COLLAB POST FOR WOODED FOREST
[GM POST]
"Whoa, nononono, we're not gonna hurt anyone!" The Doctor shouted to Proto, raising his arms up and moving up next to Jojo to defuse things. "We just wanna talk. We can help, we know what you've gone through, and I'm sure you've gone through a lot, but if you just come with us, we can explain what's happened." He explained.
[Alison]
"Now... why should we believe you hmm?" Alison stepped forward, her arc growling slightly.
"Start talkin." Of course... she didn't like threatening people. But hey. It got information. Especially when she had a massive kickoff sword.
[051B]
Solar Charging active power reserves now at 85%
051B looked around slowly, taking in the area but saying nothing. Merely watching the other four. She felt strange, like something was missing. The orange things were gone, but they were not required for functionality so why did she feel like they were missing.
[Proto]
The abandoned experiment tilted his head. The smaller man tried to convince them to lower their weapons "You not hurt?" He looked over his shoulder to Alison. She seemed to have her doubts, and asked the man to talk. 051B seemed at a loss, so he followed Alison's example. Maintaining the barrier up and silently waiting for this standoff to go either way. Holding Akhilleus Kosmos, even at a fraction of its power was tiring...
[Alison]
"Do you know how much it takes to hurt a GE?" Alison responded with a smile, then a frown.
"Actually the more that I think about it... no. No you wouldn't. The answer is a lot." She gave a nod and a thumbs up.
[GM POST]
"No, I'm not gonna hurt anyone, and... What's a GE?" He asked her with visible confusion on his face for what Allison was even talking about
[Ahsoka]
"A Galactic Empire, in my experience."
A distinctly orange skinned woman with striking white facial tattoos and obviously inhuman montrals steps into sight. Wreathed in a nondescript gray robe, she looks like a monk or some itinerant traveler. There's a quiet serenity to her features that hints of challenges conquered and a sense of utter self worth. Seemingly unarmed, she walks slowly but steadily to join the Doctor.
Sharp blue eyes shift from person to person, sizing up, assessing. No dismissal of any particular person but no fear either.
"Your ability to find trouble is almost Jedi-like, Doctor. Who are your new friends?"
[Alison]
"Galactic Empire? No not even close." Alison growled slightly. Her hand slipping off of the handle of her arc.
"Plus. I'm a God Eater. We have a pension for killing the unkillable." Of course, that was stretching it a little bit. But, not entirely untrue. Aragami roughly translated to malevolent god after all.
"Are you going to explain why you just so happen to be exactly where we landed hmm?" She shot back as she crossed her arms. Which was a task in itself with her massive armlit on her wrist.
[GM POST]
"Oh, I can answer that!" Another voice echoed out from nowhere. Wasn't from the Doctor's group, that's for sure. It came up high. Just at the top of the old moss and rusted covered structure behind the Doctor and his friends.
There was a small silhouette of a person high atop the largest part of the structure. None of them would be able to see who they were.
"Coincidence, if you can believe! Last I was told, you and your party were on that planet of ash and death. And, if I'm reading things correct, you shouldn't be here at all."
[Ahsoka]
Ahsoka's eyes narrowed as she squinted up at the silhouette. One hand drifted towards her belt where she could retrieve macrobinoculars. But the unknown elements nearby meant it was probably unwise to risk splitting her attention that far. The Force would provide warning enough, if it need be.
Turning back, the Torgruta studies the curious hunter. And she was a hunter. Coming from a predatory species herself, Ahsoka understood the subtle nuance of narrowed eye and inner ferocity. "It might surprise you to learn how often we've faced this exact suspicion," the Jedi says in a smoothly diplomatic tone. "Are you native to this planet? Or are you like us, outside of our native universes?"
Ahsoka didn't comment on the woman calling herself a God Eater. But killing the unkillable, well, that was something she could relate to.
"It sounds like the newest arrival up there knows more than any of us, at least about the immediate situation. But rest assured, there are answers and we know some of them. We'll gladly share what we know with you." A smile lightened her orange-and-white features. "Why not give it a try?"

[GM POST]
"Oh no, far from it. A observer is all, analyzing this planet's resources and people's." The figure casually walked across the top of the structure, one hand behind its back, the other by its side still, like it was hiding something as the sun's rays blinded its figure from the others.
"I reveal myself only because it seems the situation now warrants open cordiality between us.... Surrender." His tone was friendly and cheerful, but the last line had slight aggression to it.
"What?" The 10th Doctor asked aloud in confusion.
"Surrender." The silhouette's voice became friendlier again. "The next few minutes, by my calculations, will determine if this world will survive or be shattered into particles. And it's because of your three new friends." He pointed to Alison, 1B, and Proto. "They have something we need to stop the destruction before it happens. And considering all of you are wanted by my creator, either surrender peacefully and you will be treated fairly, or.... well, let's not think negatively~"
[051B]
Finally something 051B could really understand, unfortunately her programming refused surrender as an option, surrender usually meant data wipes and being turned against your nation if you weren't cannibalized for parts and reverse engineering. As such most UNTIS especially ones that go behind enemy lines are programmed never to surrender.
She shifts into a readied stance, one hand on the hilt of her blade, eyeing all of the strangers equally, at this moment the only two she trusted to not be hostile were Alison and Proto.
[Proto]
As Alison attempted to clear things up with their first visitors, which the caged experiment started to suspect weren't all that bad. They surely would've attacked by now.
And then there was yet another person joining the conversation. A much more aggressive person. Asking for them to surrender for reasons he failed to understand.
Alison was quite smarter than him, so he turned his head to her. "Attack guy high, Alison?" the translucent green dome surrounding him and the girls remained solid for now. Until he heard a command.
[Jotaro Kujo]
The Stand User didn't dismiss [Star Platinum] until hostilities had more than cooled down.
Watching as Ashoka and The Doctor explain things better than Jotaro could, given that he had only ran back in after hearing a noise.
Good grief. Was all he thought to himself as he watched the others talk a out a "God Eater" and so on.
The cocky girl asked why they were there when they 'landed.' Jotaro was about to speak up when a new voice entered the air.
Looking up towards the source of the noise, Jotaro summoned his Stand once again, hoping to use the Stand's vision to get a proper look. But the sun prevented this by causing Jotaro to look into the sun essentially.
Letting out a small noise of annoyance as he watched the figure speak as it walked. Jotaro got closer to the group, standing between them essentially, the key words again hanging on his tongue as he got ready to stop time.
Especially when the figure commanded for them to surrender. And since they hadn't solved their respective hostilities, Jotaro was not going to risk being attacked by the newcomers, being mistaken for being pals with the enemy.
"If you're with who we think you're with, surrendering means death."
[Alison]
This was all getting out of hand. There where only three people here she could trust fully. And they were behind her.
A rather animalistic growl left her throat as she glanced up to the... newcomers.
"You are talking some pretty big words from the 'Can't do shit' section." She had a little right to be rude. Her stomach was eating a hole in her chest, she hadn't had anything proper to drink or eat in the past two days. And well. Hunger pains tended to make her angry.
"If mister baseball cap over there is correct in his assumption. I guess your boss didn't tell you what I can do then." She reached back behind her and pulled her arc off of her back. Its blade extending out to it's full length, which was somehow taller then Jotaro.
The combination of flesh and metal resting on her shoulder as she continued. "I can't trust any of you farther then I can throw you." She jacked a finger up to the figure in top of the structure.
"And nothing you throw at me will survive the fight. So if you want something, you better ask nicely." Even from this distance the figure could see the whisps of yellow and black curling from Alison's body, most of it coming out from the black flesh fusing her armlet to her body. (edited)
[Passchendaele]
After a silent few seconds, the figure simply walking across the top as he contemplated their resistant answer, it vanished in a flash of neon green light.
A color which was sure to be bugging everyone by now.
But after a few more silent seconds, the friendly little robots the doctor had helped out earlier shaking in fear of what may happen next, the ground began to shake. Like the tremors of an earthquake.
Yet, it wasn't the ground causing the earth to shift. It was the sky. With the sound of a thousand nails dragging against a chalkboard, the sky lit up with a blinding white flash, slowly then transforming into that same green color. It then sparked and flashed like lightning, each time 'breaking' the sky like glass shattering into shards. The bright colors of the forest were dimmed by a slow lack of sunlight, like the green was blocking it like clouds.
The ground began to crack as well, green light illuminating out. And if this wasn't ominous enough, Alison, Proto, and 1B all started to lightly, but noticeably, glow green. Their clothes, skin, and equipment all tinted with a light, dime green.
Proto would suddenly feel a claw grab him by the back if his neck once the group witnessed this all, before being thrown backward over the rocky terrain of the tunnel they passed through to reach the open clearing of the forest: landing against several trees as he was back inside the forest itself. The culprit being the figure who spoke to them from above
[GM POST]
"Peaceful death." He answered to Jojo, his robotic tentacle arms gently moving besides his body.
"And I don't need to fight you to win, my dear. Just outlast you." He also answered to Alison, amusement in his voice.
Her stances shifted, her feet spread ever so slightly into a rather wide stance. Her arc fell off of her shoulder, her left hand gripped the shaft and held it low by her knees. "And how long do you think that you can outlast me Tin can." Her eyes bore a hole into the robots oculus. Already she was analyzing the machine. Identifying what weak point she could at this relatively safe distance.
"I'll give you a fair warning. That fancy alloy you wear. Makes a wonderful snack." A sly smile came to her face. "And I haven't had a chance to enjoy a meal in a few hours."
[Proto]
The homunculus remained steady, as Alison did the talking. He observed as things seem to start clearing up, only to become confusing yet again.
The figure above dissapeared in a flash of green light, a familiar color. Which was followed by their entire surroundings shaking. Confusion started to take over the Proto-Berserker yet again. A loud, annoying noise drowned anything else, even his thoughts. The light turned awfully bright as well, and went from white to that familiar green. After who knows how many flashes of light later, the ground did its own shining. Not only that, but him and the two that came with him started glowing a slightly different green.
Completely caught off guard, his barrier dispersed as he was violently thrown backwards. As he flew, he caught a glimpse of his aggressor. Another robot... Did Ozwald get bored of experimenting with humans and tried robots now?
In any case, this experiment's instincts kicked in, hard. As a characteristic thirst for violence of a Berserker filled him, and his Crystallized Knowledge channeled it properly into combat spirit. Quickly jumping off the fallen trees he hit and onto his feet, he made a quick startup running before jumping right back from where he was thrown. Seeing the robot standing pretty much in the same spot. A golden spear with red glowing veins of energy appeared in his free arm, and using his chains as a platform for a brief instant, he hurled the spear with a thundering zoom as it flew straight to the robot's head. Said spear would explode on contact with enough pressure applied to it. Then maneuvered his limbs to regain a proper landing position.
[Ahsoka]
As the world turned to chaos, Ahsoka reached out with the Force. She took in the presence of those around her, and each had a signature in the Force like nothing she'd ever seen before. Much like the Timelord beside her, just as unique with his four-beat pulse of the Living Force thrumming through him.
The adversarial nature and armament of the newest arrival suggested diplomacy would be difficult. Made more so by the fierce reaction of these other visitors. Any effort at peace came to an end when the robot made the first move, the first strike really. Joining the fight against it might help with convincing the others to come along, if it came to it. But the eerie green glow of the sky and stones seemed mirrored in their forms too. This was technology far beyond her understanding. And while she might have her own approach, experience had taught her to respect the experience of others.
Ahsoka stepped forward, drew both lightsabers and crouched into a Shien form stance. "Doctor," she called out, her words meant for the man behind her but her eyes never leaving the scene of battle. "We can stay and join the fight or we can retreat. Unless you see a third option here?"
[GM POST]
Behind them, in the center of the gap between the earth and the platform connected to the massive, rusting complex, was a shallow river than flowed into a small, but deep pond down a steep hill. While they were busy speaking, the river started to rise.
The Doctor barely paid attention though, more focused on the green energy around them all, forming around the new arrivals. He knew what this was. "Oooooh no, no no no, nononononono--" He kept muttering to himself, looking petrified as he spun around to see how far reaching all the green forming matter was. Like liquid claws, the water rose out from the gap once it rose high enough, attempting to grab Ashoka, Alison, Jojo, 1B and the Doctor, and pull them back into the water to drown them as the river began to flood the area below the hill.
Standing motionless to Proto's oncoming attack, a large wall formed out of the Earth to block the spear, exploding into piece upon impact, but leaving the robot scatheless, before large blocks flew out of the earth towards Proto, trying to smash into him.
[Ahsoka Tano]
Decades of experience had taught Ahsoka to avoid the fallacy so many warriors, soldiers and especially generals fell into. Once a plan was conceived, they tended to commit to it and factors that should change their analysis were only obstacles to overcome via the original plan. It was remarkably hard to just simply stop a plan already in motion and pivot to doing something else. Ahsoka had seen that lesson over and over, learned it, and even now she almost fell victim to it yet again. The Force listened to her and it might prevail over the sudden rising flood of water.
But she had the Timelord in her charge. So Ahsoka abruptly toggled off her lightsabers, slipped them back onto her belt and promptly spun and lunged against the Doctor. Against and up, launching the two of them high into the sky. One of the platforms connected to the complex beckoned, yet the water still rose and followed. Chasing her. Her original momentum might not be enough after all.
With one arm firmly wrapped around the Doctor, the Jedi instead reached out with the Living Force within and made it flow without. A Force Push between her and the water, pushing it back...and pushing herself away from it. It threw off her landing a bit, though, and she had to swivel in the air with a perhaps uncooperative civilian she was rescuing to avoid the pair of them crashing.
Small mercy that Anakin wasn't here to see her less than graceful. An even smaller mercy that thinking of her Master no longer hurt, after all this time.
[Jotaro Kujo]
Watching as their advesary was down on their level, revealing the various limbs like an octopus on his back. The world around them altering as the skies look as if claws raked through them.
Green energy flowing around the trio they were talking to, and the Doctor looking perplexed and horrified as he watched the chaos unfold around them. So much so that Ashoka was the one to grab the Doctor when the water had begun to reach towards them, and leap away with the man.
Jotaro on the other hand, manifested his Stand's legs around his own and kick with all its might, easily launching the Marine Biologist into the air and would've impacted the ceiling had his Stand not punch to divert Jotaro's path to the upper floor, where he rolled into a crouch as he looked down upon the bastard responsible for all of this.
His ever scanning eyes taking in every detail, noting potential strengths and weaknesses including the very environment they had around them. Noting the control of the ground indicated that their foe could manipulate the area, meaning long ranged attacks would be worthless. It also meant fighting up close would be a pain as it meant the 'fighting area' could become unstable to difficult to dodge or even push the advantage.
Stopping time might be the only way to get in a hit. If he messed this up, it'd mean that the enemy would be very wary of even getting within two meters of Jotaro, and making the idea worthless. So he had to be careful with getting into range and luring the enemy in close enough to stop time.
[Alison]
Something was off. Alison's adrenaline spiked, her senses sharpened. She didn't know why, but she felt more in danger then normal.
The big thing threw a spear at the robodick, the jedi jumped to the side, and even that man in the coat jumped away with ease. It was all the warning she needed to snap into action.
Her stance shifted as she pushed off the ground with enough force to crack it under her feet, and launched herself forward at a pace that would give most humans whiplash. Just in time too, a claw of water lashed at where she was just standing.
"Nice trick there tuna can. Let's see you handle this..." Her blade snapped skyward. Ashoka, jotaro, and the mechanical people around were likely the only ones with sharp enough eyes to see the speed at which Alison's blade almost explode, rotate around, fold in on itself, and extend out the barrel of its gun form. "I have a few tricks too." She smirked as a hail of bullets left the barrel of her Arc. Sje didn't expect the low velocity projectiles to do much except impact against the metal. In fact, that's what she wanted. The oracle inside the bullets should eat away at its armor slowly as she dashed around it to avoid the water.
[Ashoka Tano]
Ashoka, through extraordinary strength and reflexes, managed to jump up, with The Doctor in her arms, halfway up the complex to the point the water claw could no longer follow her; splashing against the rusted metal as it tried crushing her. Once she stopped, The Doctor stumbled on his feet as the sudden rush of jumping that high was a bit much, but he still looked more panicked over the still growing green lights along the sky and ground.
"We need to leave, NOW!" He shouted to her, "This whole world is about to come apart by the cosmic seams, and if we're here when that happens, we're as good as dead!"
[Passchendaele]
The water continued to rise even after everyone had moved, growing so much the whole area began to overflow over the edge of the land and down to the endless forest miles down the sheer drop. This whole area was atop a massive mountain, and the small robots that lived here were becoming part of the crossfire. They would try running, or bouncing in their case, away from the running water, but would be carried away instead as they simply weren't fast enough.
The water in the pipes between and under the structure would expand out to the point they started to burst, as water was running everywhere below the complex; completely washing everything away. If no one did anything, the robots would be washed away too off the ledge to their likely deaths.
Throwing up his tentacles, their attacker was able to block Alison's fire. Unfortunately, the armor wasn't eating away. It was barely even scratching it, and once the water rose high enough to completely submerge Alison in a small tidal wave, he threw his arms to his side and launched off the ground into the sky. The tentacles had rockets in their palms.
He would land a few feet away from Ashoka and The Doctor; focusing solely on her. He didn't seem to care about anyone else but her. "I've never faced a Jedi before," he mentioned as his arms retracted into his back, "I was hoping to fight a proper Jedi Master at the peak of their strength in your galaxy, but you'll do for now." He waved his right hand to his side, forming a dark yellow rapier out of pure energy. Swinging it side to side, he put his left arm behind his back, and took a stance with his sword pointed directly at her. "En guard~" He seemed to be having fun.
Jotaro wouldn't be alone for long, as whenever he would try to interfere with the robot and Ashoka's battle, more large blocks of earth would be thrown his way to try and crush his body. The culprits of the Earth bending would reveal themselves not a moment later. Seven robots, different in design to their leader, all jumping down from atop the complex to meet him in the open.
Half glowed blue between the folds of their armor, the other half dark yellow, but the neon green lights along their armor made it clear they were working for the entity that started this whole thing.
[Ahsoka Tano]
As the Doctor cried out his warning, Ahsoka simply nodded, growing calmer as everyone around her grew more agitated. "Find us a way out then, Doctor. I'll buy you all the time I can."
Despite the probable futility, Ahsoka couldn't help but spare a moment's concentration for the inundated robots. The complex she'd landed on had all manner of vines. She'd clipped her lightsabers to her belt when jumping the Timelord to safety and she used her open hands now to spread vines out into the paths of as many robots as she could manage. It was little enough and not nearly long enough, unfortunately. Thanks to the impending arrival of an adversary.
When he said "I've never faced a Jedi before," the Torgruta smiled slightly in response and said "You still haven't."
The rest of his challenge was as predictable as the robot himself was not. She didn't understand his technology or his real capabilities but his motivations felt transparent enough.
"You've chosen a bad time for a fight," she answered by way of replying to his challenge, making no movement to draw her lightsabers again. "Doom is coming to this world. Perhaps you'd consider a match later, if we survive this? " Her faint, serene smile widened slightly. "If these are my last moments, I don't intend to spend them on anything as empty as a duel."
Despite her aura of calm, Ahsoka felt the Living Force flowing through her and around her, present in all things even here at the end of all those things. All her senses were attuned towards the present...and the immediate future. Drawing in self defense was only a matter of time, if the Doctor didn't devise a plan of his own.
[ANTI-PERSONNEL UNIT 051B MUSASHI CONFIGURATION]
ʜᴏsᴛɪʟᴇ ᴄᴏɴғɪʀᴍᴇᴅ ʙᴀʀʀɪᴇʀ ᴛᴏ ᴘʀɪᴍᴀʀʏ ᴏʙᴊᴇᴄᴛɪᴠᴇ, ᴇɴɢᴀɢɪɴɢ
ʜɪɢʜ ᴘᴏᴡᴇʀ ᴍᴏᴅᴇ ᴇɴɢᴀɢᴇᴅ, ᴇsᴛɪᴍᴀᴛᴇᴅ ᴍᴀx ᴅᴜʀᴀᴛɪᴏɴ 14 ᴍɪɴᴜᴛᴇs
Not a word was spoken as 051B lunges forward at the many armed robot, her feet leaving small craters at the point where she stood. Her parameters to isolate targets and leave multiple combatants to others designating that one as a high-value target. Despite a thought that the other man may require aid against seven hostiles she felt that others would be more suited to facing them, and her programming enforced such thoughts.
Bursting through the wall of water without slowing down she crouches and leaps into the air, aiming her sheathe even more skyward, hand in position a few inches away.
Hɪɢʜ Vᴇʟᴏᴄɪᴛʏ Bʟᴀᴅᴇ ᴅᴇᴘʟᴏʏᴇᴅ, ᴘᴏᴡᴇʀ ʀᴇsᴇʀᴠᴇs 86%
With a small explosion of force her blade leaves the sheathe vibrating furiously. She grabs the hilt and continues it's trajectory upward arcing it downwards to cut away at some of the robotic tentacles the opponent had, reduce limbs and possible weaponry to ensure successful termination of target.
1B's whole body, right before her blade couldn't even touch the robot's tentacle, would be immensely damaged, as the green glow illuminated even more to make her glow like a lit candle in the dead of night. Her body as well began to show cracks, the same kind as the ones along the ground and above in the sky.
Nothing in her systems diagnostics would show what was happening to her, and the more she struggled, the more the cracks formed around her body; a piece of glass ready to shatter as some unknown pressure tried to break open her body.
"I said not to reveal yourself." A voice said to the robot, as another machine formed out of thin air besides him. "Now we're found."
"This world is dying, and they will to. Nothing is compromised, so just get the shards." He answered back to the other robot, before forming a orange glowing revolver in his hand behind his back. It took the shape of a Webley revolver, and since Ashoka wouldn't attack first, he would need to make her. So he quickly pointed the revolve at her head and fired, a bullet of orange energy coming right for her.
As the orange glowing revolver formed behind his back, Ahsoka's sense of the future already warned her of impending danger. With a gesture from one hand, the Force 'shifted' the 10th Doctor backwards and slightly to the side. The rest of her simply bent to the side even as the gun came up and out and opened fire. The orange energy passed between the Jedi and the Timelord, touching neither.
"What do you want with them?" Ahsoka asked the enigmatic robot, her tone one of polite interest, as if they were having tea.
"AH!" 10 shouted as Ahsoka pushed him away before the bullet got close to either of them.
"Oh for the love of--" He muttered, before firing three more shots at her.
A length of rusted metal railing tore loose from the side of the walkway, even as a broken off segment of the old architecture levitated into the air and angled. The old metal doubtlessly disintegrated under the lethal attack but it also dispersed the orange energy 'spray' enough to spread out into empty air. Ahsoka backed up, waving the 10th Doctor backwards as well, even as the length of rusted metal railing promptly wrapped itself around the robot to throw off his aim for the next series of bullets he decides to fire.
"You're very confrontational, for someone who isn't supposed to reveal themselves," Ahsoka commented in the absent manner of an instructor slightly bored by their student's predictable actions. "Do you have programming or orders? You might think about having a conversation with either your coder or your commander to make sure your higher thought processes aren't as compromised as your mission."
Each blast of the orange energy indeed destroyed a portion of the railing, melting it away like a blaster would armor from her world. This thing used plasma for ammunition, or some form of it. As it tried wrapping around his body, his claws protracted out once more, grabbing the edges to rip apart, or smashing it into the ground after his rapier cut it to shreds.
One of his claws then quickly launched out towards Ahsoka, trying to grab at her chest to pull her in towards him. That's when they both vanished by another flash of green light, disappearing from the world entirely.
The living shield grunted as he saw his initial attack rendered futile, but regardless, he landed on a sprint, determined to crush that robot. Chunks of rock flew towards him, but his speed wasn't diminished. His shield didn't budge when crushing the ones ahead, while others further from him were slammed away by his chains.
It was then that he noticed all hell breaking loose and fights starting up above, as everything flooded. His inner spirits called his attention to something else. The small innocent creatures were being dragged away towards what looked like the edge of a who knows how long fall. While some parts of him screamed to help in battle, the heroic spirits within couldn't bear witness to the death of innocents.
So, against all odds, the raging warrior jumped into the water, casting a wide golden net. Swimming at incredible speeds he caught every creature he could catch a glimpse of in the raging flow of water. Once he caught all of them, he made golden platforms to step out of the water while carrying a huge net filled with little robots, while looking for a safe place to drop them off and get back to quench his burning thirst for battle.
When Jotaro tried to reenter the fight, hoping to at least get the Doctor out of harm's way, it was only thanks to his Stand's reactionary action to stop time that saved his life. The Stand User barely registered it until he realized that the seven robots had surrounded him with rocks suspended in stopped time, angled toward him and no doubt intended to crush him.
With these odds, the Stand User manifested [Star Platinum] around his legs to shoot down to propel himself backwards and in the direction of the Doctor, just barely reaching in the first second to pass. Jotaro reaching out to grab the Time Lord in the last second before time resumed, however he couldn't tell if what happened next was a trick of the mind, but he could've sworn that half a second passed before the reminder of time needing to resume tugged at his heart like a hand plucking at a string.
"Time shall resume its flow." He spoke as he pulled the Doctor close to him, as now the two of them got a safe distance down along the roof and away from the robots and the duel between Ashoka and that droid man thing, Jotaro's Stand manifesting to soften the landing for the pair by essentially bracing like a football player or more accurately like a Wrestler assisting a friend.
Standing sharply back on his own two feet, he quickly said to the Doctor. "What's the plan? I have a feeling even if we win here, this place is done for unless you have something in mind." Manifesting the Stand properly in front of him, Jotaro stood ready in case those seven robots decided to chase him.
"So there was one more..." Alison growled. "You show your face now eh. And your buddy left you all alone. Its..." She counted our in her head. "Around four V one. You like those odds?" She taunted as she switched her weapon back to its blade form, slowly making her way over to Osmin. Best to not rush in, seems the fellow bad something to do with the green glow...
A plan would be nice actually. And she couldn't rely on the nonverbals her normal mates would use. She shot a glance to 1B, then reached for her armlet and tapped a single button. A short range burst transmission. Everyone with a radio would be able to pick it up. But it was a simple command 'Focus my target'
And with that she snapped into action, trying to close as much distance as she could in as little as time as possible. A dead sprint with her arc held at the ready.

COLLAB POST FOR RAPTURE
[GM POST]
As Felix poked his head out from the hallway of the stairs, above him a voice screamed out, "HEEEEAAAGH!" An enemy from the top of the balcony jumped off to pounce on him, wielding a wrench and screaming in an off eye high pitched tone.
Just across the room, the locked door rose open, with three more strangers quickly running out. Two wielded tire irons, rushing at both Felix and Isaac, while the third was loading a Thompson machine gun with a drum mag. Without care for if the two running off would get caught in the crossfire, once he pulled back the hammer, he began unloading at the two.
All four were dressed in upper-class, 50s attire, stained with blood and dark smudges of who knows what, as well opera masks, some covering their whole face, others broken and covering just an eye or parts of their mouths. Yet, even then, the two would see they were disfigured; contorting and twisted like the skin had sagged and begun to rot by poor hygiene and whatever had caused them to loose their minds and ramble and shout incoherently.
[Isaac Clarke]
Upon seeing the four attackers, Isaac's instincts from encounters with Necromorphs made him prioritize the one with the range in the back, the Engineer reached out his palm to shoot out a blast of stasis to slow down for the time being to give Felix and himself a chance to deal with their current melee attackers.
However, before he could even raise his Plasma Cutter, he was struck in the head by one of their pipe wielding attackers, the attack clanging on his metal helmet and causing his eyes to go double as his skull shook from the impact. He reached out and barely grabbed the wrist of his attacker but in turn had his gun hand grabbed. "Motherfucker!" He called out as he struggled with the maniac.
Realizing that he and Felix were grabbed, and the one wielding the gun would eventually get back to regular time and shoot both of them as stasis would wear off, on top of the other crazies. Isaac would do his best to aim his plasma cutter towards the one attacking Felix to give his friend a chance to deal some real damage. The tool firing off misplaced shots that melted steel and caught a painting on fire as the plasma burned. Eventually, he sent a volley at the one on Felix, popping his head as if it were a red paint filled balloon and hopefully giving Felix enough time to attack.
[Felix]
Felix had thought his covering fire would dissuade attacks like this. But then again, the brief glimpse he got of these 'people' made them out to be horribly deformed, and the way they babbled as they rushed didn't give Felix much confidence in their sanity. Any thoughts after that were occupied by an impact against his Neurohelmet, and a desperate struggle between the pipe-swinging maniac and Felix, whose laser rifle had gone tumbling downstairs.
Felix was sure the other man would overpower him any second, and Felix's visor went red... It was a moment before the madman's body collapsed onto him, and Felix realized what happened. Awkwardly shoving the corpse aside and clumsily wiping his visor, he saw Isaac, his savior, still struggling with his foe. No time to retrieve his rifle, Felix instead drew his sidearm, stitching a burst of three rounds through the psycho's ribs, making him lurch with the pain and keel over. The third assaulter, pipe raised and nearly forgotten, got the next three bullets, the recoil stitching a pair of shots into his chest before the last one tore into his cheek.
The Mechwarrior might've said something, had he not heard the distorted report of another firearm. Felix moved up to the top of the stairs, pistol forwards... And saw that Isaac had saved them both twice now, by forcing the lone machine gunner to move and fire in slow motion. It would've been lovely to watch the bullets slide past at a snail's pace, but there wasn't time. So Felix emptied the rest of his magazine at the man with the ancient sub-gun, nine shots in three bursts of three. Felix was sure it would be enough.
[GM POST]
At the top of the stairs, there was no other exit out of the room, but there was a vending machine at the back of the wall. When they both got close to it, it played a little jingle and recorded line with a female girl's voice.
"My daddy's SMARTER than Einstein, STRONGER than Hercules and lights a fire with a SNAP of his fingers. Are you as good as my daddy, Mister? Not if you don't visit the Gatherer's Garden, you aren't! Smart daddies get spliced, at the Gardens!"
The recording was slightly broken in tone, rising and lower like the tape had been worn from multiple uses. In the machine itself were three different strange vials of whatever red liquid was inside them. The vials had needles at the ends that looked to be inserted into the veins of the arm or wrist, and each had a different name to them.
'Electro Bolt'
'Incinerate!'
'Winter Blast'
The door that had been opened by the insane strangers was still open as well, allowing them to leave through there.
[Felix]
Felix ducked back below the lip of the stairs ever so briefly to reload his pistol, being sure not to drop the empty mag down the stairs. Then he popped right back up, scanning the room. No movement. He stalked forward, pistol extended, ever wary as he approached the last of the corpses he and Isaac had made. It was then that a voice made him jump and he spun, training his weapon on... a pair of child statues? No, the voice hadn't come from the statues directly, it was the hypodermic-bearing machine between them that was belting out a sales pitch. Felix let out a sigh to release the tension from his shoulders and chest before he finished his quick patrol check.
"Isaac? Do you read me down there?... Thanks for the save, and you're welcome for the return. But if you're still conscious, can you grab my rifle? We've gotta regroup and plan out our next move if we want to leave hostile territory."
He said into the radio in his helm, unsure if either of their comms were still functional. Hell, even if they were, the place was so metallic that all kinds of signal interference could be taking place. Felix then finally checked the sub-gunner. Pistol barrel pressed to his forehead and fingers to his throat, Felix waited for a pulse... Nothing. He was growing cold, too.
With that satisfied, he examined the man more carefully. The mask didn't do much to hide the man's deformities, and Felix wasn't too keen on touching the potentially diseased corpse any more than he already had. The blood on his face was just as concerning. The next thing of interest was the Sub-gun itself. The manufacture was relatively new, and it was well decorated, but the model was ancient! These weapons, to the mechwarrior's knowledge, were among the very first sub-guns ever designed! Maybe not THE first, but they were antiques WELL before man left earth. But a subgun was a subgun, so Felix tried to tug it out of its owner's hands, struggling against rigor mortis until it came free... And Felix saw it.
There they were, clear as day: A belt around the upper arm and numerous pinprick scars dotting the lower, following the path of a vein. Clear indicators of abusing injectables... And hadn't that vendor held a few? Going back to it, the sales pitch triggered again, but Felix's eyes read the title... 'Gatherer's Garden Genetic Modifications' and the implications hit him as that childish voice recited "Smart daddies get spliced, at the Gardens!" once more.
"Still not hearing anything from you, Isaac. But I've just found evidence that these guys aren't diseased, so we shouldn't have to worry about being infected or anything... Then again, the fact that this universe sells Genetic modifications out of vending machines, and the guy up here has serious track marks in his arm is really bad news. Gene mod Junkies... Fuck, my world hasn't seen genetic tech since the Star league days..."
The mechwarrior wasn't lying about that, either. But he didn't know that the clans and their invasion had returned genetic engineering to the inner sphere... Or moved on to human subjects. Supersoldiers. Well, what he didn't know couldn't hurt him in this world. Not yet, at least. For now, Felix looked to the door. He couldn't close the watertight door without fearing it would lock again, but he couldn't afford to get surprised by anyone either. So, subgun and its spare magazine firmly in his possession, Felix grabbed a chair, set it in the doorway, and propped up the corpse in the chair. He hoped that if anyone ran at them, they'd shoot or attack the dead man on instinct, and give him a second to respond. That's when he looked at the vending machine again... Then at the man's face, finally bold enough to remove the mask... He looked horrible. Felix didn't feel nauseous, but he still cringed at the sight.
"Man... If this guy went this far... Were the mods even worth it?... Do they actually... Do the things she said?"
[Isaac Clarke]
Thankful that his efforts had worked, and that Felix had in turn saved Isaac as his attacker was shot. The power of the gun and the awkward stance he had made Isaac fell, only hearing a couple more gunshots before the slowed enemy had bullets rip through his head, no doubt not even processing it as stasis worked wonky like that.
Up until the poor bastard fell over dead after stasis wore off.
Hearing Felix speak over the radio, Isaac commented after he finally got up. "I can hear you just fine." Walking over to kinesis the gun up into his hands before he walked over to the stairs.
"Thanks, I'm too used to fighting monsters than people." He said, looking over the deformed corpses, crouching down to examine them. Grimacing as he did so. 'Jesus.' He muttered as he looked underneath the mask.
"Wait what, genetic modifications?" He called out as he looked up to the balcony. Continuing. "Judging from the various marks, I got a feeling they got this way from repeat injections of whatever they were injecting." As he walked up the stairs to look at the vending machine, noting Felix's little creation of a distraction.
"I'm sure one injection wouldn't hurt. But....Up to you man, I think we need to continue down the hall. Find a way out of here."
[GM POST]
As Issac and Felix talked, the ground beneath them began to shake.
Like the tremors of an earthquake. Yet, it wasn't the ground causing the earth to shift. It was the ocean sky surrounding the sky. With the sound of a thousand nails dragging against a chalkboard, the seabed lit up with a blinding white flash, slowly then transforming into that same green color that had brought them all into this multiverse mess. It then sparked and flashed like lightning, each time 'breaking' the ocean like glass shattering into shards, with the waves of the water making it look like auroras dancing across the underwater city. Yet, it also made the city seem even darker.
The neon signs, the lights in the hallways, even the radio that was playing the song, it grew dim so that only the green lights outside illuminated everything. The song itself was now lower in pitch and tone, with white noise drowning it out so it could hardly be heard unless close by.
The ground began to crack as well, green light shining out. And if this wasn't ominous enough, Issac and Felix started to lightly, but noticeably, glow green. Their clothes, skin, and equipment all tinted with a light, dim green.
[Felix]
Felix pondered for a good minute whether doing unknowable gene-mod drugs was worth the risk, but when the city shook with a deafening shriek, he knew things were bad. Seeing the 'cracks' in reality growing, just like he remembered from the misjump that started all this, he decided that if there was any time to pick up bad old habits, it was now. Smashing the vendor glass with the stock of the thompson, he grabbed and stowed two of the needles, popping off the safety cap from the third, pulling up his sleeve, and pressing the needle to his vein. He paused.
"Isaac, if this fucks with my head, or I die down here... The voice code for my mechs is 'Remember the Run'. And once you're in, you need to slip on the neurohelmet and go into the settings to recalibrate it for your brainwave activity, alright? Might get nauseous for a minute while it's scanning but after that, it's as good as yours."
he said, biting his lip as he felt the familiar sensation of a needle piercing his skin. He hadn't actually checked which one he'd chosen until after it was in his body. 'Incinerate' seemed to live up to its name, a warmth spreading through his muscles and a burning in his veins. It was familiar, and his memories flittered to bad decisions made with his fellow soldiers. Not much else to do when you were just around to guard a city. However, the familiar heat soon turned too hot. Boiling. He could just see his skin glowing through his gloves, and threw them off to get a better look. The heat on his hands reminded him of burning himself on the unit's toaster oven, but it didn't QUITE hurt, but the glow... It was unnatural. Right as his mind worried he'd actually catch fire, it happened. He was burning! He held his hands far, FAR from his face, hurriedly clapping and rubbing and waving them around as he desperately tried to extinguish the flames. Then he accidentally snapped his fingers... And the corpse, the thing he was looking directly at, burst into flames. (edited)
Grehstone — 03/12/2022
"... Um. Did I just..."
Said Felix, the shock of what he'd done bringing him back to reality... Then, experimentally, he focused on a nearby spot on the carpet, snapped again... And a little fire began. He stamped it out quickly, but he was still stunned.
"Okay, I think it's safe to say the marketing isn't bullshit. Let's walk and talk."
he said, taking point once again, one hand holding the thompson at his hip while the other, glowing that ominous red, rested as though ready to snap again at any moment. with that level of readiness, he stalked forward, ever-alert...
"You're a civilian engineer, right? Non-military? Just asking because I don't know if you know how to handle a rapid-fire subgun like this, and I at least had to train with one back in the day. You can use my rifle if you like, but if you know how to shoot this thing, I'd appreciate a swap. Also, if you want to try this 'plasmid' stuff yourself, just ask. No idea what 'electroshock' does, but something tells me 'telekinesis' is just that thing your tech already does."
[Isaac Clarke]
He didn't realize it as Isaac looked away at a distant noise he had heard down the corridor when he turned back at Felix's words concerning his mech after smashing the vending machine and snatching a vial of whatever it was filled with and injected it into himself.
At first he thought it was another snake oil thing before suddenly Felix's hands burst into flames and suddenly a corpse had lit on fire when he snapped his fingers at it.
"Jesus." Isaac muttered out as he watched Felix test out his power. "Just...Be careful." He said, noting how it just needed a snap of his fingers.
In regards to Felix's question. "You could say that. It should be like using the Pulse Rifle. And let's just say I got a lot of experience with using such a weapon." He asked as he picked up the sub machine gun. Testing its weight and putting away his Plasma Cutter.
He did grab both vials of the 'Plasmids' since someone they meet could make good work with such tools.
"In case we meet back up with the others." He explained.

[GM POST]
The gargoyle's feet sank into the ground, up to its ankles as it charged towards the trio. It stopped several feet away from them, but was still close enough to attack; opening its mouth wide to breath out yellow lightning like it was fire. It spread across the ground, bolts of electricity bouncing off the ground at waist height that would make their skin tingle if they got close enough, and hurt like hell if they were caught in it.
[Koji Kashin]
Slowing his breathing Koji would make sure to move as little as possible to not put his wounded body in any more strain, his eyes widening as he saw electricity form up in the creature's mouth. Light on his feet he would hop in the air and dodge the lightning barrage before landing on the guard rail of the bridge, huffing air as he was fighting the pain from his crushed left side.
"Everyone keep your distance, it's not just a golem and we don't know what other abilities it has. Hopefully the quick sand will keep it in one place, if you got ranged attacks use them now." He says as he reaches into his coat, pulling out throwing knives that he throws at the creatures eyes and mouth, he didn't think it'd do much against the stone creature but it was something.
[Yang]
Yang's first reaction to seeing the armored being had followed them was a grin. If this thing followed herself and Samus, that means it didn't follow the others. And she is confident she and Samus can handle themselves. Her lilac colored eyes look towards Samus, giving her a little nod. As if to silently say 'lets do this'. It starts to build energy once more, and Yang braces herself.
And then the thing is smashed.
Yang's arms draw up into an 'x' as guard when the gargoyle drops down and puts the kibosh on the centurion's ongoing existence. Her arms lower a little and she watches the ginormous gargoyle monster sweep the centurion away like a plaything. Her eyes are wide as she watches the gargoyle, and she utters. "Well now there's that." The gargoyle's gaze fixes on the two women, and Yang knows it's go time. But a new voice is suddenly there, a male's voice. Yang takes a tentative step back and her gaze whips to Koji, and he speaks with the same bewilderment she had first felt here. Well… the bewilderment she continues to feel. Koji uses his Semblance, and Yang looks back to the gargoyle as it seems abruptly trapped. "Keen" she says with an approving nod.
The building energy within the maw of the gargoyle alerts Yang they are all in for trouble. She moves into a defensive stance, glaring now at the gargoyle. She goes into a sudden short sprint as it unleashes the yellow lightning towards them. Yang jukes to her left as she moves, but she does let out a short cry of surprise as she is merely glanced by the lightning. Her form glows with a shimmering yellow for just a moment as her Aura absorbs some of the damage, but she feels some of her body go numb. Yang stumbles with a scowl, flexing her left hand to get feeling back. Getting her footing back, she appraises the new situation. Koji tells them to use ranged and despite herself, Yang rolls her eyes. "Yeah, you guys go 'head and do that. I'm gonna go and ask for directions." And with that Yang is in a sudden sprint towards the gargoyle.
Because… Yang.
She can see where the ground around the gargoyle is… no longer ground. More like a thick soup.
Yum. Thick soup.
Her body leans forward and her arms extend behind her as she picks up speed, and she lets out a shrill whistle between her teeth to make sure the gargoyle knows she is coming at him, to make sure it's attention stays on her. The gargoyle, apparently annoyed, raises its axe with her approach. It comes down with monstrous power and Yang fires a propulsion shot from her right hand, sending her zigging to one side as the axe smashes into the ground. Yang then leaps up and fires behind her now, sending herself towards the face of the gargoyle. But… it's axe swings out sideways, the broadside of the blade smashing into the airborn Yang with furious power. She grits her teeth as it makes contact and she is sent hurtling from the gargoyle, her body once more flashing a glistening glow. Yang lands hard, rolling to a stop as she groans softly. Well out of reach of the gargoyle now, of course. The ground below her is cracked and smashed, and she feels the same. But she pushes herself up to her elbows, and then promptly gets to her feet. She breathes heavy as she looks back towards the gargoyle. Gritting her teeth, Yang keeps her emotions under control. She was hit… hard. But she doesn't seem to have taken any physical damage. Not even a bruise. She begins to stride back towards the gargoyle and calls out "Hey ugly! We're not done! Ya know the way to Atlas?!"
As foolhardy as that was, clearly to any observer… it's went exactly as she planned.
[Samus Aran]
Finding herself suddenly transported yet again, she wasn't sure if she should be frustrated or relieved that the main enemy appeared to have followed after them an not any of the others, along with a new threat showing up and taking out the first.
A dragon, which immediately reminded her of a certain other purple dragon that had single-handedly made her life hell, filling her with an irrational rage at even the mere parallel. So great that she almost didn't even realise she was in the company of another, the yellow-haired one from before, as well as a newcomer, apparently injured from a glance.
A deep breath later, and her rage was subsided, yet before she could say anything, the dragon, already began charging up some sort of breath attack. Doing the tried-and-true tactic of hitting something big until it stopped moving, Samus was already laying into the creature with energy blasts and rockets as the lightning began pouring from the creature, focusing on the tail to hopefully break it, considering it seemed to be made of some sort of stone.
She considered asking them both to back off, but she got the feeling that Yang wouldn't listen, so instead she called to the man over the cascading electricity. "Unless you can regenerate, you need to get to safety." He seemed to be some sort of ninja, based on his choice weaponry.
Watching the woman charge forward, she frowned at the jokes in what was clearly a life or death scenario, but decided that they must know what they're doing if they're charging forward and began making her way around the creature, trying to flank it as she continued popping missile after missile on it.
[GM POST]
Samus' shots landed more effectively against the Gargoyle than Koji's knives, as his bounced off his head and mouth like he had thrown it against marble, barely denting the beast. But, the energy blasts were hurting it, as its body flinched and winced with every strike. Whether or not it understood Yang's taunting, it didn't seem to care, as it quickly jumped off the ground with a flap of its wings to dodge Samus' missiles; twisting its body around to slash its Halbred across the ground to kick up the thick soupy ground towards them, either to drench both women in the double entendre viscous, or kick up enough dirt and debris to blind them, as moments after it would slide its Halbred across the ground to cut them in half.
It'd then aim for Koji, as its axe tail moved between its legs as it flew over his head to smash him off the balcony and over the edge to the endless abyss between the massive buildings of this city.
With all of that, it noticed as it flew around in the air a dozen feet above everyone the other new guy just across the bridge, just in front of the large gap in the middle of the bridge that separated it from the main Cathedral up ahead. It was already pissed, and it looked just as human as the others, quid pro quo: the beast flew over to him and rained down electric bolts like fire to kill him.
[Koji Kashin]
The elderly man's pupils were black and beady, if they weren't circular you would think that they're actually amphibian. But that blatant simplicity betrayed the way, even while wounded and in pain, how he closely paid attention happening in the battlefield like a keen strategist. It was easy to tell the two others were familiar and worked together in a rather natural fashion, either by pure coincidental causality or practice, probably a mix of both.
From what he could tell, they were both kekkai genkai users. The blond girl charging the stone golem enhanced her taijutsu with some sort of weapon summoning jutsu and a fire style while the other armoured figure kekkei genkai allowed for some yang release and pure charkra powered shots, or perhaps was it ninja tech? Yet he worked with Amando a foremost scientist in his field and never saw him produce something that made it's own jutsu. A closer eye would needed to be kept on such a thing.
Speaking of keeping an eye on things, the halberd tail was coming towards him, he would choose to reserve his energy and not get fancy by simply dodging to the side, luckily for him he was still a shinobi and it seemed the monster was more focused on eliminating the other guy closer to the church.
Doing more one handed hand seals his head would lean back as his cheeks puffed up in an almost comedic, frog like manner. Leaning forward a stream of what looked like oil spilled out of his mouth with strength to go and cover the side facing him of the monster.
"You two, don't touch it! It's very sticky and flammable, set it ablaze!"
[Andrew]
Andrew, though poised in a defensive stance, had not planned on getting involved in the fighting. He himself had never been to another planet or meta-plannet (the last time anyone was able to travel between meta-planets or white dwarves was over a million years before he was born), but he had studied up on his history enough to know that getting involved on a planet where you had no jurisdiction was a great way of getting arrested or starting a war. Observing the strange people fighting with strange new abilities (though the woman that had fired the energy Canon was similar to weapons he had seen), he began to analyze everyone in case they suddenly became an opponent.
He stared in awe as the strange creature made of (mostly) silicon propel into the air without any reasonable mechanisms, launching lightning out of its mouth. He did a double take on the gravity on the planet before assuming the creature had to be of bionic composition with a layer of silicon, oxygen, aluminium, sodium, and potassium over it.
He watched as it soared overhead, assaulting its foes from the skies before swerving around and locking onto him. It arched towards him fiercely, it's maw cracking with plasma...
But Andrew still wasn't ready to get involved. Though he had never been to a new planet he was trained in what to do (and what had been done in the past) if he ever found himself on one. Holding up his first and second finger, he emitted the sound of a low whistle, indicating that he was willing to cooperate and not trying to fight.
He stared up at the creature in the sky, relaxing a bit. Surely it would see his sign of peaceful surrender and turn around to finish its other conflict.
Who were the others anyway? War criminals? Terrorist-
His thoughts were interrupted as his skin screamed in agony as the supercharged ions streaked through his body. He fell to a knee as the plasma washed over him in a display of flashing lights. His sensors scrambled as they tried to return to normalcy.
His head swam and vision faded a moment, the blinding light of the yellow star causing more pain as his light adapters rebooted. He forced his eyes open, focusing on the form still circling in the air.
Alright. He had tried it the peaceful way, and every protocol in the book now pointed to fighting. Out of the two parties, one had minded their business, and one had sent three hundred million volts of electricity through his body. He didn't need any further advice on who to join.
He thought it would be difficult to stand up, knowing how much critical damage such a hit could cause; but as he stood he felt the brilliant power of the yellow sun filled him with an energy he had never felt before, and he found his systems restoring themselves hundreds of times faster than normal.
Alright.
With a quick motion he had drawn his side arm, mentally preparing for a leap. He crouched down, and using the solar power of the great star he launched himself up in the air at a blazing speed. As he neared he raised his weapon, and with the newfound strength powered by the light of a thousand of his stars he slammed his weapon into his opponent, sending it streaking down towards the ground.
As it fell he began his decent, aiming and firing a blast of absolute zero energy at his foe, nearly engulfing him. He landed easily, his shock absorbers completely eliminating the pain of fall damage, but before he could begin to feel triumphant he felt a strange emptiness ripple through him. His limbs ached, his head spun, and it felt as though every movement would send waves of pain through his body. What was going on?
Then it hit him. His systems showed signs of extreme wear and overuse. He had never hit anything at such forces- and while his body calibrated the amount of shock absorption required for each hit, the amount of energy that he used was extraordinary, and his body wasn't used to it; like plugging in an egg beater to a Dyson sphere. He felt burning sensations radiate through his body, and he was forced to take a knee as he tried to recover.
[Yang]
Now Yang would move into a faster sprint, her body leaning forward as she stares intently at the gargoyle. It takes off and she curses herself in the back of her mind. Her calculation, it seems, was a bit off. She had truly expected it to come at her. Perhaps… she is a bit TO used to fighting the Grimm. To get them to come at you, well its not that hard. They have whole intent to do damage to whatever is around them. They are true monsters. And this gargoyle, well to Yang it seems just as bad as any Grimm. And so it has to go down.
The Gargoyle, at least part of it, is suddenly coated in what looked like some kind of oily substance.
Gross.
She looks towards the new guy… well one of the new guys… and then back towards the gargoyle. Her eyes pass over Samus, knowing she has something like that in her arsenal. Something that can bring some blaze. Now her gaze snaps towards the gargoyle and she makes punching motions towards the air in front of her, and then a second time. But with that second time, 2 charges fire from her gauntlets. Combustion charges with explosive detonations. And as her shots near the gargoyle… it is nearly engulfed in… in ice? Crystal? Her shots hit that now ice armor and explodes, but not with anywhere near the damage needed to hurt it. Her shots weren't powerful, just meant to bring some fire. "Oh come on!" She cries out, throwing her hands down at her sides.
She feels her eye twitch as now she turns and she heads now in the direction of Samus and the 2 new arrivals. The one guy looks in bad shape. She slows near Andrew, not really sure if she should touch him or not. She wants to help him up… but he looks in real bad shape. She stays close to Andrew, ready to help him up as she speaks, her eyes landing on Samus. "Hey, we need to be on the same page here. One of you" she motions to the 3 of them "come up with a plan to stop that thing and get us out of here." She then looks back to Samus "Ya'll just tell me what you need done." She nods as she clenches her fist, her thick hair swaying as she does.
[GM POST]
The gargoyle, covered in Koji's oil, was unphased by it. Then Andrew hit it.
The punch landed, not only sending it flying across the bridge, but set it alight. The thing screamed out in pain, burning all over as it writhed around in pain. It's Halbred was dropped next to Samus and Yang, while its tail dangerously flailed around randomly, smashing into the ground hard enough to break the stone and send dirt flying.
[Koji Kashin]
Koji would take any chance to rest he could, he needed it to make more chakra as he was already used two jutsus in quick succession while using the rest to strengthen his body and lessen the pain. So as he dodged the tail by the skin of his teeth, he leaned against the railing grabbing his side as he just observed the situation with a heavy breath.
Though hard as he tried to focus on the situation at hand memories flashed before him, a rainy day not like this one and with allies he knew personally but never met before. They were also fighting a giant creature and it's much more dangerous master, but he saw fit to let them leave after giving them a title of his own creation "The Three Konoha Sannin." These were not his memories, he didn't know why they came to him but it wasn't the time to focus on that at the moment because this creature of stone wasn't going to let them go like Hanzo.
Forming the basic sign he would form some chakra around himself and flicker out of sight, appearing next to the dropped halberd, picking it up and using the same technique to appear to next to Andrew.
He held out the halberd to him. "Here use this, it'll augment your already apparent immense physical strength with range and power through it's leverage."
[Andrew]
Andrew could barely look up at Koji, much less react to anyone appearing next to him. Normally he might jump to asses the teleportation capabilities of the person next to him, but even turning his head made him nauseous and dizzy. Mustering strength, he stared at the man holding a sharpened steel pole out toward him. After replaying the words in his head (literally), he was able to identify the language and could mimic it in turn. Wait...Hit the thing with this?
With an effort that caused his joints to scream with protest Andrew took the steel pole and used it to pry himself up, nearly bending the item as he did so. On his meta-planet it would take weeks to recover from such a system shock, but the power of the yellow sun enabled his micro-repairbots to begin doing their work to fix the damages caused.
"This..." Andrew said quietly, testing out the new language, "This will break upon impact, will it not?" He spun the thing around and swung it. There was something odd about it, but it didn't seem spectacular. He didn't want to mention the fact that it took an effort to remain standing, nor mention that he wasn't sure how well he could launch another attack like that. He watched as his opponent seemed to be in great pain from his attack. Hopefully the others could finish it off while he recovered.
"I believe shooting will be more effective."
[Samus Aran]
Samus sighed internally as Yang asked for a plan. She usually had plans, but explaining them was something else entirely. Communication wasn't exactly one of her strong points, it was one of the reasons she worked alone; she didn't trust anyone to be capable enough.
as if on cue, one of the newcomers just stood there as a wave of the lightning from the beast just roared over him, and she groaned again, this time audibly. Though the man seemed to take in stride as he struck back with his own unfamiliar attack.
The old man spewing oil was strange, but she wasn't really surprised after all she'd seen, and simply backed off as instructed, before seeing the blonde set their opponent up in flames. Though what did come as a surprise was the same old man teleporting beside her and claiming the dropped halberd, repeating the technique and handing it to the injured one.
"Shooting it is" was all she'd say in response, opening fire once again after helpfully being provided with some space from her and the creature, alternating between three small energy blasts and a charged one to check which ones were most effective.
[Yang]
And the barrage started towards the gargoyle, it slowly seeming to be weakened more and more. As Samus starts to fire, Yang shoots off a few rounds of her own. The creature, to Yang, looks as if it were starting to backpedal a little. Now she could take possession of that halberd and do some damage. But Yang felt like she should just cut out the middle man and handle this.
Yang fires 3 more rounds and then draws her fists up. "Okay keep firing! I'm gonna go have that talk with it!" She looks towards the others with a wide grin and a wink "Keep it on defense!" And then Yang sprinted towards the gargoyle. She can feel the pressure waves from the fire coming from behind her, and she swerves ever so discretely to keep out of the path of the barrage coming from her allies.
The gargoyle seems to be taken aback, perhaps not expecting this level of fire from its prey. Or to have its halberd taken. But it sees Yang coming, and it feels rage. It now focuses on the most immediate enemy, the one right in front of it. Its tail whips around to try and sweep Yang's feet from under her, but she hops over the tail easily. She's almost insulted by that weak ass attack. But when she lands the claws of the beast come down at her, those claws meant to rend her into ribbons.
Those who would call her allies, those firing upon the Gargoyle, from their perspective they would see Yang burst into a wave of golden fire. Her hair seems to burn gold then, and her eyes shift from a calmed lilac color to crimson red. Her right fist draws back and her left hand shoots upwards.
The claws meet the gauntlet on her forearm and are stopped. Her arm dips just slightly, but holds. The jaws of the beast open as it roars and it lunges towards Yang. Yang thinks it wants to take a bite out of her, and she's cool with that. She thrusts her prosthetic hand between its jagged teeth, and it starts to bite down. And Yang shouts "Eat this!" With the sound 'KACHOOM' she fires from her right hand inside the beast's throat. Her body glows a brilliant gold for another moment, and then another 'KACHOOM' is heard as her right hand fires again inside of the beast. A shockwave seems to run through the whole of the beast, and following that shockwave its body turns to a pale gray color. Yang steps back as the fire from her body dissipates and she stares at the beast as she breathes heavily, her eyes once more their original lilac color. The gargoyle is unmoving a moment, and then its body slowly shifts from solid to ash. Yang thrusts her fist into the air, signifying victory.
She turns to look towards the others, as if to silently ask 'how cool was that?'.
But something is suddenly wrong.
As the beast crumbles to ash, an energy aura swirls around its decaying remains. And that aura swirls, and then shoots towards Yang. Wide eyed she looks back towards the now pile of ash as the aura swirls around her body, and then seems to dissipate. She looks down at her hands, seeing them glimmer a moment. "Uh…" is all she can say…
[Koji Kashin]
The man would look at the giant man with strength derived from lightning as if he was some sort of metaphor for a buff battery in human-ish form. Not to be mistaken, Koji understood where he came from, the former Kara operative knew personally that it was much more effective to stay in the back and shoot, it allowed you to control the battlefield by forcing your opponents to plat to your own tempo as opposed to theirs. He himself only went into melee range if it was a sure kill move or if he was desperate... but, it did seem like sort of a waste of potential with all that sheer on power. But he digressed, retrieving the weapon once Andrew found his balance.
"Well, considering that large stone chakra puppet was swinging it around hap hazardly I assumed that it would be constructed well enough to keep it's shape." He says as he just holds it against his shoulder, as if examining it's construction before turning away to look at the other brawny with a yellow power, who in much contrast to Andrew apparently relished in a a close combat brawl, even turning around to face them as if she was expecting a resounding round of applauds.
Walking forward he would circle Yang as they took a close look after the weird aura dissipated.
"From what that looks like you absorbed it's chakra after you destroyed it. I think you absorbed it but in the not in the way a jinchuuriki would..." Giving his prognosis he looked her in the eyes with a befuddled gaze. "You should be fine unless you're hearing any voices or feeling unnatural stone monster like tendencies." he gave her a shrug, worst case scenario he can just use the eight trigrams seal on her...
"I wanted to say that despite the nature of our unfamiliar environment you all performed great under pressure" Koji addressed the group. "I am not from around here and I'm neither are you. I don't say this lightly, but I think it's best for now we work together" He said giving them a short bow. "You can call me Koji, I hope we continue working well together."
[Andrew]
Words from the strange man next to him were met with Andrew's cold eyes; though he was not trying to be unfriendly. The darkness of his world made sight a secondary sense, and often times tone was much more important than visual cues.
Perhaps that was why when Yang, despite a spectacular display of combat abilities, took down their foe she was only rewarded with a stoic stare from Andrew. His glowing white eyes focused on the strange energy around her, diagnosing it but having no idea how it was possibl. The explanation of this Koji fellow did nothing to improve his understanding of what had happened; in fact if it had done anything it had caused even more confusion.
Still, this "chakra" wasn't even the strangest thing that he had seen in his short time in this new world. Here there was a yellow star! A real star that hadn't come close to its red giant death phase!
So while Koji addressed the team, and perhaps many looked on with awe, Andrew stared up at the sky with his light adapters working on overdrive; watching the power of the brilliant star light up the sky in a new universe. A universe that wasn't cold and dark- where planets circled around the light of a thousand white dwarves instead of floating aimlessly in the frozen void...
[Samus Aran]
Samus would nod in respect as the blonde would finish off the beast, albeit without the decorum she herself tended to handle things with, though, the nod would soon turn to a frown at the strange aura being absorbed by the woman.
It was concerning, that was for sure. Last time she'd had allies accompanying her, they'd been turned against her through Phazon, corrupted by it. Even she had dealt with its influence, which had been a struggle even for her, and while it didn't immediately seem to have the same effect as the substance, she couldn't be certain.
The bounty hunter would shake the thoughts away, simply giving the strange oil-blowing man a thumbs up for his words, before turning towards the large castle and making her way towards it.
"Take care of that strange man, I'll work on finding a way back to.. Wherever we were." She'd call back to them, patting her armcannon for the abuse she was about to put it through if that gargoyle was anything to make of the rest of the lan
[Yang]
"I absorbed it's what like a wha would?" She says in something of a dumbfounded tone as she looks down at her hands, and then up to Koji. Flexing her fingers she looks back to her hands and comments lightly. "Voices or rock monster wants. Got it." She tries to keep her tone light, as if this were no big deal. But deep down, she's a bit shaken. While she did an awesome job ending that thing, ending the threat, that weird light was just weird. To say the least. She felt a surge of energy, but she sometimes feels that anyways when she uses her Semblence. And it occurs to her… is it possible that's a new variant of her Semblence? She's never heard of such a thing… not such a radical change in your Semblence.
But then again… well she just fought a giant monster that wasn't a Grimm. So bets are off.
She gives Koji a little two finger salute as once more the blond puts a smile on her face. "Thanks Koji. I'm Yang, that's Samus." She motions to Samus with her thumb. "Me'n she are kinda a team now. Blond Bombshells, get it?" She says with a wide grin. That grin still lingering, she looks towards Andrew then. He seems a little out of it. Her eyes remain on him as Samus speaks, her gaze moving to the bounty hunter then. "Okay Koji, let's roll out." She glances toward Koji, and then she moves towards Andrew. And towards him she moves as he seems to be staring out into nothing.
"Hey man, we're movin on. Seems like you're sposed to be with us." She motions to herself as she stops before him, her other hand on her hip. "I'm Yang." she motions to the others "Samus, Koji. She's not a robot and he spits oil. I break things. Why don't ya hang out with us, huh?" She now starts to walk in the direction Samus is. And after a few feet she turns and walks backwards, motioning them to follow. "Come on guys. Ya'll wanna see me beat the snot out of everything else out there, right?" She then flexes her left arm with a grin, showing off her impressive biceps for a moment.
[Koji Kashin]
Koji had experience with spirits and how energy interacted with humans, but he had never quite seen something like this before. He took some time to get an insight on Yang who got most affected by the encounter. She seemed like a bright person but he knew from personal experience that those kinds of people could hold the most impenetrable darkness locked inside their heart.
But after the salute those worries would be dispelled, despite her seemingly bombastic and jejune personality the old man could feel an emotional stronghold that could weather a lot that only bricks mixed with maturity could make the foundation for.
At that point of peace he took a moment to look at the situation. He was in an unfamiliar, inhospitable land with an outwardly cold and detached bounty hunter who called him a strange man just after he introduced himself. A blonde girl both headstrong and strong of body who gave him PTSD about an old friend who broke both of his arms, six of his ribs, and ruptured a number of organs as punishment for being horny and a man who seemed more alien than even the ones he was familiar with.
If he was a normal person he would probably cry about how foolish and doomed this group was, but he couldn't help but break his serious character and let out a strong guffaw as he face palmed himself.
"So me and our friend who will go blind from staring in the sun will be the newest members of the "Blond Bombshells" squad? If this isn't party isn't going to be an inspiration for the most action-packed novel then I won't know what will be."
At which point he continued to stare at Andrew who kept staring at the Sun with a blank expression. "I wasn't joking by the way, you will lose your sight and stop staring directly at it."
[Andrew]
Critical damage warnings began to pile up as Andrew kept his eyes on the sky. He assumed this yellow star wasn't safe to stare at, and even with light suppressors his eyes wouldn't be able to handle it for long. His eyes danced between the blue sky, the whisps of dihydrogen monoxide, and back to the blazing ball of nuclear fusion. How did he come to be here? The feel of the wind, the yellow star, and the extreme agony he felt trying to spontaneously adjust his nerves to the new climate...it was all very real....what did it mean?
He remained stoic, still staring at the sky as the one called Yang introduced herself. Though he made no indication he had heard or was listening, he registered all the information given to him. Yang, Samus, Koji. Strange names. His had come from the Elder Archives-as far back as they could see. There was a certain irony in naming the last sentient being that would be birthed the earliest name his civilization could remember.
He finally tore his burning eyes from the star when he heard the warning of going blind. Doubtful. Any TGC (Tissue Generating Complex) would enable him to repair his damaged retinas. He stared at Koji with a sudden thought. What if there weren't any genetic complexes around here? This world had a yellow star, an atmosphere, and true life...but what didn't it have? Until he knew the technological capabilities of this place, he figured he might need to ration his supplies as best he could.
He turned and followed Koji and the rest of this...Blonde Bombshell Squad. This was probably his best chance for information and survival, no matter how strange they were. He would do what he could to aid and protect this group until he figured out more about this place. If he could get here, so could others. So could his world. He had to bring them out of the frozen void and into the light...no matter the cost.

"Hello!~" A voice echoed out to all of them from across the building to their left. They would see on a high balcony a figure that, as best can be described, was a massive onion of a man.
He was waving to them all. "Hellooooo! Can you see me?!" He was calling out.
[Andrew]
Quickly turning his head and searching for the source of the sound, Andrew scanned the buildings around him and turning on infra-vision. Instantly he recoiled, his eyes shutting rebooting while his hand covered them. The brightness was beyond anything he had ever seen, and once again he was forced to berate himself for his stupidity. This world was not the cold, desolate land that he came from. His infra-vision relied on heat, and his sensors were calibrated for a universe that was only a few hundred degrees above absolute zero, not one with a yellow star.
After regaining his composure he stared dumbly up at the balcony where he heard the second call, noticing yet another strange character. What was it with this world? He stared up at the strange creature, analyzing what he could before waiting for a sign of hostility. Despite the being's...peculiar look, he would not underestimate anyone for a second-even this...person.
[Yang]
Yang strides with the little group, a smile upon her lips. She keeps her hands down at her sides, clenched into tight fists. Because that usually quells the shaking of her left hand. It just happens sometimes, nothing overly obvious. But it's there. She doesn't realize (or want to) that it usually happens before or after a big fight.
"I kinda feel like we don't actually know where we're going. Or where we are. Anyone else?" She says as she lifts her hands and shrugs, looking to the rest of them. She is confident to do that since her hand has mostly stopped trembling.
A stranger's voice calls out… well stranger in as far as not one of this little group… and Yang is immediate to into a defensive posture. The voice came from behind them and up, she can tell that much. But her first instinct is to get on her guard and watch for an attack.
Because the leader will often make itself obvious… and then the 2 raptors Grimm you never saw swoop in from either side of you and end you. Her gaze whips around as she turns, her focused gaze watching for any movement out there.
Nothing comes, not at first. She dares a look in the direction of the voice, a frown now on her lips. Staying in her defensive stance she calls out "Friend or foe?!" then looking in the direction of the strange onion of a man out of the corner of her eyes.
[Koji Kashin]
Once the fighting had cooled off finally and everyone had a moment to relax Koji would unfortunately be greeted by waves of pain radiating from his completely broken left arm instead of a sense of relief. Due to the battle he had experienced he was able to make advantage of any battle junkie's favourite friend adrenaline to keep himself going but with that gone now he had to address it.
A good ninja didn't let the pain from a few shattered bones and the reality that you might be permanently crippled bring them down however, letting his new halberd just rest on him as he used his good arm to reach underneath his coat to start working on making a make shift splint, hiding from the rest party as to not put any more worries in any of their minds. They already had their own things to worry about and they need not know that they were in the presence of a crippled old man, Koji was much more content with carrying other's worries than his own, at least then he didn't have to admit to others that he was still weak despite everything he tried.
Still, he tried to focus on the positives like how Andrew's decision to stare at the sun seemingly came to bite him in the ass as he seemingly blinking from some sort of eye pan, Koji clicked his tongue in "I told you so" kind of way. Yang also seemed to suffer what from what he guessed to be maybe PTSD related anxiety shakes, at her young age? They needed to find a place to rest at least.
Looking up he would comment to the rest of the party with an dubious frown of his forehead.
"Is this guy going to be the kind of nice eccentric guy who tries to make the world a better place by embracing who he truly is and doing the same to others or a bad guy megalomaniac manipulator who pretends to be the aforementioned to lure into a false sense of security? It's too hard to tell these days...tsk." He wanted some sake.

"Friend, I hope!" The knight shouted back, before the ground beneath them began to shake.
The golden glow of the city was dimmed by a slow lack of sunlight, like it was being blocked out by clouds.
The ground began to crack as well, green light illuminating out. And if this wasn't ominous enough, Yang and Samus started to lightly, but noticeably, glow green. Their clothes, skin, and equipment all tinted with a light, dim green.
"Oh dear," The knight muttered to himself as he watched this all unfold, "You better get along quickly! There's a platform below you over the edge of the bridge, head down there and climb up the building to reach here!"
Indeed, there was a little platform below them, reaching all around the tower they arrived in. When they reached down it on the left side, there was a buttress low enough to climb onto and walk along up to the balcony where the knight was.
[Koji Kashin]
Okay so he was probably a nice guy Koji thought to himself as he got the response from the round armoured man, surely no one so ovoid and jolly could betray them for their own benefit, it would just be wrong. Even if he was a bad guy they didn't have to go up to them, there was nothing pressuring them into listening to him after all they just removed the threat that the gargoyle was just mere seconds ago-
Life tended to be ironic he supposed as he looked up at the sky shattering from an unnatural tsunami of lighting that pulled a blind of clouds over the sun, removing one of the nice things that made this strange place bearable. It was still nicer than the village of the hidden rain though, at least here it didn't constantly rain to the point where the place was forced to be built above the water level.
As the ground began to crack with green light the Ninja simply hopped his feet off the ground, balancing himself perfectly on the top of the halberd like a monkey as he then stared blankly as Samus and Yang glew.
"Well okay, that either means you're okay and this guy who has yet to introduce himself are going to die or me and this guy are fine and this is a prophecy for your doom." He paused and he thought about it, scratching the back of his head he was already tired.
"If any of you don't trust your ability to jump down to the platform let me know, I'll body-flicker you to it, like this." He said as Koji's figure appears to jitter before disappearing and appearing on the platform. He would help those who needed down like that and if no one needed it he would just start going up the path to the knight.
[Yang]
The odd man elevated on the balcony calls out and Yang looks in his direction discretely. Her stance begins to relax a little as now her full gaze moves towards the knight, nodding in agreement with Koji's sentiment.
And then the ground started to shift below their collective feet. The sudden awful sounds, the offensive light show and lack of warning is enough to make Yang lose her balance. She falls right on her ass with a "ooomph!" her knees drawing up as she supports herself on her hands. She stares up at the sky in awe and fear, her lilac eyes wide. Towards the buildings she looks then, seeing things are beginning to go dark. "What is this?!" She cries out, scrambling to her feet when the ground begins to form cracks.
Her eyes snap towards her odd assortment of companions to make sure they were okay. And that's when she points towards Samus "Hey do you do that alot? You're like…" she blinks and sees her outstretched hand, which glows in a similar way as Samus' form does. Her hand lowers as she looks down at herself. "What in the fu-" her final words are drowned out by the sound of trembling and breaking earth. She looks up towards the knight as he gives instructions, and she looks towards Koji once more. "Prophecy of our doom?! What the hey man!?" Koji flickers out, and now Yang looks towards the others, and then to Samus. "Come on!" Without hesitating now she goes into a quick sprint and leaps right over the edge, and can't help herself. "WOOHOOO" she calls out as she falls. She pumps her fists forward and her gauntlets fire, sending her back right onto the small platform. Following Koji, she is quick to ascend also.
[GM POST]
The knight laughed as both Koji and Yang made such impressive entrances onto the balcony where he was. "I say, what marvelous sorcery from both of you!" He applauded. "I am Siegmeyer of Catarina. Quite honestly, I'm in a bit of a pickle. You see inside this cathedral?" He pointed through the broken window that lead inside the building, where they could see it lead to another balcony overlooking the whole place.
It was massive in size, a 50 foot drop to the bottom from where the balcony was, and against the back wall was a ladder that lead up the only way to cross it.
"Narrow scaffolding. One misstep, and the fall will surely squish us into flatbread. It's the only way get to the other side of this bridge. And... well, my armor is not build for such a tight-walk." Siegmeyer explained. "But then I saw you all fight off that strange armored warrior, then defeat the gargoyle! And with how you approached me, then I say you might be able to help me cross to the other side! If you're willing to lend a hand, that is."
[Koji Kashin]
"Right there are ways for us to get you across most definitely." The ninja said with a tentatively cautious tone as he squinted at the happy and jolly onion shaped knight. "I could do the flicker step with you across, but that'll leave me tired for a bit and conversation of energy until we find a safe haven seems like a necessity." He said as he looked inside at the scaffolding then looked up at the ceiling.
Without any further deliberation he would step through the broken window and do a 180 flip on the ceiling, his feet clasping to the roof like they were magnetic. Koji turning around casually at the others. "I can go ahead and check it out without spending my chakra and without potentially damaging the scaffolding. What do you guys think?"
The input of team blonde bombshell was important to him.
