felt like he was like a second half to her. The twin thing helped greatly with that. What caught her off guard was his lack of applause. Standing at the edge of the stage she looked out at the judges and then her brother. No one had an expression of any kind, they were all facing forward, like shop window dummies. Turning her head she saw another, someone else dancing in her place. It wasn't right, nothing was right, but then again she'd known it to be true. It was never her on that stage, she'd never been in front of the judges, never had her shot at fame.

On the night she went to try out, she was killed.
