Kolchak High School is an exceptional place both during school hours and during after-school activities.
You aren't here on detention, you're most likely here because you haven't been caught, or you couldn't get in trouble if you tried. No, you're probably attending a club, or a study group for that class you aren't any good at. Or maybe you're here to socialize with people.
But then it's that first day after-school that you spot a hooligan setting a John Green novel aflame. Something is clearly going wrong here. Something presumably supernatural in nature, and I don't mean you're romancing a demon or an angel or whatever you could imagine: No, something will probably try to destroy you, your friends, the school, your family, your pets. Perhaps even on scales greater.
Join a study group, I guess. See what happens.
