The Persona


Cass has a big mouth that usually gets him in trouble. He says what's on his mind regardless of whether or not it will hurt someone's feelings. He isn't intentionally cruel, just honest to a fault. When he is cruel though he is very cut throat and aims for the low blows. However, he does not have the fight in him to back up his words. He likes to avoid physical altercations and most of the time he gets very lucky because of his social status and his best friend. He is viewed as very self absorbed because he tends to and keeps up with his appearance at an almost annoying rate. He isn't unaware of his surroundings and people around him however, he is always watching and observing. He mostly looks out for himself, but he is usually loyal to the people he considers close friends. Though he doesn't keep many people very close, he has a lot of people who know him, but he was never good at making friends. He masks his sadness with false bravery and anger, but he pretty much cries most nights when he's in bed alone.

The Background


Cass grew up very spoiled, but also very loved. His mother and father were the founders of the number one selling retail company in the U.K. known as Wentworths (WW). Though there were maids and servants around to tend to Cass, he spent nearly every moment not at school with his mother and father. Learning the ins and outs of the industry to prepare to one day take on their fortune. He always wore what was in fashion and had the looks for modeling some of the fall campaigns


In school Cass was known as an untouchable. He hung around the popular group with other richies, but never paid too much mind to them. He was always very outspoken and even a bit argumentative when he didn't agree with something someone did or had to say. Never afraid to speak his mind he had been terrified of being physically bullied, but as aforementioned for a time he was untouchable


At home he didn't spend much time outside. He liked reading and learning how to cook with the maids. He'd often put on a record from his mother collection while learning to make meals. He liked spending a lot of his time researching things and learning. He became intrigued with origami when visiting Japan. His love for reading came at a young age, he's always been intrigued by the idea of love. For the most part he was a whimsical and lively young child, but that all changed when tragedy struck


In the summer of his 9th birthday Cass lost his mother to brain cancer. The stress had drove his already artistic and zany father completely mad. The very next year his father was admitted to a psych ward when pleading insanity for attempt murder of Cass and attempted suicide. Being the name and face of the retail brand it quickly all went down the drain and Cass was sent to an orphanage


There he finally was met face to face with one of his biggest fears, physical altercation. His name no longer meant anything and the kids here didn't care who he used to be. Fortunately he also met his best friend, Everly. She protected him from the bullies and in exchange she wanted nothing, but his friendship. It would later come to surface that she had a crush on the boy, but that brought on an even more surprising revelation. Cass was gay. Eve saw no problem in this and even came out to him as bisexual. This brought them even closer together


At the orphanage he began to take up the hobby of running. Anything to be away from the constant bullying. Everly couldn't protect him from everyone and everything after all. When he was there he immensely enjoyed arts and craft time. He discovered he had a love and talent for painting as well. For a time things seemed to be at a strange state of peace


Then at the coming of his 16th birthday a big fight broke out between Eve and a bully because Cass had been outed. Not being able to tame her super strength, Eve nearly killed the boy and was on the verge of being sent away to a correctional facility. With some stroke of luck (unlucky if you ask Eve) her father found her, being able to better sense his daughter after her first partial phasing. He insisted that all charges be dropped and he be allowed to take her into custody once more, she was merely a run away not an orphan like she had claimed. The orphanage reluctantly agreed after being handed a lump sum of hush money to pay for the boys injuries and a little pocket change to spend on themselves


However, Eve would not leave without her best friend and she threatened her father to turn herself in and expose their secret. This did not sit well with him, but he had no choice in the matter when learning Cass was also a supernatural being as well. He scornfully agreed on the condition that the two be admitted to Westbrook. So, here we are


He has two dreams for the future. He hopes to reclaim his family's name and open an art gallery for survivors and victims of trauma. He also hopes to rebuild the relationship with his father, though he is still very scarred and hurt from the incident

She doesn't let people or situations make her cry, she doesn't even do it on her own time. It would likely take something very emotionally taxing to elicit that reaction from her. She is usually very cheery and playful. She more often than not is the center of attention because she is loud. She is very forgetful and spur of the moment type of person. She has a problem with authority, but also an intolerance for the mistreatment and bullying of others. She is very confident within herself and her abilities, but she has never been the kind of person to brag

The Background


V grew up without her mother. When giving birth to her she was already very sickly. V herself barely survived the ordeal. Born with jaundice, colic and RSV she was bedridden for weeks before she was even permitted release from the hospital. Her father raised her with the help of numerous care takers. He himself was a famous actor and model. They traveled the world a lot so she never enrolled in regular school, instead she was homeschooled on the road


Her father wanted her to follow in his footsteps so he took up every moment of her free time to teach her how to be a proper lady. He tried to get her to become serious about acting and modeling as well, but this sort of life did not interest her. The only things she truly enjoyed were dancing and archery, but even those things became a chore with her father in charge of her life. This created friction and conflict between her and her father and she distanced herself from him in all possible ways. She began acting out violently to get out of shoots and casting calls. Not knowing how to deal with her and not having the time he left her in the hands of the caretakers. Eventually though, came the day her father fell in love again. He fell for an english woman by the name of Monica Laveau


After being together for some time the woman offered to take V back home with her to live. She could see that the life of a star wasn't one for the young girl and maybe some time away from the limelight would change her. Of course because her father loved and trusted the woman he agreed. Never having a real motherly figure in her life V was hesitant at first when given the offer, but any means to be away from her father was good enough for her. Back at Laveau's home in Kensington was when the real horror story would begin


Laveau was a very psychotic and abusive woman. Her true intent was to shape V into a proper young lady by force. She kept her locked in the basement where she kept her arms and legs tied up. She was offered a small meal once a day and offered one cup of water a day. This method was intended to break V into listening to her, but it only made her more angry. She was too stubborn to accept the food and water even. After a few weeks of this torment V's super strength awakened, she broke free and the at the age of 11 was a runaway


She ran only so far that she passed out on the front porch steps of an orphanage from the lack of food and water. She was very sickly upon arriving, but they took her in and nursed her back to health. When waking up she didn't know where she was and upon realizing where she was she almost ran away again, but they begged her to stay just one more day to see that it wasn't so bad. That was the day she met Cass and for her it was love at first sight


Of course she had agreed to stay. She was only slightly let down by the fact that Cass was completely gay, but he was still her soul mate and best friend. She vowed to protect him because he had restored her faith in good people. For a time she was actually happy and living the life of a child. She picked back up her love for dancing and archery, but also began to parkour. Besides her protecting of Cass that would sometimes get mildly physical she didn't lash out or act up for many years, but then came the day a big fight broke out


V nearly fully phased for the first time and she also nearly killed a kid. The orphanage was on the verge of sending her away to the correctional facility when it seemed if almost on cue her father swooped in. He had been looking for her for sometime actually, being fed a crock of lies from a hysterical Monica that V had attacked her and ran away in a fit of rage. He had finally tracked her down when she partially phased for the first time. He bribed the owner of the orphanage with a lump sum of hush money and a threat for good measure. They reluctantly agreed, but she was to be removed and never allowed within 100 yards of the property ever again


Before being taken away V refused to leave without Cass and threatened she would turn her own self in if he wasn't allowed to join her. She told her father that he was like them in a sense, being a supernatural being and all. Her father accepted seeing the orphanage no place for either of their kind to be raised, but only on the condition that they both be enrolled at Westbrook. So, here we are

THE PERSONA

PERSONALITY: Ji-eun can be quite an unpredictable girl. She suffers from MPD (multiple personality disorder) which can cause something in her head to make a change to her. She can go from a kind, sweet girl to a crazy, twisted and aggressive person.

To explain this in a bit more detail, she has to live with the fact there are a total of three different people living in her head. She has the casual Ji-eun, who is chill, kind and cute. She is very carefree and outgoing as well. She is known as Jiji.

Secondly we have the emotionless Ji-eun. This personality is one where she feels no emotion no matter what is happening around her. And if there is any emotion showing it will probably be grumpiness or the likes of that. She will speak what it is on her mind which can cause some bad situations. This personality is known as Nancy, deriving from Negative Nancy.

Last we have a personality most would rather not see. This her personality where she becomes very aggressive, has no regard for others and is pretty much crazy. This personality will handle without thought and rather out of emotion. This can lead to some good but most of the time bad situations. This personality is called Cray which should be quite self explanatory.

Another thing about these personalities is that yes, while they are all aware of each other, they do not share thoughts, memories and so on.

Luckily the personality that is most dominant and is to be met most often is Jiji.

SPECIES: Warlock

POWER(S): Ji-eun has two powers. This power is invocation. She has control of 3 reagents known as Quas (ice), Wex (arcane) and Exort (fire). She can combine these reagants in certain ways to perform powerful spells.

Her other power is potion brewing which is quite self explanatory

POWER STRENGTHS: Ji-eun has a total of 6 invocations.
3 Exort will create Sun Strike. Ji-eun draws power from the sun to make a blast of fire strike down upon the location she targeted. A Sun Strike can be seen coming because of the scorced earth it will create beforehand. (radius of 2 meters)

3 Quas will create Cold Snap. Ji-eun focuses her wand and mind upon a single target and makes the icy powers of Quas enter them to stun them for a single post.

3 Wex will create EMP. A blast of arcane energy which channels for a single post before exploding in a 3 meter radius. EMP will prevent any spells from being casted by the targets hit by it.

2 Quas with 1 Wex will create Ghost Walk. Ji-eun becomes invisible for 3 posts and can move at a higher pace.

2 Quas and 1 Exort will create Ice Wall. Ji-eun creates a wall of ice with a length of 5 meters and a height of 1.5 meters which blocks any projectiles from passing through it. You can jump over the wall and it won't block powerful spells. The wall lasts for 4 posts.

When Ji-eun invokes Quas, Wex and Exort together she creates Deafening Blast. It's a spell with a blast radius of 2 meters around her that will temporarily (2 posts) deafen the targets hit by it and pushes them away 1 meter further.

POWER LIMITATIONS
She can have 2 invoked spells ready, but when she invokes a new one, the first invoked spell will not be able to be cast.

Sun Strike: Can only be cast from 11 AM to 4 PM, when the sun is high in the sky. Can also only be cast twice a day, with a 2 hour cooldown between the strikes.

Cold Snap: Can only be used on people that are not in affinity with fire. People with fire spells or people that can heat their body up, will not be affected by this spell. Can only be cast every 6 posts.

EMP: Can not go through any objects, so a rock or tree would block it. Can only be cast every 10 posts.

Ghost Walk: Can only be cast every 8 posts and cooldown starts when the invisibility wears off.

Ice Wall: Can be melted by any sort of fire power strong enough for it and has a cooldown of 10 posts and cooldown starts after it melts away.

Deafening Blast: This spell is powerful enough to tire out Ji-eun. So after casting this, she is unable to cast any spells or attacks for 3 posts. Cooldown would be 6 posts but if she uses it more than once, it could seriously injure her. Therefore it's only used in dangerous situations where it's needed.

BACKGROUND
BIO ian grew up in a rather selective household when he was younger; he was the older sibling, so his dad had great expectations for him and seemingly few for his sister, anastasia. his father had a bit of temper on him as well, which often manifested in ian as insecurity. he disliked his father and his ways of discipline; only his mum could ever keep him holding onto hope.

his parents separated when he was eleven years old and he had a vague idea of what was happening, but it sucked. ian's mum married another man, a rock star, when ian was fourteen. they've been together for a while now and ian enjoys the tremendous freedom his step-dad has given him- like a tattoo. his mum dislikes that kind of indulgent behavior, which ian supposes helps him and his younger sister keep sane.

Her heightened senses include being able to hear high pitched frequencies that an average human wouldn't be able to, hear things from a distance, smell even the faintest traces, and see things in a more detailed vision. Her super speed makes her seem like a blur to the naked eye, which helps if she's trying to make a getaway without being seen.
  POWER LIMITATIONS
  Her charmspeak doesn't really work against individuals who have strong minds and wills. Her heightened senses can sometimes be too overwhelming, and she has to always focus on one specifically for certain things, which blocks out all other senses. While she has super speed, it's difficult to control where she's going.
