Hello, hello! Thank you so much for dropping by and reading my thread.
My name is Josephina, but please feel free to call me Josie. I am a twenty-three year old ( she/they ) and I have been roleplaying for a little over a decade now. I took a sudden hiatus from the website as there were plenty of things that made my life hectic but I've picked up reading and writing again and let's just say my passion has returned. I'm currently in the process of writing a romance novel and I'm incredibly excited to say that the outline is finished and now I simply need to start writing. (The hardest part, lol!)

I am currently searching for some partners to toss ideas around and plot together a small-town (coastal/mountain towns are my jam!) romance. I've been nose-deep in romance books that feature small-town settings with a grumpy/sunshine pairing and I'm truly craving it. Though, I'm also completely down for a good ol' masc!golden retriever/fem!black cat dynamic as well. I have a couple of plots I'd love to expand on and explore, however, if they don't fit your style but you believe you have an idea that might interest me please feel free to send it my way! All of my plots feature a legal age gap, with your character playing an older male! It's currently what I'm in the mood for, but I won't shoo away those who wish to play younger. My only stipulation is that your character is above the age of 30. My character will usually be between the ages of 25-31, however, I am simply uninterested in writing against characters that are in their twenties.

I love tropes such as friends to lovers, strangers to lovers, soft rivals/enemies to lovers, grumpy/sunshine, power imbalance, pet names, affairs/cheating (stemmed from abusive or neglectful situations only), hurt/comfort, soulmates, size differences/small woman and large man, experienced/inexperienced, omegaverse tropes/werewolves, widow(er)/new lover. (Please note that I will never be interested in murder mysteries, detective, or spy/assassin stories!)

Before going into my ideas, I do have some things I'd like to go over that are generally just what I'm looking for in a writing partner and some general conditions when it comes to writing with me. Please carefully read them before shooting me a message!​

• I am looking for a MLW/BxG romance. I do not care about your irl gender, as long as you're able to play male for me while I play female I will be a happy camper. (Even better if there's a legal age gap/grumpy old man learning to love again!) I generally have a preference towards writing with women/non-men since they seem to really just get what I'm looking for but I will not give up on my guys because I know there's a good bunch of y'all out there who are just amazing writers! (I unfortunately just keep running into the ones that give y'all a bad rep!)
• I can write in first or third pov, I am not very picky though I'm more experienced in writing third. However, with that being said── I am not my character. My character's actions and feelings are not my own, this is a roleplay/friendzone only and I do not take kindly to flirting or sexual comments towards myself. (Happily married!)
• I am an advanced literate writer and my replies typically range from 700-800 words. With this being said, I am hoping to write with folks who can also meet this standard of length, and description, and maybe even push me to write more. However, this does not mean it absolutely needs to be a long reply of nonsense every single time. I definitely believe in quality over quantity, so to sum it up just make sure there is substance to your post that I can reply to.
• I've run into this issue quite a few times, but my character will more than likely be a chubby woman. I've written as small, petite, thin women my entire writing career and I'm honestly just over it. (Not that there's any issue with that body type!) As a chubby woman myself, advocating for this kind of diversity is important to me and if my character being chubby makes you uncomfortable or unable to write a story with me, please steer clear. Thank you!
• My schedule is wonky, but I'm finally getting the groove of my new promotion and settling into a comfortable routine. Although I've gotten a promotion, the exhaustion from work is still there and a lot of the time I'll be too tired to reply on certain work days. Because of this, I only reply to the roleplay itself on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Please do not expect roleplay replies on days other than the ones I've mentioned. I'm overall a slow replier though, as I'm doing my best to build up my motivation to write again as I was stuck in a rut. I can promise at least two replies per week, but it's usually more. Just realistically, if I'm busy or tired know that you'll get at least two replies. (I typically cannot do rapid-responses!)
• Adjacent to the point above, please do not rush me for replies. Checking in after two weeks or so is more than fine, however, if you are the kind of person to get anxious after a day of no response or spam until there is a response please steer clear. I have lots of anxiety about being rushed to do tasks and it makes me avoidant, I do not want my writing hobby to become a chore that I avoid like the plague. (Things like "Hello?" or "???" are rude and I'll end the roleplay for that.)
• I am more than happy to add in NSFW/Spicy themes and scenes, and I prefer to write them out fully rather than fade to black however I am a firm believer in proper build-up and timing. I am wholeheartedly a lady that loves slow burn and the build-up of feelings! If you come into my dms and it's apparent you're only looking for some spicy writing to hold you over for the night I'll absolutely block you. We can chat more privately about it, but please don't be creepy about it.

Now, while these are fully written out they do not have to go exactly the way they are written! If you like the idea of one, but want to change something up please feel free to let me know! I promise I won't bite. ​

• Wrongfully imprisoned, YC is released from prison with nothing but his old clothing and the small amount of change he had on him before his incarceration. Thankfully, it's enough for a bus ticket and he's off on the road for a better start. Stumbling into town, YC is at a loss for what to do and runs into a man the same age as him at a bar. The two get to talking, and YC shares his troubles. May it be luck or fate, YC has run into the local farmer who recently hurt his back and needs help with taking care of the farm before his daughter comes back to town to nurse him back to health. So, he offers YC a place to stay and a job so long as he doesn't cause any trouble. MC is that man's daughter, who arrives a week later to help take care of her father and ensure the farm is still managed. However, what she wasn't expecting was to fall into a whirlwind romance with her protective father's new farmhand.
• After suffering the loss of her husband, her job, and her house─ MC takes to the roads to live with her aunt and help her out with her bakery now that she's getting older. It's a small town with not much to do, but MC is convinced she needs the change of scenery. Her aunt warned her many times about taking the back roads to the town, and how to be wary, however, MC only thought she was being a worried old woman. When her car breaks down on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere, she thinks she's screwed. To her surprise, a kind truck driver stops to help her out with her car. Except, he's not kind at all, and begins taking advantage of the situation revealing his slimy nature. Just when things are about to get bad, MC and her assaulter are surprised by the clip-clop of the Sheriff's horse riding up on the scene, along with the Sheriff himself. YC is the local Sheriff making his rounds and comes across MC in an unsavory scene and makes a swift pace to remedy the situation. Without another ride to town, YC takes MC back to town upon his fiery steed, and the two fall into a comfortable relationship of MC baking new pastries for YC to try every morning. (And trying not to fall in love!)
• MC hadn't been home in years, not since the fallout she had with her father. But, he's dead now─ and she never liked seeing her mother so sad. Moving back to town was hard for her, and taking care of her catatonic mother was even harder. Thankfully, downtown has a lot more to offer her than it did when she was a teen. MC picks up a pottery class, something to take her mind off things and relax, the added bonus of free wine helps as well. Though, what once started as a place of relaxation and peace was soon replaced with feelings of sexual tension and heat. YC, retired and with not much else to do after his divorce, begins teaching a pottery class for some extra cash and to have something to do with his spare time. The two begin to see each other in different ways each time they see one another, a physical attraction clear until run-ins in their small town begin to break down what little professional relationship they were trying to keep.
