Alright, so the game is simple; take the plot of any piece of fiction (movies, tv shows, games, comics, etc) and write a brief tagline for it. HOWEVER, the rule of the game is that the major conflict of the story has to involve ninety-nine (99) dollars. There's no real way to win the game (just like real life!), but try to out-do the person above you by making yours even more ridiculous. You can post as many times as you want, but try to keep it to one tagline per post.

STAR WARS

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, the Rebel Alliance
waged war against the evil Galactic Empire for $99.​
 
Scooby Doo

A gang of four to six meddling kids and a dog unmask ghosts for ninety nine dollars.
 
Chronicles of Narnia

Bent on killing the boy who betrayed his family, the White Witch accepts Aslan's bargain of retreating her claims to his blood for $99.

Having lost their remaining parent, two desperate boys practice forbidden sorcery and sacrifice one of their arms, legs, and the younger's entire body for $99.
