So basically I am writing this thread to see if there is any interest in this. Basically it's heavily inspired by H.P. Lovecraft's work with heavy medieval fantasy elements put into it. Those who role play will have to create a character which comes from one of the four towns, to which when it starts something happens to Angel Island (what happens, well you'd have to find out) and it will go from there. The lore is in spoilers, and I am sorry for the terribly written lore, I am quite new at this. So without further ado, please read and comment if you are interested!

[BCOLOR=transparent]Theal:[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Theal once stood with magnificence and fame, with its name lingering upon peasant and noble tongues. Yet, walls were destined to fall and men doomed die, so they say - the predators prowl at night. For many years conflict and bloodshed prevailed, Theal was one amongst many to crumble in its wrath. Though, hope is never lost, the freed spirits left their mortal burden for the cycle to commence again. With spring following winter, the Earth retrieved the life from the hollow-spiritless men and blessed his land, the soil became fertile. Green sprung from wedges to plains, saturating with all sorts hues and shades. A new age dawned the remaining descendants, leading them to a pastoral life, they were content with mere crops and cattle. However, yearning for the diversity of crafts, Theal formed alliances with Hillbury, Tsarlan and Siont, creating a temporary harmony and self sufficiency. Over the years, their pastoral life emerged as a new identity and culture. The people of Theal have brown skin due to their hard work in the soil. Their clothing is that of nature.[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Siont:[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Siont mines, for the men who have hardly any skills or trade to offer would find themselves mining through stone for precious metals and coal. For the women, it would seem that all that is offered is food making, child rearing and housekeeping. The towns prosperity is almost immediately escorted to Angel Island and occasionally to one of the other cities and miniscule amounts given to the workers, with just enough for them to feed their family for the week. The people of Siont had hard and dirty skin from years of living in terrible conditions. Their clothing usually worn and tattered. [/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Tsarlan:[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Tsarlan is a very prosperous fishing town and always has been, it is one of the few sources of exports and one of the only places capable to develop fleets of ships in almost no time whatsoever. Though its people's trades are limited, to some of the most basic, they are more advanced than those of neighboring towns. The people are some of the more content of most of the linds, not wishing for anything more than luck on the sees and others a good day. The people of Tsarlan have quite pale skin despite the hard work on the seas. Their clothing mostly warm wool, due to the cold sea water winds. [/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Hillbury:[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Hillbury, the merchant city of the entire continent. It's filled with greedy minded people from north to south, but you will find the occasional good hearted people who are filled with compassion. All people flock here to make themselves a pocket of gold or to empty their pockets on weird and wonderful things. The people of Hillbury are foreign to all lands, those of different skin colour and ethnicity. Their clothing usually expensive, but can be a variety of things. [/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Angel Island:[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Angel Island is a religious island, set up in the memory of a sea loving angel that cared for the towns. It tended to have only monks of the Angel live on it, to which not many see but only those that came to land for religious matters.[/BCOLOR]
