The Swords of Weathers. (In Character)

Gait came up the deck, carrying three giant and six medium sized scrolls of pure white papers stacked on top of each other. He approached Leo who was sitting in front of the hatch.

"Here!" He pushed the scrolls into Leo's arms. "It's heavy."

Leo Miltall
"Light paper's only good for tearing." Leo remarked as he was handed the scrolls by the swine man. They were heavier than he expected, but he was just glad to have paper with him to let his artistic mind roam freely during the adventure. It would probably help with some stressful situations they were bound to run into. "Here." He chuckled. "It's not too heavy." Leo added and simply tossed his pouch at the swine, no longer caring for how much he'd be paying for the scrolls. For what he was buying it was definitely too much, but in general there wasn't that much inside there so the man no longer cared about his coin.

With his scrolls in hand, Leo quickly returned to where he dropped his belongings before and stuffed them inside the bag with the rest. As he did, he couldn't help but notice the parchment the desert person retrieved from their pouch. A star map? There was something the white man could be jealous of. Leo had often heard about the things, but never bothered looking into it himself. His curiosity was bigger than his prejudice so he approached the robed figure.
"Hey there, buddy. That's a star map, right? Could you.. maybe, tell me how those things work?"

Allana would perk up from her star map to see just who spoke. She had been studying it and by now had tuned out any background noise. Yet one directly asking for her attention would grab such. One she looked up she took the time to study the man. The pause between their conversation would be indication of such. And to her, Leo came off as the usual white pretty boy she saw in these parts. Part of her suprised he's not brought a tavern wrench along for the ride. Maybe the guard didn't let him.

"...Such is not difficult," came from her mask quietly. The gloved finger would point to a random constellation on the map. "My people mark the stars... and with that we learn the world..." her speech is notably slow. Not a slowness out of idocracy, but more so just wanting to avoid exessive attention. "You carefully map the stars and their patterns in the sky. Such is useful for many reasons...if you can read it." And she assumed he could. The star map was charted in a circle with strange markings that appeared to be another language to mark important things such as latitude and longitude. "...but I trust you cannot." The reply perhaps had a pinch of malice in it. Allana honestly didn't expect him to care.

(OOC: sorry if this is too short or if my other replies are. On my phone.)

Leo Miltall
Leo remained quiet as he was being studied by Allana, though he didn't have much to study about her, as most of her body was covered by clothing. Typical of desert wanderers. However it did leave him feeling awkward and even a little attacked. What was he being looked at like that for? She was the stranger in these parts, why was he being examined as if he was something exotic to be admired? But in his mind, he sure was someone to be admired. "Heh, yeah. Keep looking. This is all me." He thought to himself, trying not to ignore any feelings of hostility he got from Allana's behaviour.

"No, I cannot. That's why I asked." He responded humbly, though visibly ticked off at her remark. "What's the point in drawing stars? How can you find your location by looking at them? They change every night, don't they? So, how would you know where you're going if you're just relying on random dots of light in the night sky?" He asked upfront, not wanting to hear more of her indirect insults and get answers instead. Leo just wanted to know how to use a star map and the man was at the very least trying to be nice, but he didn't know if it was worth being looked down upon by this person. The sandwalker would be getting the worst meals during this adventure if he could help it.

After half the day of soaring through the sky on the blimp ship, they finally reached a small airport built on a hill. The clouds in the sky ahead were strange spirals. It was a sign that the wind in the skies beyond was difficult to predict. It would be difficult to maneuver across the skies in with those winds. The airport town was built for that reason. Beneath the hill, carriages and horses could be seen moving along the roads. Many took the road. The party wasn't the first to journey into the area.

Doctor Weaselhoffer finally revealed himself. He was a small weasel kin, but larger than his animal counterpart. Compared to the general human, Weaselhoffer's height would reach about their waist. His eyes were black and glossy. His body was covered with a fancy hand made cotton coat. On his neck was a red and black checkers scarf. And on one of his hand is a fancy cane. He said nothing when both his paws reached the deck's floor. He didn't access anyone. A small pack was hung by his shoulders to his waist. Mysteries lies within those bags. The blimp was already tied to one of the docks and the gate has been opened. Weaselhoffer walked straight through the gate and descended down from the blimp ship to the docks.

"Come along now, whoever is working for me." He spoke without looking at the people on board. His voice was small and seasoned.

Weaselhoffer took out a small map of the local area and examined it for a moment before folding it back into his pack. He started walking, making his way down the small town.

The security in the area was not as great as the security in the cities. There were not as many law enforcers in the area compared to Grufford. It was after all just a walk away from the borders of Telmark. A forest could be seen upon them. The forest are not within the borders of Telmark. It was a lawless area. If murder was to happen outside the borders, the government will have no rights to prosecute the murderer. Same goes for thieving, enslaving, and other dark deeds. This is where Weaselhoffer needs his hired employees. This is where he needs protection.

Some time passed since the ship set sail. Yama wandered the ship for a bit before retiring to her room, jotting down entries into her journal as well as doing a bit of investigating. With a bit of asking around ans careful word play she managed to get a jist of where they were going and what sort of threats they'd be facing; the lawless wilds. If there was one thing more dangerous than monsters, it was men. At least the beast could be cowed and threaten, but with men with darkness in their hearts only death will free them. Yama wrote this into his journal as poetry for that day.

Once the ship landed Yama and the others were already on deck ready to go. The doctor revealed himself than, saying nothing but for his hired guards to come with him. Yama looked at Weaselhoffer and analyzed his equipment. While he may simply look like a gentleman adventurer, only a fool would think that the diminutive beastkin was defenseless. If anything, he could very well be one of the more dangerous individuals amongst them. Not immortal per say, but certainly dangerous. "Lead the way." Yama said with a hint of dry sarcasm. Though her musket was slung on her back, it was no longer in it's protective covering, ready to be used at a moment's notice, while Yama also had a hand resting near the hilt of her bayonet to be brandished in the event someone or something tries to get dangerously close to her.
