Skills:
Kieran is a master mage and sorcerer, as well as an adept swordsman after years of training with his closest friend. He also bears excellent leadership and political skills, along with some talent for unorthodox military tactics. He possesses a good memory, able to quote some passages and events as if they were new.
Weaknesses:
Although not unsocial, Kieran is very reserved. While his friendship with Arterion has made him more sociable, he does not bond with others easily as it was his father's top council who attempted to poison him. Likewise he can be slow to show any emotion, usually assessing things logically first.

A custom bastard sword, forged to work as a weapon and a spellcasting conduit. It comes paired with a small dagger.

An imperial seal ring, cast with runes and a red gem to affix his wax seal and serve as a mark of his office as emperor. The gem can store small amounts of magical energy.

Appearance: Kieran is a man of average height, standing roughly 5' 11". His form is fairly well-toned, in no small amount due to the practices of the Glimrel and his desire to remain adept in swordsmanship. His white hair will typically reach his jawline when uncut, while his eyes are a piercing blue and skin remains a pale shade.

Personality: Kieran is a logical man, usually putting his empire before himself. When dealing with failures, he tends to give his subordinates opportunities before doling out any severe punishments, although he does not tolerate repeated failure. For example, if an officer failed to capture an enemy, they would be tasked with finding more creative ways to capture targets. Kieran himself is a fairly reserved man, finding it somewhat difficult to make connections with others.

Brief History:
Kieran, like his father and siblings, was born as one of the Pale- humans with dark elf blood in their ancestry, lending them some dark elven traits such as hair color and magical predisposition. Originally the eldest of four- Kieran lost his father and siblings due to an assassination attempt and lost his mother to the plague years later. Otherwise, he grew up training with the Glimrel and the Imperial Army in order to prepare for his role as emperor, also receiving an education from members of the Arcanum Magnus. Perhaps his sole constant companion is his closest and childhood friend, Arteron, who he later appointed to the post of Lord High General for his battle and tactical prowess.

Glacier Defense: Dedicating herself to magic of the elements, she so far has managed to climb up a steady defense using the power of the toughest of ice. She uses it for temporary shields, armor, and blockades. They can only take so much and aren't made for withstanding too much constant damage.

H20 based High Agility: Another element that she managed to use to her advantage is water manipulation to close the distances and move quickly- that coat her body making her partially liquid for a moment. So far she can't use it for damage directly, however she can use it to speed up or increase the possible damage of another attack. She uses the H20 high mobility for escape methods, movement boosts, and sneaking around. She can still take damage and is infact weaker momentarily.

Skilled Melee Fighting: Originally she only used it for self-defense until she was old enough to move upon her passions, she is an expert in personal training and uses it to fight fist to fist- her style- ironically- is based around southern dragon style, it is made only for powerful, short ranged attacks.


Strong Swordsmanship: She doesn't like to use her sword because it doesn't belong to her, but she has it on her side just in case. She is firm on not using it on any person and that is strictly for last minute close range defense when she has no energy left for power moves.
Weaknesses

Heat Sources: Intense forms of heat counter her power abilities, rendering her unable to escape without her defense and high mobility also causing her more damage than any other element. That is another reason why she doesn't do her vigilante work in the day time because she is vulnerable to the sun. Day light also dries out her skin, resorting in her wearing as much coverage as she can.

Movement Controls: Anyone who can silence or stun her abilities can stop her in her tracks dead away seeing as she can't move or defend herself. In traps, stuns, rope,slows, and other things like that stop/hinder movement.

Long Range: If a person can cause damage from far away then they are at an advantage that Mexlin's lacks, her high mobility can close the gap but if the person who is far away has already prepared for her- they can shut her down quite quicker than her H20 Mobility can make it.

Slow Recovery: Once she does take damage, it takes a while before she can actually heal up. Even though she can take a lot of hits without suffering permanent damage due to a strong exterior, once she is hurt- it may take a long time for her to return back to her full healthy state- forced to buy healing items and potions to keep her well.

She's a risk taker, ambitious, often curious, affectionate, flirty,altruistic, observant, and somewhat solitary. She is rarely self-controlled or logical, her emotions are somewhat unstable. She is never courteous, trusting, or optimistic. Sometimes- she'll be sympathetic, loyal, and even honest. She finger taps when she is annoyed or nervous, but mostly she spaces out if it gets too much for her. She loves art, take an intense interest in the military,and wants to protect.

Brief History

Mexlin came from a family of merchants, builders, and..raiders. The route her family took was different from the rest of the Memkimp bloodline because her mother and father didn't want to continue the ugly cycle of their bloodline's traditions. They wanted a simple life and escape from their past to become good civilians however, not everything can be swept under the rug so easily.


Mexlin's mother and father were busy with the rest of the family, her being the middle child, she got the less out of the youngest and the eldest. If they weren't busy with the kids, they were busy with the jobs they wanted to keep, always trying to keep a pay grade and hard earned wage. They barely remembered her name half of the time, referring to her most of the time by 'Mex', she would be sent out all the time to take care of trade deals further out. Even though she was treated like a born free slave, she couldn't complain without being called lazy or over dramatic.
It was normal in her family to work. A lazy worker is a hungry worker, her father always said.


On one of her routes back towards her home after a successful trade deal, she was stopped by the trade dealers who saw how small she was and decided to ambush her and steal their goods and their parents'. She was eleven at the time, she tried to get it back and dragon types that age had some strength but not too much- only able to hold on for dear life as they hurt her trying to get the bag. That was when the actions had been interrupted by an Imperial Army member, who fended off against the thieves, and was able to save her. She explained how her family situation was, once she was pressed by the member. She remember his name because it was so long ago, but he started to take her on her routes when trades occurred and when he wasn't busy. Gradually,he became her best friend, he taught her all his moves to defend herself, and once she was skilled enough- he gave her, his sword.

The next day, he didn't come on her trade route. Matter of fact, the day before was the last time she saw him.. she was alone once more. When he left her, she missed him every day after that, she started to become a hero provided for others in the night 'disguised' as trade routes she was going to give what he gave her. Her parents saw her outfit one day and became heavily upset at her. They didn't want to go back to their old violent ways and they informed her that it was illegal for females enter in the direct military and that she needed to obey that, but she wasn't hearing it- if she couldn't do it legally..she'd go against the grain. The family was split on her choice and her mother stopped talking to her.

When she was old enough,she moved out and went to find her own way in the world- dedicating herself to art and her vigilante works. She gave herself the name 'Dusk Dragon'. Art was the only thing she retained from her family, sense a lot of them had their own form a creativity and hers was paintings- mostly..and later on, cryo designs.

| Brief History | Arterion’s early life was fairly standard; he served under a prestigious Knight as a Squire, where he trained in sword fighting and was taught battlefield tactics and strategy. Under this Knight, Arterion became close friends with the heir to the throne, and often invited said heir to sparring matches or duels. Regardless of whether Kieran accepted, Arterion grew fond of him, and remained loyal into his Knighthood.

Arterion soon surpassed his once-master and rose through the ranks with relative ease. His wit, clever use of hackneyed tactics, and resilience earned him much respect from his peers, and by the age of twenty-seven, Arterion had nearly a decade of experience under his belt. He assumed the role of Lord High General, and took a position within the Empire’s High Court.​

Skills:
Healing - Tola has dedicated most of her life to the study of healing magic. She is still an apprentice, and has not earned her title as Doctor, but is nonetheless an impressive student.​
Botany - As a student of the Stiildus sect, and an apprentice of healing magic, Tola has an appropriate understanding of a wide variety of plants. That being said, she can discern between poisonous, edible, and otherwise helpful herbs. It is useful in both offensive tactics, such with poison blade coatings, and defensive tactics related to healing and preservation.​
Summon - In times of peril, Tola is able to summon beasts of the wild for aid. Her beast of choice is most often a large caribou, with a full and heavy rack of antlers. Although she is capable of summoning other beasts of the wild, though the action is incredibly draining. Although still one of her skills, she is not an adept summoner by any means.​
Patience - Tola is an incredibly patient woman, and doesn't mind when a patient gets a little out of hand under her care. She puts her duty of care above all else to ensure that her magic is the best it can be. She is not easily affected by harsh words or uncomfortable situations.​
Horned - The particular mountainous region Tola's village hails from is well versed in botany, herbology, and various studies in healing and potion brews. The horned race has a notable closeness to nature.​

Weaknesses:
Vulnerable - Being that Tola is a support role, and not that of a fighter, she is somewhat vulnerable when placed near the front lines. Although not incapable of defending herself, she would not survive most combat scenarios on her own.​
No Weapon Masteries - Despite being the adoptive daughter of a blacksmith, Tola has very little understanding of any one weapon.​
Dense - Tola takes things literally, and appears very deadpan in nature. She does not take her magic as a joke, and does not think others should either. Sarcasm is something that goes over her head. She can be very literal, and her demeanor is often mistaken for being too cold or unkind.​
Trust Issues - Although not completely unsociable, Tola has a hard time warming up to complete strangers and being completely honest. Between her outwardly cold appearance and general aloof nature, most people tend to just not like Tola anyways. It takes some time before she considers someone to be a true friend and allow herself some lenience and trust between the comrade. Tola feels she always needs to be watching her back, and that she is alone.​
Stubborn - While somewhat hypocritical, Tola has no qualms helping others with their own problems, but she would never dare to ask someone for help. She is too prideful, and too used to being independent. Having grown up alone most of her life, she has become accustomed to doing things on her own, and finds great shame in not being able to do simple tasks without some kind of assistance.​

Weaponry/Gear:
A simple dagger, given to her by her father, as well as a simple unidentified gemstone necklace passed down to her when her mother died. Tola uses this to store magical energy.​

Appearance:
Tola stands taller than most other women, considering she is supposed to have human heritage. At 5'11", her slender frame is often covered by the traditional clothes she has grown up wearing in the cold mountainous region. As a part of her healing studies, Tola took it upon herself to engrave white tattoos on her hands, arms, and face to aid in the casting process - a stark contrast to her naturally ashen skin. The most obvious feature about her would be the two horns protruding from just above her ears. They're a shade lighter than her dusty black hair, and raise several inches above her head. Her eyes are golden, and usually appear bored.​

Personality:
Tola is a woman of fierce dedication and passion, but you would never know it simply by speaking to her. She has a natural deadpan expression and monotone speaking tone that gives the impression she is constantly bored. On the contrary, once riled up, her expression turns up and her true feelings shine through. However, she is still rather dense, and is far too literal. Jokes and sarcasm are difficult for Tola to understand. Beneath the surface of the mistrustful mountain girl, Tola desires little, and is merely complacent with her duties as an apprentice healer.​

Brief History:
The young woman doesn't remember much of her childhood. She knows she used to live in a small village. Her mother practiced small bouts of healing magic, and her father was often gone. He was a soldier under Emperor Uther. As the plague swept through the nation, it didn't hesitate to wipe out the small town she inhabited. Most of the village succumbed to the plague, leaving Tola and the local blacksmith, Tasond, as the only two survivors. Tola and Tasond moved nearby to what she came to know as a second home. Tola continued to practice her family's traditional method of healing magic, as well as studying new methodologies from the Arcanum Magnus. Not all seemed fond of the odd horned humans, but Tola never seemed to mind.​

Her greatest desire is to rejoin with the rest of the world in order to continue her studies, and eradicate the plague that took most of her village. She realizes it's as far fetched a dream as they come.​

Personality:
Belrick is a man of focus, commitment and sheer will. He is rather stern the majority of the time and takes his duties as serious as a clergy does so with his religious practices. In a similar fashion Belrick is almost zealous in his own way; shaping his life in order to meet the standards he's set for himself. The assassin's mind is constantly at work analyzing anyone he sees and imagines scenario's about how he'd go about gathering information on them and killing them. He was raised to be a tool and over the years his edges have only sharpened considerably.

Brief History:
Belrick was born a half-elven bastard of the noble Farrow family house within Shaodor. His elven mother died giving birth to him so it would seem he would live the life of an urchin on the streets. However, fate would deem it so his childhood would become far more hellish. His biological father Keldrick Farrow took him in instead though not with the desire to raise him as a son. Changing the child's name to Belrick Greleth instead of granting him the Farrow name was the first step. What followed was years of indoctrination, training and learning.

He was taught how to be a servant of the house and those that held the name Farrow, he was taught how to kill efficiently for the benefit of the family, he was taught alchemy. Belrick was groomed well for his role and that house continued to flourish because of it. For many years he served more than two generations of the Farrow family line as their shadow; carrying out all the dirty work with extreme efficiency. He's killed nobles of other rival families, sabotaged rival businesses and protected Farrow family members from danger. As time has gone on the formal lines between Belrick and the house he served would begin to blur. Even though the assassin was use to keeping to himself in the shadows only waiting to be called upon; sometimes when he was it was for more informal reasons like a chat or to have some tea. For the Farrow's knew there was no one among them who was more loyal than their own shadow.

Skills:
Perception — Awareness of her surroundings has vastly improved through her observation and detail orientation. She can spot the little things, even the objects and cracks another person may have a tough time finding, so long as it is not guarded by magic.


Bluff — After many years of learning how to skirt around trouble, Etienne has become proficient in telling lies. She knows how to position her words and her body language in different situations, however, if she is intimidated or uncomfortable by someone, it may be more difficult to keep a straight face.

Diplomacy — As a noblewoman, Etienne was raised to be the face of Shaodor, and in that light, it was always important to demonstrate leadership by social influence and negotiation. People who are stubborn may not be as easy to negotiate with and resolve differences.

Handle Animal: Horse — Etienne learned how to ride, train, and take care of horses from five years of age. She still holds and retains valuable knowledge to this day and has her own black stallion named Marcellus.

Weapon: Dagger — For four years, since she was twenty five, Etienne learned how to defend herself from an elven knight named Kaius who found himself infatuated with her regal elegance and sense of power. After she was attacked by a man named Caelic and Kaius saved her, he offered to teach her how to defend herself and she said yes, though it took them a while to begin after the initial encounter. Etienne has not found need for the dagger yet.

Weaknesses:
Limited Knowledge: Weapons — Although Etienne has a fairly proficient knowledge of daggers and knows how to use them properly, she severely lacks knowledge and experience in other close quarter combat weapons and all ranged combat weapons.


Lack of Magic — Given Etienne was not raised in Vraenor, many Vraenorans, especially the Emperor, would have the upperhand in controlling and harming her (magically) to a great extent, should those situations ever come to pass.

Swim — If she were to ever be left in the middle of a lake, or even more terrifying sources of water, it would be realistic to believe she would not survive thirty minutes out there, or be able to save herself when she inevitably drowns.

Lack of Upper Body Strength — While she can manage a dagger, heavy lifting and fighting against men are not usually the best calls to show off her strength. Dexterity is a given for Etienne, however, she cannot be matched against brute strength and would likely be defeated when going against someone who is not of equal body size to her or less.

Pacifist — Etienne absolutely abhors the idea of war and violence, and as such, is always willing to go above and beyond to reconcile differences in a diplomatic manner. She tries every last resource she has, even when the answer is clearly war.

Appearance:
As a noblewoman, Etienne has been raised on promoting beauty within herself and others. She cares deeply about her personal hygiene and how she appears to others, though she does not take criticism personally if someone believes they can dictate what she wears. Etienne stands at 5'7" with blue eyes and an inverted triangle body shape, which traditionally means her thighs and waist are more slender. She wears minimal jewelry and simple dresses when she can, humble and private about showing off her wealth to others. She has a dagger concealed on her upper left thigh underneath her dress at all times, just in case an unsavory situation calls for a threat to her opponent.


Personality:
Etienne is a well-read, prim and proper lady with sass and elegance. She exudes high confidence in the way she carries herself and the faithful demeanor she has. When people first meet her, they may mistake her for a fragile young noblewoman because of how kind and gentle she is. Etienne does not let others define her, however, and always keeps tabs on those she suspects may betray her, as well as continually establishing new connections so that she may have leverage whenever the time comes. She dislikes violence, however, if subtle force is needed after she's exhausted every other resource first, Etienne is not afraid to demonstrate a different side of her. Every challenge she's faced has been one step forward for her, not one step back, and she intends to bring justice to Shaodor because of the great loyalty her family has received for over one hundred years.


Brief History:
Etienne was raised greatly in the minor noble house of Farrow. Her parents had the luck, as some would call, of having a long lasting marriage of soul love. There were fights in the household, no doubt, however, they were often resolved quickly and efficiently. Kindness was demonstrated as a virtue, as was caution. Etienne learned many subjects from her private tutor, including geography, local knowledge, and the most important, her upbringing and the noble circle. She made many connections as noble, swift with words and quick with action.


A few suitors expressed interest in her, and while she allowed them to court her, she did not wish to marry any of them, for fear that a loveless marriage would trap her in a spiral of depression and self-doubt. Etienne grew more cautious and suspicious of those around her when she experienced an attack by a man named Caelic, whom her parents knew very well. Kaius, a close friend she was fond of for his honor, saved her from experiencing an even more dreadful afternoon, and offered to teach her self defense in secret.

Etienne drew on her experience as an opportunity to become more in tune with what was going on around the world and the true colors of those at court. She helped identify many traitors for the kingdom, and as such, she was offered the position of spymaster when she was twenty seven. Etienne graciously accepted. For three years, she served faithfully in hunting down assassins who may attempt to poison the royal family and those who wish death and misfortune to the immediate royal family members. She did it all, until now.

Miscellaneous:
It's important to note that Etienne was married and technically still is, however, her husband does not, and has never played a huge part in her life. This is the reason why he is not mentioned in her history. She married at twenty three, not long after she was attacked by Caelic at twenty one, which was considerably late for marriage in medieval times.

The old elven woman hardly looks a day over fifty, that being generous to her actual age of over seventeen decades of war, strife, and growing experience in her studies. She has long dark hair that she keeps braided behind her back, and equally black eyes. Ninra is not seen without her long oak cane with a hefty stone in its grip, and is usually draped in thick gray garbs.​

Very Brief History:
Ninra is old, and doesn't care to admit to the fact. She serves as the Arcanus Magnus' topmost authority on the Stiildus Sect of magic. She has devoted her life to studying the art of healing, despite most of her race being that of battle mages and other related classes. Ninra often attends to Assembly meetings when she is not attending to organizing the military medics who serve to aid the Emperor's armies. Expert Fighter: Vira'Trys has trained all her life in several martial styles (her favored being sword and shield combat). Her body has been honed into a fighting machine, and some would call her daily training regimen insane.​
Calvary: She is also trained as a mounted fighter​
Cowl of Conquest: A unique fusion of the Kendov and Glimrel schools of magic, fueled by zealous commitment, the Cowl of Conquest is the trademark of the Fell Maidens. More appropriately categorized as an aura, the Cowl is a purple cloak of dark magic that fouls the air and terrorizes enemy combatants, causing them to take flight or freeze. Only the particularly strong willed or those versed in the school of Glimrel can resist its effect. It can also rend away other magical boons (buffs).​
Wrathful Burst: This is magical attack that utilizes the active Cowl of Conquest to deliver a powerful burst of raw arcane energy in a radius around the user.​
Dark Mage: Vira'Trys has spent some years learning the dark arts, especially since it was necessary in creating the Cowl of Conquest.​
Competent Strategist: She's studied battle strategy, but lacks the needed experience to refer to herself as an actual strategist. However, she can read the flow of battle aptly enough to make split seconds decisions.​
Meditative Rest: She substitutes meditation for sleep. Most of the year. While soldiers sleep in their tents, groups of Fell Maidens will sit cross legged around fires in meditative seats, clutching a symbol of Soth.​

The Fell Maidens:
This group of female Drow warriors were designed specifically as the tip of the spear for Kieran's invasion. Highly dedicated, zealous, and learned in the Glimrel school of magic, they are meant to break enemy lines, crush morale, and be a bulwark of terror that ruthlessly advances forward. This company grew from 50 members in a temple dedicated to Soth, to over twice that number years after it's inception.​
Gear:
Fell Maidens are all equipped with a full plate suit of amyzantium armor and weapons. Amyzantium as an alloy is light, just as strong--if not stronger--than any other armor, and particularly conducive to casting in combat. It's great to wear for battle-mages as heavier metals and alloys tend to disrupt magical energies, and its particularly synergistic for the Fell Maiden whose body and strikes radiate with an aura of dark magic near constantly. Amyzantine itself is a pinkish metal, so amyzantium armor is often trimmed or inlayed with the metal itself.

Appearance:
A stunning beauty that only the dark elven nobility can produce, Vira'Trys would rather use her allure to intimidate rather than beckon unwanted suitors. She is taller and shapelier than most her kind, but her figure is one that was sculpted for martial life. Her eyes are a rare amethyst that shift in color based on the circumstance--red when she is angry, and gold when she is subdued and in a particularly good mood.​
Typically, for casual wear, Vira'Trys dons an expensively tailored black dress made from fine wool. It's fitted through the bust and waist, but flows freely with a flair near her feet. It prominently features a plunging neckline that ends near the base of her sternum and climbs into a standing collar that tapers to a point at the nape of her neck. The only decorative piece the dress features is a colorless braid fashioned into the dress to indicate her military ranking.​

Brief History:
Vira'Trys climb to power begins in ancient times with the loosely assembled Vraenor tribes who had just recently discovered magic. Among those tribes was a particular sect of matriarchal dark elves known as the Voka. Their heritage as dark elves made them potent wielders of the arcane, but it was said that their women were more latently talented in magic than their men--hence the disparity between them. They also worshiped a pantheon of goddesses and one of those goddesses was Soth; goddess of war, the massacre, the storm and the flood. Once exiled their descendants fled into the icy mountain range known as Nevryn's Reach. Over time they wrought great cities into the cliff-face, made livable with the help of developing technologies and magic.​
Long after Gareth discovered dark magic and Netherium became the heart of an empire, a Vokan priestess predicted that a descendant of Gareth would lead a great reclamation of their ancient homeland. The Houses of Voka fractured at this prophecy, each wanting to earn their own glory in the predicted days of reclamation. The years past by and eventually a noble drow woman named Vira'Trys inherited her family estate, titles, wealth and lands at a fairly young age. Her House of Morn was known for its business in metallurgy (their exclusive production of an alloy called amyzantium, along with the rights to mine pinkish metal amyzantine), and worship of the Goddess Soth. Her inherited holdings are sanctums in Nevryn's Reach called Methysko.​
Vira'Trys' own bid for the favor of Gareth's descendant was to invent an order of knights dedicated to the teachings of Soth. She spent many years studying the school of Glimrel, and dabbling in Kendov. Through countless years of training, focus, determination, and experimentation, she invented the techniques that would be used by the Fell Maidens in the future. It may sound like Vira'Trys was immediately persuaded by the promise of glory and joined the rat race to impress upon an overlord whose time of arrival the Houses could never know. But in reality her hand was forced by the vicious politics of the Voka drow.​
When it was apparent that Kieran was the heir they were all waiting for, Vira'Trys formally offered Kieran the Fell Maidens when he was just a teenager. He countered her offer with a test, only willing to accept the aid of a Voka who could unite their clan once again. Vira'Trys turned her focus to uniting the Voka through whatever means necessary. Some houses were eliminated outright but many fell under rank and file, recognizing House of Morn's strong leadership and the formidable force that was the Fell Maidens.​

As a knight, his life and training were set fair and square from the first time he tried to pick up a sword at seven years old on account of seeing his Mother's sword in the courtyard one day. He became squire at a young age and so his journey began. He hadn't much success with women, however, a young lady named Etienne always caught his eye and put a bright smile on his face. Kaius worked hard and relentlessly to get where he is now, and a bit of encouragement from Eti came a long way.

Brief History: Caelic was born into an exceptionally affluent household and had mostly, best interest on his side. He was a troublemaker of sorts outside of his Belvut studies, per the influence of his uncle who came around in later years, a man who was quite chaotic in his own way and a bit of a womanizer. The Belvut sect always had his top priority and complete attention until his uncle decided it was time for him to meet some "rarities" from the other neighboring countries and Caelic got a quick taste of pleasure in brief power, but also the pain of his right hand being cleanly sliced off. He never touched another woman after that and devoted his life solely to conjuration and demonstrating his value to the Vraenor Empire through his mastery of illusions in catching swift criminals lurking in the local city.

Brief History:
Emric's life was rather quaint and unassuming for his childhood. He did as he was told, he was a "good boy" and did his mother and father proud many times, especially upon his first marriage when he was nineteen. The passing of his grandfather when twenty five hardened the young man. At twenty nine, he remarried a third time to Etienne Farrow and while the two supposedly kept on a good face, Emric felt trapped with a woman who didn't want him after he'd (frankly) been assaulted by her their consummation day. He immediately looked for comfort elsewhere and has not communicated much with Etienne since that day, if at all.

Major Kirke Krupinski

Position/Role: Cavalry scout, field tactics advisor, and special combat duties.
Skills:

  • Expert rider: Kirke knows her way around horses and can quickly adapt to the gallop of any horse she meets. This is very important as she can lose her mount quite easily in the fog of war but with this skill, any horse she finds on the battlefield will serve her well. Kirke personally prefers to have a rough ride or in other words, she rides to biggest horses as she likes the thrill and excitement of it all. Over the years of developing this skill, Kirke has developed her legs to work like stabilizers allowing her to take incredibly accurate shots whilst on a fast gallop.
  • Reconnaissance specialist: Besides being an excellent rider, Kirke is also highly capable in the technique of surveying and tracking down her enemy. She is also surprisingly good at infiltrating enemy encampments to gather intelligence but this is mainly due to her nimbleness and small physique.
  • Well rounded fighter: Having been born into and raised in a highly militarized family, Kirke has been exposed to a variety of fighting techniques as well as styles. Her years of training have molded her into a respectable opponent for even the best skirmishers, swordsmen, and etc. employed in the imperial army. However she is no match against the imperial guards especially in a drunken state.
Krupp's skirmishers:
This is a backyard experiment run by major Krupinski. They have been retrained by Major Krupinski to follow a static mounted infantry formation doctrine Major Krupinski developed with her XO using theoretical situations as well as their experience from war games. The unit was authorised by Krupinski's father following a visit the Major paid to the navy and witnessed the destructive power of the cannon. The company comprises of 150 soldiers divided into 3 skirmisher platoons of 45 men and a 15 man company administrative section. Every soldier has underwent training to fight as light cavalry on horseback and light infantry on foot. The first platoon is also trained in unconventional warfare with an emphasis on infiltrating enemy fortifications.

The men of women of this unit were hand picked by major Krupinski for their backgrounds in civilian life. She primarily went for the ones who were hunters, mountain climbers, trackers, and also has a few men she brought out of the army brig as extra muscle.

Major Krupinski's skirmishers is not a unit designed for sustained combat. They carrying a limited amount of munitions for their bows that can knock an opposing rider off their horseback on impact and their cavalry sabers are only meant for hit and run tactics. They also don't wear a lot of armor however this light load enables them to be a very mobile force. They are best applied on the battlefield as a reconnaissance or flanking unit. They are also a go to option for running down routing infantry and disabling enemy launcher batteries.

They are distinguished from the rest of the army through their light blue uniforms, white scarves, lack of cavalry armor on the battlefield, and peaked caps bearing the company's white fox emblem.

Their horses also lack armor except at the front. The only additional protection the horse has is the rider's shield.

Weaknesses:
  • Alcohol: It is always important to keep alcohol away from Kirke as she loves the substance will feverishly guzzle it down her throat until someone stops her or when she passes out.
  • Lack of feminine attitude: Kirke is behaves more like a man than a woman. The only point that she has of being a woman is the fact she bathes everynight. The way Kirke eats, talks, drinks, and sleeps is identical to her older brothers and father. She is horrible at dealing with womanly affairs and matters. Never go to her to ask for advice because the most she’ll give you is a pistol with a loaded shot and tell you go fuck the idiot who is causing you your problems.

Weaponry/Gear:
Kirke carries a pair of throwing knives underneath her riding coat, a a shortened crossbow designed to be a convenient projectile launcher for mounted infantry and has been extensively modified by regimental armorer to be capable of knocking victims off their horseback. She also a cavalry saber. At the insistence of her father, Kirke also wears a single piece, conquistador styled armored breastplate that covers her entire torso. She hates the bulky thing and doesn’t wear it often unless she knows she will be engaged in heavy combat.


Appearance: Physically, Kirke is a small lady with green eyes. She stands at a meager 165 centimeters and weighs only 49 kilograms, 56 kilograms when she is fully laden with all her equipment and personal fancies. She has blonde hair tied into two ponytails with black ropes. Her legs do show a significant amount of muscle growth from her constant and long riding sessions. If anyone shakes Kirke’s left hand they will notice she is missing a quarter of her pinky finger.
Besides wearing her regimental cavalry uniform, Kirke styles herself in a black double breasted coats with golden lines and trimmings. She wears a grey skirt, black hand gloves, black leggings, and black ankle boots. She also keeps a golden pocket watch her grandfather gave her years ago to keep time. Lastly to contrast all the darkness of her pre-existing clothes, Kirke wears a white polar beat fur mini-cape held together by a single black butterfly knot.


Personality:
Kirke is an inventive military leader and loves to dive into battlefield theory. Ever since witnessing the advancements in artillery, Kirke has been strong advocate towards rewriting the military doctrine to accommodate the potential use of mass artillery in the battlefield. In the military command structure, Kirke is a demanding and rewarding officer. She doesn't accept no as an answer ordering her subordinates either to find a way around the problem for get the hell out of her unit. In return, Kirke treats them like family and has given them access to a lot of perks. In t
he planning room, Kirke is a quiet officer speaking only when she is asked. She doesn't talk much unless she sees a glaring issue.

Kirke personally and secretively wants an intimate relationship with a member of the opposite sex. She is aware that her lack of feminine qualities in her personality, her position and the army, and her intimidating father are major factors that ward off her potential lovers but Kirke is determined to find a soulmate. Her only conditions are the he, whomever he be, has to be of equal rank or lower, can cook wonderful meals to fill her tummy, and can coexist with her boyish personality.

The occasional gift of a bottle of alcohol is greatly appreciated by the Major

Brief History:
Major Krupinski is the only daughter and fifth child of the current general commanding the Vraenor empire’s well known fifth infantry corp. Originally, Kirke was to become a women of nobility however the discovery of her affinity with magic altered these plans. It was discovered she had a huge potential to control the power of winds. This discovery prompted her father to immediately begin preparing her for military life and drilled to be a soldier inside the house. Her father originally wanted her to go to the navy but after spilling some salt with an admiral he changed his plans and prepared her to become an officer in his army. Kirke's days became an organized military operation from that day forward. Her father spared no ounce of detail to condition Kirke and prepare her for a job filled primarily by men. The only hobby he tolerated his daughter to be involved in was riding. In turn, Kirke spent all of her free time honing and mastering her riding technique.

At the age of 10, Kirke's father brought her into the army as his personal aide. More conditioning followed and at the age of 16 Kirke was sent off to study at the school of aeromancy to perfect her mastery of wind magic. A four year intermission from the army was much needed for Kirke as she was able to catch up with culture and the things about being a women.

Following her attendance at the aeromancy school, Kirke's father sent Kirke to train with one of his retired colleagues to make her more psychologically and physically fit for a life as a professional soldier. She was given her commission three years later and was given the command of a cavalry platoon of which she took charge of respectfully eventually molding them into the first members of the black marks company.

Behind the scenes, Kirke’s father did everything in his power to get his daughter away from the gunfire as he could. He only managed to get his daughter up to the rank of Major before he felt his further tinkering with his daughter's career with lead to his subordinates to question is decisions but also jump onto the promotional bandwagon with his daughter.

The last few years as an officer has been enjoyable for Kirke. She obtained permission from the general to form a specialized cavalry reconnaissance and tactics unit. This unit came to be known as the Schwarzesmarken or "Black Marks". Kirke devised the training manual with her XO who also is a bit of a military theory lover. The unit was successfully created and met the standards the general had expected his daughter to achieve.

Over the years and with the rise of her rank, Kirke continues to train her ranks of Black Marks. She led her unit to earn a reputation in the entire imperial army through their displays on unconventional, often disgusting tactics used upon their opponents during war games.

Captain Erika Donitz
Name: Captain Erika Donitz

Position/Role: Company X.O, Schwarzesmarken Company, 5th army corp.
Very Brief History: Erika is a fellow classmate and friend to Major Krupinski. Their relationship started in the cafeteria of the Imperial War academy when Krupinski poured a scathing hot cup of coffee on her head. The two were once enemies and rivals in the academy but their relationship soon turned into one of respect and tolerance. After receiving her commission, Erika was assigned to the same fifth corp as Major Krupinski and they continued to be respectful allies. Through time, Erika became the executive officer of Major Krupinski’s black marks. She is a loyal friend and officer with a bit more sense on feminine matters. It is advised to go to her for trivial matters before going to the Major as Erika is company X.O. for a reason. Erika is also the Mastermind behind many of the inconventional and disgusting methods of warfare the unit employd during wargames. She is also the daughter of the naval admiral that Kirke's father got into a quarrels with many years ago. She has studied at the school of cryomancy hence her magical abilities lie within the realms of ice and freezing things.
