The 42 conspiracy: Impossible Questions

Because they do not like the idea that they (the ridiculeer) might be wrong, or they simply do not know what they believe or believe it strongly enough to be able to take the criticism and communicate their point of view in a rational manner. Their is also the possibility that the other person's idea is conceived purely in faith and the idea that someone could believe something without facts proves troublesome . . . there are a number of other possibilities I could list here, but what it really comes down too is a simple refusal to attempt to see things from the other person's perspective.

Why is it that humans feel the need to create? i.e. wright stories, sculpt, paint, build model railroads, etc. What is it about pulling an idea from our minds and giving it shape that's so satisfying?
 
Because the species that didn't feel the need to create aren't around to argue with us about the importance of innovation. The victors write the history books, after all, and we're coming in first in the species race so far.

Why are fingernails so pretty and awesome but toenails so ugly and useless?
 
People take better care of their hands, which are allowed to breath, are washed regularly, are kept from splitting and breaking and such. And then people put their feet in shoes and socks all day, and make their poor toenails weak and waterlogged, and probably infected with bacteria and such. Stupid shoes.

What is there where there is naught, no death nor life, nor traces of the same?
