Liliana laid there in an annoyingly helpless state, becoming slightly more able to move, but not by too much. A burning sensation still coursed itself through her wings, making them practically useless for the time being. She stayed silent as Ri spoke to her, hoping that he wasn't expecting her to respond. Her mind forced her body to try to make some type of action, even if it was a simple hand gesture. "Ri..?" she finally managed to whisper. "A...are you alright..?" She'd been trying to see how he was holding up through the entirety of the sudden event.

Shielding her eyes, the fairy reached up toward him to place a hand against his shoulder. Ri looked and seemed to be fine, but she knew that wasn't the case. Lowering her hand back to her side, she contemplated what was going to happen from here. Neither of them appeared to know where they were and she didn't even know how long she'd remain motionless, though she utterly hoped that it wouldn't be too much longer. Her dear grandmother appeared in her mind, she must have been worried sick by now if she hadn't been before. Given her condition, Liliana wondered if she'd be able to even make it long enough to get home.

Zach thought he heard something as he opened his eyes. And when he looked she was trying to talk to him. It was odd that her first concern was his well being. But then again there wouldn't be much to say about herself he guessed. Though someone else might have said how much it sucked, or how horrible it was. Maybe even hated him. He shook his head slowly, she was weird. Zach nodded, out of response before he spoke. "Yeah. I'm fine." It wasn't long before Zach started to notice that she was moving. Not fluent nor big movements, slight subtle things.

Zach soon felt her hand on his shoulder, and he placed a hand over hers. A simple gesture to show things were going to be okay. He wasn't sure that they were, but he figured if they had made it this far, what was going to kill them now? He patted her hand before removing his own. "Get some sleep. You need it." He said as he closed his eyes again. He wasn't trained to sleep in these conditions. Shaking his head he believed he would have to rely on Liliana more than he wanted. "My actual name is Zachari. Ri is just the last two letters. Call me whatever you want." He said exasperatedly.

She released her hand from him as he set his down, nodding at his suggestion for sleep. Managing to shift her head and look at him, Liliana gave Zach a light smile. "Okay... 'Zach'.." She said with a weak giggle. Slowly but steadily, she rolled to her side, trying to get herself to sleep. This definitely wasn't what she had expected to come out of the day, but at least she wasn't alone. It was slightly comforting to had someone by her side, even if the other person really wasn't too thrilled with everything. Eventually, she began to shut her eyes and fell asleep.

--Awakening, the mage noticed she was surrounded by nothing. There was no scenery, no other beings, nothing. The next thing she noticed was that she was able to move, indicating to her that she was entranced in a dream. Nay, a nightmare she knew all too well. As she was quickly surrounded by a bitter darkness. Panicking, she jumped, spreading her wings and taking to the nonexistent skyline. Liliana's eyes swam through the air around her, leaving her unable to tell if she was actually going anywhere or if she was just losing her mind. Looking underneath her, she saw a glowing demonic eye that had opened up, showcasing the dead carcasses of her loved ones as puppets. Puppets used to destroy each other even further. She knew what it meant, her family are puppets of the war. Though she knew what this dream was from having experienced it many times, it didn't eliminate the growing fear she had as the puppets neared her, attempting to kill the fairy.--

Liliana shook horribly in her sleep, forcing her arms at her side to hold herself. Her wings twitched anxiously, bringing her the same stinging sensation she'd felt earlier that day. A practically silent whimper escaped her body, as she froze in that position. The only movement Liliana was capable of was the fierce shivering as she grew more afraid.

Having just laid his head against the wall, he found that he was in and out of sleep, and he couldn't do much about it. When he caught himself dozing off he would reprimand himself, and try the multiple activities he was taught to do when tired. Over and over again he pictured action, over and over again he ran in place. Everything just seemed to make him more exhausted, but what could he expect he survived a bomb, After pondering it for a few moments Zach decided, if he could survive a bomb, he could take one night to sleep in enemy territory. Then he heard struggle from the person nearest him. Opening his eyes he looked at Liliana, the dream, he guessed, wasn't a good one.

He wanted to wake her and save her from her torment, but he couldn't get himself to move, his body demanded sleep, and so upon trying to stand up to help, he found himself in a deep dark pit. The pit was his sleep, and it seemed that over and over again he pictured the world being blown to pieces. Everything was different. He died. This was the after-world. Heaven? Hell? Outer darkness? He dreamed about fire and screaming, he dreamed about a unshakable darkness. He seemingly walked through each dream with ease, the only thing being torn apart, being picked at, was his mind. He could feel himself slowly going insane, unable to piece together reality.

Waking wasn't enjoyable for Zach, because he felt like he was a stone. His body was heavy, his limbs wanted to remain where they were. He felt as though he weighed a ton and moving was impossible. He tried to laugh, believing he was still in his dream. Another form of hell, he thought. But eventually, after much concentration he could feel the blood flow returning to his hands, and his limbs. He managed to move, realizing he was agonizingly sore from the past day's events. After making it passed the obstacle of waking up, his attention focused on Liliana, as he heard someone walk in. At first he stood guard, ready to attack, but held himself back, as he remembered where he was, and that it was probably just the doctor.

She continued shaking viciously, needing someone to pull her from her torturous slumber. Liliana awoke sometime later, still petrified as if she were still in the midst of her sleep. Managing to move her head, she first looked up to Zach, who probably didn't know she'd awoken yet. Hearing a sudden creak, the fairy-mage's attention quickly and anxiously shifted to the door. The girl wasn't sure why she was nervous, where they were seemed to be a safe place. Even still, Liliana knew that she was vulnerable, especially since she was numb and immobile. There was no possible way for her to defend herself and she didn't even know what kind of condition Zach was in. Anxiety was washed away by great relief when another doctor entered the room. She sighed deeply.

The doctor walked immediately to Zach, seeing as he was the more capable of the two. Both of them began talking, but Liliana couldn't make out what exactly was being said. Shrugging it off, she managed to turn herself over and laid comfortably. Sleep didn't seem like it would happen, but that was natural for her it seemed. Out of boredom, the girl traced the corners of the room with her eyes, feeling a strange sense of confusion. Something seemed off to her about where they were, it didn't seem like the same place it was before the bomb went off. Liliana continued to wonder what it was that threw her off, even as the doctor left the room and Zach had appeared to have fallen asleep. The girl spent the remainder of the night thinking, hoping to find out what it was.

Sharing a few words with the doctor, the conversation didn't last long. Zach was questioned about his condition, and the condition he thought Liliana was in. It was easy, he was sore, not really hurt as far as he could tell. There was no internal bleeding, nothing that was falling off of him, he wasn't even sure there was a broken bone in his body. He was fine. Just needed rest. Then commenting on Liliana's condition was different; she still seemed immobile aside from slight movements. It worried Zach, but the doctor assured him she would get better with time. Glancing over, Zach saw her back, she was facing the wall. At the least she managed to roll over. She was probably sleeping.

The doctor left them to get the well needed rest, commenting that he would wake them in the morning and get them some food. Food. Zach hadn't thought about that. He was really hungry, and food would be exactly what would hit the spot. Maybe Liliana could eat too, she needed it, maybe more than he did. Slumping against the wall and sliding down Zach closed his eyes. He listened for a long time before deciding he should get back to sleep. Morning would be approaching soon and he wanted to be well-rest for the day ahead. Where were they? What were they going to do? Were the questions that nagged at the back of his mind. He still had a job to complete, money to collect, and a home to return to..
