It was getting late.
Ark glanced at the clock, frowning. Where was his replacement? His shift was almost over. It's not like they had many patrons at this time of night, anyway. He sighed and continued wiping down the already clean bar.
The bar was small and dimly lit. The only customers there weren't exactly the chatty type. Looked like it'd be another boring night where he had to work late.

Jade walked into a nearby bar wearing her jeans and a red v-neck T-shirt, her waist length blonde hair framing her face. Her bright blue eyes stood out as she sat down at the bar. "A martini please." She said ordering the first drink that came to mind and rubbing the bridge of her nose lightly with her thumb and forefinger. It had been a long day at work and she was tired.
