Hadiir could hear muffled voices beyond the trapdoor, and though he couldn't make it out, he figured it for one of the Orcs, or their allies. Lying against the short wall of the tower, he watched it bend against the forces pushing against it.
---------------------------------------------------
Erethor ignored the Goblins' harassments, instead focusing on the fight. With the Orc commander added, it was looking less and less like they would win, especially if Shadowsigh really was dead. Crossing his arms over his chest, he tried to block out the sounds of the battle and lose himself in memories of a better time.
--------------------------------------------------
Shadowsigh remained still even as a deafening cry rang out, and the sounds of battle increased. Someone tripped over the Orc on top of him, knocking the body off slightly. His view now unobstructed by green skin, he was able to see who it was. "Hey, Fairwit," he said, barely loud enough to be heard over the fighting. The Elf looked around, moving quickly so as to be able to protect himself if needed, before locking eyes with the tribeleader. "Get me out of here," said he, and his fighter did, pushing the body off of Shadowsigh with great difficulty.
"Thanks," was all he was able to say before taking his weapon and dashing off into battle, trying to find the Orc that had shouted earlier.
