Setting: Las Vegas - Inside the Supermarket
Time: February 2nd - 07:51 PM
With: The 'Good' Group
No matter what, the damn walker was not budging, It was still gnawing and trying to bite a piece of Claudia's arm. Though things eventually became more difficult for the undead, when Sienna decided to jump in and try to pull Claudia away. "
Don't let it bite you!!" Tristan exclaimed, as he noted that Sienna tried to kick it away. Even against one of these damned monsters, they were having such a hard time fending it off. The situation was almost baffling in his mind. The pipe was only getting more bloodier as the blood from the arm was splattering more and more from each hit he made. The group became quite wary of the situation, and Darren was finally able to jump in and save them, by smashing the crap out of the walker. The axe went right through its skull, which definetly killed it, once and for all. They were all in quite the imbalance as the walker let go of the arm, and the blood splattered all over Tristan, Sienna and Claudia's face and clothes.
Panting for a few seconds as the situation before them was handled, Tristan looked at both Claudia and Sienna. "
You both okay...?" He asked, before he noticed all the blood over his clothes and face. Using his right arm to remove the blood from his face, he smeared it down on his blazer. At the same time, he dropped his steel pipe. It had done what it could for now, and it was time he found another tool or anything that was not as dull as the broken steel pipe. Glancing over at his briefcase, it was time to let that go as well. No matter what, he knew that the world was not coming back, or atleast, not becoming what it once used to be.
He pushed himself up, and at the same time, held Claudia around the waist with his right arm, and pulled her up as well. "
You sure you're okay, Claudia? Was it able to scratch you or anything?" He repeated, though it was mostly directed at her instead of Sienna. At the same time, he glanced over to Darren, he gave him a simple nod. It was a sign of gratitude for what he did. After a few seconds, he decided to remove what he was wearing over his white shirt. Atleast the shirt wasn't as red as his blazer. Throwing both the tie and the blazer on the ground, he decided to speak up.
"
Thanks Da-" Interrupted by a gunshot, yet again, their peaceful time was short lived. "
The fuck?" He denounced, before glancing back, but at the same time, crouching, so they would keep themselves behind the car. After a few minutes the gunshots were gone. The only thing that could be heard was the growling of the many walkers around streets and outside the walmart. "
Whoever it was, or whatever it was, its not shooting at us." Tristan was able to understand what had happened. He was basically looking through one of the door windows from the car. It was someone else who was trying to fend off the walkers, who eventually missed one of his shots, which ended up grazing Darren past his ankle.
Minutes later, Tristan approached Darren, and pulled him up, throwing one of his arms around his shoulder, so he could drag Darren to and inside the walmart. They were so close, and time was of the essence. The sun was also settling down. "
Okay Darren.. We'll patch you up once we get inside the supermarket.." He finished, with a small chuckle leaving his mouth. "
Atleast we'll be able to change our clothes.. Good thing the supermarket is our destination, eh?.." He glanced at both Sienna and Claudia, hoping they would understand his little joke which held some truth.
Pulling Darren with him as they approached the walmart, most of the walkers were not noticing them, but Tristan had accounted for the possibility of them being inside as well. As one of the people in the group opened the doors leading inside the walmart, he walked in with Darren, and the rest of the group, only to whisper next. "
Alright, get bandages or anything that can help patch up the wound on Darren's ankle.. And while you're at it, get any supplies, food, tapes, anything that is important for us. Find any type of bag you can get a hold of and fill it up with supplies." As he finished , he slowly placed Darren by one of the shelves inside the supermarket.
"
Okay Darren. Keep your axe ready for anything.. We'll be back with bandages and the likes. You just wait here buddy.. Got it?" As he was speaking to Darren, he picked up anything that was long and made out of metal that could go through the door handles, as to keep anyone or anything to get inside.
Before they could split up into pairs and find supplies, he looked over the shelves, so he could get an overview of the market. He noticed a few stragglers, or rather, walkers lurking around. His voice was even lower now that the danger was looming not only outside, but also inside. "
They are inside.. Stay as quiet as possible and find supplies and meet back here.. We HAVE to get supplies. And use anything sharp to stab through their skull. That is where they're vulnerable." He stated, though cautiously.
"
Okay.. Lets go.." He said, as they all nodded and split up into pairs. Tristan was basically walking very slowly and silently, and he was quite lucky to see an empty, dull dufflebag on the floor after a couple of minutes. He grabbed it slowly and pulled the straps around his shoulder. They were currently walking past a few aisles, and grabbed tools such as batteries and one or two flashlights. It was in considerating to the night that was soon upon them. Hearing a few crackling sound in the market was quite breathtaking. "
I can see the section where the food is.." He stated, before making his way over there. "
Stop.." He abruptly whispered.
He noticed a man, who looked like a native american, walking away from the food store. "
He must be here for the same thing as us.." As the man was walking towards him, he decided to turn around. No one could be trusted, not in their dire situation. It was only then, he was able to unintentionally kick something on the floor that made some noise. And whatever it was, it atleast slid on the floor towards the man he saw. "
Fuck...!" He almost exclaimed. Seconds later he decided to look back. Sneaking his head past one of the shelves they were hiding behind. Unfortunately, for him, both him and the man were looking at one another.
Tristan slowly stood up, with his left hand, that was behind the shelve, he signaled to his partner to stay behind. As to not alert the man that he's there with someone else. As they kept eye contact with one another, both men knew that something was about to happen. Trust did not come easily, and Tristan decided to take the first step by initiating a dash. He felt that the man would anytime pop up his gun and shoot him. He ran and tackled the guy, throwing him on the floor, and sliding a few centimetres away. As he was straddled ontop of the man, he threw in a few punches.
