I can't say. It's like picking a favorite child.
For years, Jump City served as a proving ground for young heroes attempting to make it on their own. However, one team of these heroes towered above all the rest...

679b258adbb7af8e14b0b7e52556565ca1ae3c70_hq.jpg

Of course, that was a bit over 20 years ago now. While the Teen Titans all get together every other Friday for drinks and video games, the team has been disbanded for several years as the lives of each individual team member pulled them in different directions. Cyborg was called up to join the Justice League, and Robin found a real calling in Bludhaven. Starfire followed him there, supporting him in his endeavor to distance himself from his mentor under a new name: Nightwing. Raven and Beast Boy stuck around Jump City for a time, but wound up leaving after a gang war wiped out the majority of Jump City's old criminal underworld, causing crime rates to plummet. With so few people in need of saving, it was in the city's best interest for the two of them to leave. Now the two of them serve in a fashion more akin to adventurers than traditional superheroes, wandering Earth and other worlds together with the intent to help people and solve problems.

Of course, peace can't last in a place like Jump City. It's a cape city, a place where superheroes and super-villains flock to so they can make a name for themselves. The lights in the T-shaped tower out in Jump City Bay haven't been on in years, but the last couple nights they've been shining just as brightly as they used to. Someone has been kicking around in there, doing who knows what.

Making trouble, most likely. And when there's trouble, you know who to call.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That's the short of it, basically. Jump City is in need of some new Teen Titans to defend it from various threats. Expect to see a couple of old time legacy villains to make appearances in some capacity or another, primarily as boss-level foes, since even the least threatening of them would have decades of experience and time to learn the ins and outs of their abilities. There are plenty of new foes too, unknown factors in the growing criminal underworld of Jump City. With so much spandex in one place, who knows what could happen?

This, this is what happened: CLOSED SIGNUPS - Titanic Teenagers Toppling Tyranny IC

I'm not a guy who makes a lot of demands of people. Follow the site rules and don't be a dick, and everything should go smoothly. Standard good etiquette stuff applies, don't godmod without permission. This isn't a star RP, so if things could be kept rated R instead of X, that would be groovy. If everyone involved could post at least once a week, that would be great. I know real life gets in the way sometimes, so just be sure to let us know if/when you can't make it. I'll setup a posting order if people need/want one. For character sheets, please fill them out in full. Images aren't required, but I appreciate having them around, be they art or photographs.

I assume at least a few of you are interested in playing as the children of various Teen Titans, and that's totally cool. They're going to be first come, first serve. If two people come to an agreement and want to play siblings or something, that's cool though. I'd appreciate it if everyone stuck with the implied shipping I did above, but I'm not going to be broken up about it either way.

So, as mentioned by me in the search, this RP will use a sort of blend of the Teen Titans show and the greater DCAU, since they only clash around Wally West, and in a way that's fairly easy to handwave. The Teen Titans are considered more of a street level team, at least by DC standards, which mostly means they only go into space or other dimensions for special occasions. If you've watched Teen Titans, and you've watched the Justice League cartoons, you've seen everything you need to and then some.

Other stuff worth noting: Slade got thoroughly whipped by the Titans sometime after the show ended, and has been biding his time ever since. Waiting for the perfect moment to step back into the light with a new apprentice.

She keeps her head hidden but always has black cat ears. Like her mother their is a chakra stone on her forehead. Angela's is violet. Now those of you who have watched the show and know about the very first comics Raven has grey skin. Her daughter does not. Beastboy in everything *minus the 52 no one talks about* he is green. Once more Angela looks human well her grandmother is a human, and both of Garfield's parents are human all of white skin. Angela Azar Logan happened to pick up this genetic trait and looks normal in skin color. (Side effect of not fully having her father's abilities)

The hooded shawl is instead of a cloak, she won't wear the hood as often as Raven but has it encase of the need for stealth. Yes there is a gun yes she can use it. Her aim is alright but there hasn't been any Titan with a gun to train her Angela learned from going to a shooting range and practicing after getting the proper training in using a hand gun. (She's not the best hand to hand combat is something she's better at than shooting something)

Brief History: Born the daughter of Raven Ariella Roth and Garfield Mark Logan. Angela Azar Logan is in many ways like her parents and wants to do good in the world. She has learned much from both parents. She has met her grandmother Ariella and has only heard stories of her grandfather Trigon and her grandparents Mr and Mrs. Logan. She's also meet those of the Doom Patrol and has learned some about the why she has in her name both Angela and Azar.

Angela has seen the life of a hero first hand. Often watching her parents work sometimes on family visits. She has trained under the same monks as her mother and even has had first hand lessons on her abilities by Raven. Once she was old enough to be more on her own she asked her parents to allow her to live in Jump City. Angela has been stopping some crimes in near by towns and even jump city but never to the extend of saving many lives or even worlds. She hopes to one day show her parents the darkness that still haunts her family is nothing she shall fear. She strives to prove she is capable of being a hero just like her parents.

Angela has only been trying her hands at being a hero for three years now.l She's been keeping up school for that was one of the promises she had made to her parents. Finally, she's graduated and free to take a break from school.

Personality: Angela is an introvert. She doesn't talk much to people she just meets but likes to often keep to herself and read a good book. But she does have a sense of humor and is a big fan of corny jokes. Angela is creative and enjoys thinking out of the box. She just doesn't always share the ideas she may come up with out loud because she can be so shy. Angela is brave and willing to risk her life for family and friends. She is very loyal to those she considers her friends. Angela isn't one to give out trust easily it's something she feels people must earn. She's learned that from those of Azerath.

Now Angela doesn't have a great hold on her anger. She can become reckless and might even hurt those she cares about. Like her mother her anger sometimes seems to be a key to the demons that live inside her.

Skills:
Hand-to-Hand combat-Has trained with her parents and learned some martial arts
Stealth-she's pretty good at entering a room and no one knowing she's there. Has scared her dad a few times and gotten the uper hand on some minor villains.
Drawing-she's pretty skilled at drawing pictures
Reading- Angela has learned how to read many difficult text, including her mother's ancient scrolls

Powers:
One power Angela has is she can turn into a full cat or any feline animal. But only those in the cat kingdom

Raven (Character) - Comic Vine
Soul Self/Darkness Manipulation: Like Raven Angela is able to conjure and project darkness from her body, usually in the guise of her soul-self, an astral projection in the shape of a shadowy bird that she can use to see through and manipulate objects. Though the soul-self is normally intangible, it can be disrupted by magic and concentrated sound.

Empathy: Angela can feel the emotions of others, she could manipulate those feelings to her will. But this is an advanced ablity Angela does not yet know the full extent of. She mainly just has to focus on ignoring what she picks up from others for they can sometimes seem to have an effect on her own emotions.

Psionics: Angela can read the minds of others but this ability is very weak and she has to be allowed in to someone's mind.

Teleportation: Angela can teleport herself and others to any location as long as she knows the coordinates of that location. Which means she needs to know the latitude and longitude before she teleport somewhere.

Magic: Angela is able to perform magical spells, much of these have been taught to her from her mother. One very useful skill from magic is healing. But their is a bit more to it than just magic and the side effect is that Angela feels all of the pain those she is healing has been afflicted by. Another very useful skill is levitation.

Shifting into the animal Kingdom- Angela's father is Garfield. Everyone may know him more as Beastboy and his famous ability to shift into any animal he desires. This including those from other planets. Angela can not shift into animals from all of the Animal Kingdom and those of other worlds. She seems to only be able to shift into cats. Tiger, Lion, house cats, Panther. The color minus a Tiger are always black. Tiger's is the famous white tiger. Why only cat's well she has more of Raven's powers and was lucky to get any part of Beastboys. The side effect is she will always have cat ears. No turning that feature off.

Soul Self-This is the source of all Raven's powers. Meaning this is the source of all of Angela Azar Logan's powers. Describing the soul self ability is difficult so bare with me and feel free to ask questions.

Soul Self is the soul of it's caster. A piece of their soul can be used to move, and manipulate objects. This is the ability that allows the caster to go through walls, can fly, teleport to locations. The evidence of this power being used is either glowing eyes, darkness surrounding hands, or even the change in shape of the caster's body. Raven's is truing into a bird, which Angela has learned to take on the same form if she is teleportation to a new location. Healing also is connected to the soul self, this is why Raven and Angela feel the pain after healing others the pain goes into their soul temporarily. When the physical body takes a lot of damage it is the power of their soul self that works on mending wounds and is the reason in the show Raven was knocked out after dealing with the Beast that is now forever inside of Garfield.

Empathy-This one I have slowly begun to understand more from the comics than the cartoon. In the show Raven isn't fond of parties, she can temporarily see the truth of Terra's return. That is because of this ability. Being an Empathy for Raven comes with a price just like it does Angela. The ablity is from her demonic father along with the soul self. Except this one Raven is still having a hard time controlling what she does.

Empathy Raven can feel the emotions of others, sometimes hear their thoughts. She has even helped her friends by trying to change how they feel to help them no longer feel the pain of loss. Angela too could do all of this. But their is a price that is unseen. Once more this is an advanced power and it took time in the comics for Raven to understand what she was doing.

The side effect by the demons that live inside is that the feed on negative energy. The more some feels fear, hate, anger the more the demon shows. If you've seen the show think of Doctor Light and how he is now terrified of Raven. The more the demon feeds the more it will take over the light inside of Raven or Angela.

Psionics: reading someone's mind, their thoughts, this easily ties in to the Empathy. But Angela has to be allowed in. The reason the ablity will form a bond with that person. This is the reason Raven has a bond with Robin aka Nightwing aka Dicky Grason. Now the bond is not always the case if she manages to see into their mind and wasn't welcome she will only see a glimpse and be forced out. The other end is that anyone trying to get into her mind she would not easily be taken over, or let them in to take just any information they desire.

Teleportation: Angela can go litearly anywhere and everywhere. Any place, any town, any world. She simply needs and has to understand one thing. Coordinates, her soul self can take Angela anywhere she desires as long as she knows the location. She must know a locations area based on coordinates and she must know the difference of each coordinate type. She doesn't know the exact place on the world map where something is well guess what. You won't be going anywhere except right where you first tired to leave.

Magic- This is a tricky one. Alright so because Raven and Angela both have demonic powers from Trigon. The simplest way to explain is they have access to abilities people who are basically scourers, witches, wizards, warlocks have. (I do not know the technical term sorry) Being they have access all they need is a spell, totem, runes, candles, sand usual ingredients. The famous saying that most Azerathians who can concurs magic and especially must control that magic learn a phrase, a matron Azerath, Metrion, Zinthos. Those three words are often used by Raven and will be by her daughter for spells, and anything that requires great concentration. Over time those who know a famous spell that becomes easy don't always have to speak a spell out loud this does not mean they do not still say it.

Weaknesses: Angela must keep a hold of her emotions just like her mother. Angela is no exception to being at risk of a demon's control her powers all rely on her emotions. The more she feels the stronger the powers but those emotions that increase her powers strength can be positive or negative.

Anger issues-she doesn't have a great hold on her anger and it can take a while to get the control back. She is known to lash out and do things she will regret.

(Edit: I added more description hope it makes things clearer)

Name: Bryan Gonzales

Alias: Big Gulp

Age: 16

Height: 5'8"

Weight: 160 lbs

Physical Description:

img053.jpg

Brief History:

It is difficult, growing up in Jump City when you're the son of a single mother, especially after Jump City was all but abandoned by its heroes. Bryan never had a chance to meet, or to live in the city during its golden years under the watchful eye of The Titans, but he knows things are worse now. Perhaps Bryan's resentment towards the Teen Titans was derived from his mother's apparent fascination with them; she would soothe him to sleep as a child with stories of the superheroes' exploits, before she left for work. Bryan's mom, Maria, worked night shifts, nursing… or so he'd believed for all of twelve years.

In the meantime, Bryan had had to get about with his own resources. It's tough being the child of a single mom. It's tougher yet when you're a boy; you have to be the man of the house, and 'your mom' jokes are never allowed to slide without consequence. It's tougher yet once you find out your mom dances to put food in your mouth. And it is especially tough when there is no one to help you navigate through the weird that is figuring out you have superpowers. You didn't think that'd be something to gloss over, did you?

Bryan first learned he had superpowers when he was in elementary school, subconsciously at least. He had been taking a test, he was nervous because he hadn't studied, and he had begun chewing on his eraser. As he struggled to try to fill in the blanks before him and fiddled with his test, he hadn't noticed that the palm of his hand was erasing the graphite answers as he rubbed against the test sheet. He failed that test. A freak incident, he'd thought, until it happened. Tired of pizza, his mom had ordered chicken wings one night for dinner, he woke up later that night in cold sweat, feeling dizzy, confused, strange, and uncovered his blanket to reveal… an egg.

Personality:
  • Bold - Bryan generally has a bold personality. He is confident, courageous, and is willing to take risks in spots where many others might not. He is not likely to back down from a fight, and hates to appear in any way shape or form to be afraid of anything sometimes to his own detriment.
  • Serious - Another important facet to Bryan lies on his constant ability to get himself into fights. He doesn't let any slights slide without consequence, no matter how apparent of imagined. He believes that in order to prove his own masculinity, he can't be appear to be silly.
  • Dismissive - "You don't know my life, ok" is something you'll hear a lot of from Bryan, especially when it comes to defending a course of action that he is set on taking. It's a defense mechanism of sorts; if your friends can't understand what you've been through, their advice is not needed.

Skills:
  • Brawler - Bryan has been in his share of fights over the years, he is comfortable with the idea of punching people and getting punched in the face even if he doesn't have much in the way of technical combat training.
  • Streetsmart - Growing up in the slums Bryan has had to familiarize himself with Jump City's underbelly. He knows how to navigate his way around unsavory places, and more importantly, he knows how to fit in.
  • Creative - Bryan's superpower seems to have some amount of variation based on his conscious thought process. Throughout his familiarization process, Bryan has been able to manipulate these variations to suit his needs.

Power:

Power to eat anything and physically manifest some aspect of said object or foodstuff.

  • Caveat: the exact power manifestation is determined consciously or subconsciously by Bryan.
  • Examples: Eat knife → turn arm into sword. Eat steak → gain bull's strength.
Weaknesses:
  • Inexperience - Even though Bryan has had some years now to familiarize himself with his powers, he still has a ways to go to understand exactly how best to maximize their use.
  • Hot-headedness - When you grow up in the slums you have to be like Han Solo and shoot first, in his guise as a superhero, this may come to bite Bryan in the ass some day.
  • Digestion - Bryan's manifestations are temporally limited by his digestive process. Once he's finished digesting said object, he is unable to manifest its power, and he is only able to manifest a single power at a time. Time for digestion varies from a couple of minutes to a couple of hours depending on Bryan's physical and power exertion.

Theme Song:
Name:
Kevin North

Hero Name:
Blitz (Formerly Kid Flash)
Age:
17
Height:
5'7
Weight:
135 lbs
Physical Description:
exodus_of_uhuru__legend_of_the_windriders_by_madstanlee-d65hdgc.jpg

Brief History:
Kevin is the son of The Flash...of Earth 23. His story begins when he was 10 years old. One day Earth 23's Flash family encountered a being known as All-Speed, a speedster with an obsession to steal the speed of all speedsters. To protect Kevin, The Flash hid him on another Earth. His Father said he'll come for him one when he defeated All-Speed, but his Father never came. Now stranded on unknown Earth, Kevin was forced to survive on his own. Lucky for him, he was a natrual born speedster which made being a shoplifter and all around thief easy.

For 3 years Kevin lived on the streets of Central City taking what he wanted to survive. Even if you thought he did something, you couldn't prove it, Kevin was too fast. Life wasn't perfect, he had troubles but life wasn't terrible. He could always get money and buy a hotel with the help of an older homeless person. He was also friendly with plenty of people like night workers who would let him stay at their homes or shelter if he was desperate.

Eventually, Kevin was caught stealing by this world's Flash and was chased around the entire city. Kevin was eventually caught and questioned about his powers. He informed Wally West, the Flash that he was from another Earth and he was waiting for his Father. Kevin was taken under Flash's wing as a sidekick and together they fought crime. They never were able to find Kevin's Earth and Kevin never saw his Father again.

Recently Kevin and Wally have been butting heads. Kevin grew fed up with being told how to do things and quit being his sidekick. He dropped the name Kid Flash and took on the name Blitz instead.

Personality:
He is a self-described chill guy, not working up a sweat over things or starting a conflict without reason. He is pretty lenient with criminals and operates on a 3 strike system with young petty thieves. He is harder on adults but cut them a break if they can give him a good story. When Kevin is called intelligent, he chuckles and says he just thinks faster the most people. He doesn't rush in on emotions, finding that is a good way to get yourself and others hurt. He's friendly with others, but hates know it alls and controlling people. He has a love for sarcasm and a raunchy or dark humor. Kevin believes in handling situations with diplomacy rather than violence if avoidable.

Skills:

Street Smarts - He understands the average criminal mind, from hookers to drug dealers. He understands how they do business and the language they use. He has the knowledge needed to maneuver the streets without looking like a fish out of the water. If need be, he can talk like them and walk like them for undercover missions.

Hand-to-Hand Combatant - Train to fight by the Flash, he is no pushover. He may not know a specific style, but he knows a mix of boxing, MMA, and whatever else he picked up on from other heroes. He learned how to deconstruct an opponent from Wonder Woman, a very special memory for Kevin.

Powers:
Speed Force - Super Speed - He can currently reach up to Mach 1 or a little beyond. He tends to keep it below the speed of sound, since breaking the sound barrier around people isn't a good idea. He can vibrate his molecules to pass through things, but that requires focus and can only do it for a few seconds. When using the Speed Force, it appears as yellow lighting coming off his body.

Weaknesses:
For some reason, his body suffers internal damage from prolonged use of the speed force. He and Wally suspect it has something to do with him not being from this earth and tapping into a speed force that isn't his. (Note: I know the speed force is the same everywhere but I needed some sort of weakness)

He can not phase through energy, so a force field is an actual wall to him. Same goes for a ray blast, he needs to dodge if he doesn't want to get hit.

Hero Costume:
Suit A - A black and red costume with a thunderbolt beginning on his right shoulder going down to his chest to the left. His lower half is mostly black with red on his knees feet and red lines. His upper half is red with black sleeves and red gloves. His cowl is black with red lines and thunderbolt ornaments on the side of his ears.

Vincent Hale

6417a0fc01012cdae9b7df0bdc762d46_1.png
Pseudonym: ParCore

Age
: 18yrs

Height
: 5'10" (177.5 cm)

Weight
: 160lbs (72.57kg)

Physical Description: Vincent dyed his originally brown hair red the moment his manager said he could. Though his manager did get quite a bit of shock when he showed up for work with half his hair shaved off and thunderbolts carved into the remaining fuzz. During his shift he'll take out most of his earrings but otherwise he was an eyebrow piercing, a couple of helix, one anti-tragus, and a few lobe piercings (meaning he has a lot of ear piercings), and a set of snake bites.

While he would love to say his necklace is near and dear to him along with some heartbreaking and dramatic backstory, it's just something he picked up at the local mall because he liked the color. He adorns three bracelettes on his left wrist. Again, just something he picked up rather cheaply somewhere along the way. Despite his love for flashy jewelry, his fashion choices are often rather plain and simple (shirt, pants, maybe a button up over an undershirt).

His natural eye color is blue. He just likes how the red contact lenses look. Of course he doesn't wear them while he's working. A blooming lotus is tattooed on his left shoulder that extends to his neck and over his chest, and as much as he would like to say he was drunk when he made the decision, he got it because it wasn't a tattoo he'd seen very often (and it reminds him of his mom).

Brief History: Vincent grew up with a witch mother who runs her own flower shop. Not the super kind of witch but the kind that will mix you teas to improve your mood and give you stones to chase away nightmares. He believes in witchcraft but not an actual practioner himself. On the other hand, his father is a cop with the thing he also has. A good guy if a bit worn down by his job. He made sure Vincent knew how to defend himself and knew his limits while doing so.

When it came to school Vincent was a pretty shitty student. In fact, his principal suggested he enter a program and get his GED instead. Which, he did. By no means did this mean he was dumb, he just had trouble focusing and actually doing his homework when there was something more interesting to do. No matter, he now works as a barista at the local coffee shop living a normal life seeing people of various fatigue and self importance walk in and out of glass doors. He actually does like his job and takes comfort in the routine, but that doesn't mean he wished for adventure any less.

Then there was that thing. The thing that was pretty interesting in early life but lost it's novelty as he grew older. The thing that made him sign up for the local karate program just to see if he can and take on parkour on his down time because it came so easy to him. You know, the thing he got from his father. While Vincent would love to say his childhood was pretty average this thing set him apart from the rest of regular old humanity, but didn't put him on the radar of the supers.

Yeah, that thing.

Despite its lack of flashiness he wants to know if he could do hero work and make his old man proud. You know, give back to the community. But mostly just to see if he can do it; if he can cut it. Plus, barista by day, hero by night just sounds interesting.

Personality: His father raised him to believe in humanity and to help others within his personal capabilities and that's what he believes he should do. But he never had an interest of becoming a cop. He gets why people are attracted to men in uniforms but he can't see himself fading into the background with every other cop on the force. Just another person to walk through glass doors. He got a taste of that being a barista. He doesn't exactly know what he wants from life but fading into the background? That's not it.

Vincent's not loud but he does like wearing flashy things and taking opportunities to show off his capabilities. Comfortably confident without arrogance is how he would describe himself. It's a fine line but he knows how to walk fine lines. Well, under most circumstances anyway. He can't help but to get a little head of himself around kids or people who believe their just naturally better than everybody else. If you're going to claim to be better at least back it up. He finds these types of people the best to test his capabilities on.

At first glance he comes off as cool and collected but really? Get to know him a bit and he's kind of a dork, fairly easy to fluster, and doesn't mind having a little fun. Though, his solutions to problems can either be pretty straight forward or unorthodox. His curiosity can get the best of him and can stray into morbid fascination if left unchecked. In the end, he does like seeing just how many things he can pick up without even trying and the same interest extends to those around them with powers. Just how far do their abilities extend? What makes them tick?

Skills: Quick Reflexes, Excellent Balance, Extremely Flexible, Self Defense, Disarming Small Weaponry, Shooting, Parkour, Karate, Preparing Teas, Preparing Specialty Coffee Drinks, Handling Difficult People, Ninja Running,

Powers: Vincent has the ability to rapidly respond or change by adapting his initial stable configuration. In short, he has enhanced agility that allows him to do things like parkour with little practice or prior experience.

Weaknesses: His enhancement doesn't actually affect his speed or strength and he can't perform beyond his body's limitations in these areas. Furthermore, his muscles might be resilient to strain without proper stretching but he can still be injured by unforseen environmental hazards.

He's got a lot of nervous energy and finds sitting still and waiting difficult. He fidgets a lot, bouncing his legs and tapping his fingers. Most times he doesn't mean to do it. He's also not as mentally flexible as he is physically and adapting to changes isn't easy for him whether they be changes in plans or routine. To make things more difficult he's terrible at focusing and won't ask questions about something he either misses or doesn't understand out of embarrassment.

OMSTTSW: Why doesn't he become a cop? Surely his skills would be better served on the force, right? It's simply not for him. Certainly not as interesting as being a hero. Though, he'll give it a shot if he can't cut it as hero.

His father taught him how to disarm people of small weaponry like handguns and knives; What most common crooks and muggers will wield on the streets. It was his mother who taught him what tea to use for what occasion, what stones and herbs to carry on him for each situation. He might not be an active practitioner but one might catch him performing a simple luck spell.

His "hero costume" is just a bunch of scavenged up sports gear he can comfortably move around in. Nothing about it really hides his face.

He does specific training focused on improving his speed, stamina, and strength. After all, it's pointless to learn how to execute a hit if there's no real force behind it.

He loves running and jumping and climbing. A reincarnated monkey basically.

His favorite place to hangout is the trampoline park.

He had a bit of a ninja phase when he was younger and learned how to ninja run (not only with his arms stuck out behind him but run across small surface areas life the top of fenses). For a time his favorite catch phrase was "this is a drag". He doesn't do either of these anymore of course.

He's not openly gay, but still gay. With that said he's never dated before and right now his love life is the least of his concerns.

Considering taking up a melee weapon.

He won't say anything if someone chooses to call him Vince but he does prefer being called Vincent.

Doesn't really consider his power an actual power and merely calls it that thing.

Name: Beatrice "Bea" Rudolph
Age: 15
Height: 4,7 - 5,7
Weight: 80 - 240
Physical Description:

Bea has a flair for eclectic fashion. Each copy of herself is a canvas for her to work on, and she finds it both fun and relaxing. It's not strange to literally see her in several odd outfits throughout a single day. With a new hairstyle to match too! As a matter of fact she gets a kick out of making people think that she truly changes style every few minutes.

Aside from her rather hodge podge fashion sense, Bea is an average looking female of obvious african descent. She carries extra weight, rather well if you ask her, and is aptly dubbed "fluffy" by herself. Her eyes are a bright hazel and if she stays out of the sun for more than a day or two she will pale to reveal freckles! Super kawaii.

Brief History:

They wouldn't leave her alone. It made her anxious.

It started with nail-biting. Self-coping mechanism. At least she didn't suck her thumb. Eventually, she turned to eating though. Eating her feelings, because she was not like the other girls. She didn't talk like them, walk like them, act like them, look like them... She was round.

Munch, munch, munch. Might as well have lived in the fridge. 200 lbs! That's what the scale had said. Bea cried with that tub of ice cream. It was fine. It was salted caramel anyway.

Her family was loving. They'd have loved her if she weighed 300 lbs. It was bittersweet like teary ice cream. Maybe her home life was great, but her school life more than made up for it in cruel children. She needed a vacation... Was she too young for one of those? Wasn't that what overworked adults said? It didn't matter. The only time she had one of those was in her dreams. Sometimes she'd walk all the way to Jump City, headed for the coast. And she'd sit on the beach overlooking the bay with that big T in the middle.

Other times she'd catch a bus and just ride. The countryside made her calm, all those flower fields that went on and on and on. They made her smile. Made it obvious that the world was good no matter how mean the people were sometimes.

She really loved her dreams. It seemed odd they always started in her bedroom though. Rarely was she out in space, moon-jumping. Or traipsing around candy land. Or giving her first kiss to Batman. Or... scratch that last one. That was dumb. Nonsense!! She did... always start in her room though, and she never came back home either. Least she never died... Everyone knew if you died in your sleep, you died in real life.

These were the thoughts of a regular teenage girl. Vague. Mottled and... sometimes oddly deja vu. For instance, she remembered streets, buildings, places she'd only ever been in her dreams. They should have been fuzzy! Some were, but an unsettling amount were remembered. Sometimes people she swore she never met said hello to her. Random name's floated out her mouth with surety. It got creepy at some point. What's more... The places she thought about the most were the ones she without fail woke up and went to in her dreams. It didn't work like that did it? It wasn't supposed to anyway.

It was one night though that gave her rather straightforward answers to her whirlwind of questions. Her dream had been simple. She'd gone out for a moonlit walk around her favorite park simple. It had been nice. She woke up with a smile even. It was late and she'd been kind of thirsty heading for the kitchen. Nothing unusual except... She was already there. Rummaging through the fridge for a bottle of water... She was already there appearing flushed as if... she'd just come from the park.

It was several minutes before she stopped screaming at herself and tried the mirror dance. And by jove she was truly staring at herself... Damn she was cute!

The realization of Bea's abilities incited her good ole parents to move somewhere a bit more accepting of the strange and wonderful. They're just plain folks. They wanted the best for their little girl. And Bea got her dream of being able to walk to the coast whenever she wanted. It was a lot easier with a house a few blocks away, prime real estate anywhere but Jump City which was crime-ridden and rather death-trappy at the moment. But to Bea it was a new horizon, a new beginning for a girl who wasn't just the duff anymore, but someone who actually mattered. Cause she had the power to make a difference.

Personality:

Best described as somewhere between off-putting and sweet. She can be weird, but most people enjoy her presence once they get past her appearance. As she gets older, she grows bolder and more comfortable with her weight and self image. It's done wonders for her people skills. So yay for her!

Honestly, Bea goes through her shy spells. Mostly around boys, but she'll never fess up to such things as puberty! Blegh! If she decides she likes a person, then she warms up quickly, but any ne'er do wells have a snowballs chance of gaining her trust. Er... well that's not quite true. They'd have to be truly evil not to pass her "There's good in everybody!" sensibilities. Even so, anyone who doesn't make friends with her is missing out, and that's their loss, not hers. Least that's what her ma always says.

xNEwK5E.jpg

Skills:
Espionage,

Bea blends quite well in plain sight. An unassuming teenage girl. Nothing to see here.
Cannon fodder,
Assuming she's been packing it away, she can make quite a few disposables for the cause.
Entertainment
Sometimes she's funny. Usually on accident, but it happens.
Design,
She's got an eye for patterns and color, so sue her.

Powers:
Mitosis,

Spontaneous in times of great stress. Otherwise rather controlled, unless of course she's canned too much weight. Then it's just natural order of things.
Hive Mind,
She retains the thoughts and experiences of her clones, whether good or bad up to a certain radius around her in which the brainwaves unhitch, and the clone becomes a free-agent Bea.
Currently unknown lifespan,
Assuming this mitotic ability has no limit... She could theoretically just multiply indefinitely, reaching a certain age and size so as to... grow again? Kind of like a jellyfish.
Hiding in plain sight,
No one pays attention to the fat girl.

Weaknesses:
Slow growth,

Although it might be convenient to a potentially endless life time. It isn't so very convenient to battle that an 8 year old be on the field. If Bea splits too many times in comparison with the mass of her body, then her body will compensate by regressing to an appropriate point in which it can function, brain and all. (Although she does tend to remember the gist of whatever she was doing before the split regardless) i.e
1 - 240 lb Bea = 2 - 120 lb Beas
1 - 120 lb Bea = 2 - 60 lbs (Roughly 5 year old) Beas
Distances over 5 mi,
At this point in her life 5 miles is the limit to her hive ability. This does potentially mean that there are several Dream Beas in different parts of the country at this point. So... that's fun.
Critical mass regulation,
She walks a fine line. It takes time to gain weight correctly. Sure her body is particularly good at energy/nutrient use and efficiency but it is inconvenient to overshoot her "maintenance" weight. Anything over 240 lbs and Bea will undergo mitosis spontaneously.
Questionable intelligence,
She's not a rocket scientist. She is a one man army, but she doesn't necessarily know what to do with it. i.e. instead of putting her extra selves to good use, she tends to release them like butterflies. She doesn't think too hard about the consequences or wisdom of her actions all the time.
Painful reabsorption,
It is possible for Bea to reabsorb her clones. She will simply convert the extra person back to the weight from whence they came. However, in her case, this is unnatural. And it hurts as such. She does not like to do it at all.

"With blood and rage of crimson red..."

Name:
Sarah Panner

Alias:
Red Lantern

Age:
14

Height:
147cm / 4'10"

Weight:
50.7lbs / 23kg

Physical Description:
Sarah has a slender, petite build, wearing a red hoodie over herself and a pair of shorts.
For her head, she wields a long set of red hair, part wavy part dishrivelled, practically covering her back. Her eyes are of a scarlet hue.
As a red lantern, her suit takes its usual form, except it bares her midriff and is sleeveless. However, the only set of clothing it doesn't override is her signature hoodie, in which the emblem of the Red Lanterns is visible. Her eyes glow and exude with red rage, and her hair flows and burns with anger.

"... we fill men's souls with the darkest dread..."

Brief History:
Sarah has had quite the past. After her parents had died in a car crash, she had to live with her Aunt & Uncle. They weren't the nicest of folk - evidenced by them only keeping Sarah around for that fine, juicy inheritance her parents left behind and being abusive to her. Her cousin & school life did not help at all. Sarah knew this, Sarah had to tolerate it. She did not feel sad for herself, or sorry. Instead, rage dwelled in her, pent up.

While she was locked up in her room to starve for a few days, almost ready to die of hunger and thirst, the Red Lantern Ring chose her as its bearer. Giving in to an unspeakable rage, she broke out of her room and ended the lives of her tormenters right there and then. The carnage was so messy, the bodies, and how many of them, could not be identified, leading Sarah to be assumed dead with her Uncle, Aunt & cousin.

Sarah decided to go to Jump City to exact hatred and anger, not on the innocent, but those who harm them, not showing the slightest bit of mercy to even the most common of Street Thugs. Red Lantern was on a rampage, and all who associated with villains, no matter how simple, had reason to fear the Red Lantern, they who enforces justice through rage.

Personality:
Sarah is aggresive & hotheaded at first glance, and she is only even moreso once you get to know her.
She is a Red Lantern, but she does not desire to spread rage, but instead, keep in all to herself.
She has a sense of justice, albeit not a very refined one. Her sense of justice consists of 'making opressers and sinners pay for their crimes'. No matter how simple the crime, no matter how young or old the culprit, she would show the exact same control of power over them, not believing in the concept of control or holding back.
She isn't one who hestitates to kill opposition, occasionally comparing criminals to ants that people step on, or pests invading the house.

"...together with our hellish hate..."

Skills:
Sarah has basic fighting skill, but primarily relies on Lantern Ring boosts for combat.
Sarah is good at videogames, going to arcades very often. She uses Lantern projectile coins, and she doesn't see this as a crime because she believes that her rage is a legitimate currency.

Powers:
tkBY2JI.jpg

Sarah possesses a Red Lantern Power Ring. Its battery is sheer, unadultered rage, and as long as it is fueled, it is capable of creating any projectile imaginable.
Default Lantern powers such as unlimited flight, assumed high speed feats for far-distance travel, increased durability & space/environmental survivability apply.
She can channel her energy to remove her sleep periods & change the fuel of her body from proper food to rage itself, which is what she does since she doesn't have a proper roof on her head or anything to eat. Once she does, she'll likely stop doing this.
All Red Lanterns can produce an energy-based vomit that can melt through objects & even Lantern projections.

"... we'll burn you all..."

Weaknesses:
You know, if she were a Green, I could put stuff like trees & the colour yellow here.
In all seriousness, like all Lanterns, the power is heavily emotion-based. Any opposite emotions will cause the bearer to have the ring reject them, or just become weaker.
Red Rings are essentially life support. Take them off and you die, normally anyways. Red Rings replace the user's heart, after all.
She could care less, but she has a lack of control over her raging power whenever she activates it, being new to the Corps and all.

Trivia:
She has not met another Red Lantern before, not even Dex-Starr of Earth(assuming he's still alive, you know how cat years work), but has heard Atrocitus' voice in her head on a few occasions. She hasn't actually gone off-world yet.
Atrocitus and his Red Lantern Corps will come for her, eventually.

"... this is your fate!"

Hope this is still accepting! WIP

Name: Erika "Ricky" Hawkins // Bang!
Age: 16
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 156 lbs

Brief History: Erika is the daughter of Virgil Hawkins, formerly known as Static Shock. Before her father had settled down with his wife, Teagan he'd thought that his mutation couldn't be passed on. He was wrong. It seemed like almost as soon as she was born, Ricky was shorting out her baby monitor and making the tv go haywire. Although her possession of powers was unprecedented, Virgil wasn't upset. Ricky was like a mini him and when she came to him with power related problems, he knew exactly what to do.

...

Personality: At first impression, Ricky holds an air of mystery and elegance but once you get to know her, you'll realize she's the world's biggest dork and she's damn fine with that. Ricky loves to laugh and it's rare for a day to pass where she doesn't laugh at least one thing (or person). She loves to prank people and will often feign deviousness to freak people out, then dissolve into laughter when they fall for her antics. The young lady is a loyal friend and prides herself in being there for her friends and supporting them at every turn. She makes friends easily but if she is betrayed, she holds grudges like nobody's business.

Skills:

Powers: Electrokinesis // User can shape and manipulate electricity. In order to manipulate electricity, Ricky must be able to absorb it from appropriate sources such as generators, electronic equipment or in times of great need, lightning.

Weaknesses:

  • Water // Water can render her powers useless or cause them to backfire.
  • Rubber // Rubber can also render her powers useless or deflect them.
  • Electronics // Using electronics take much concentration, as Ricky can short circuit or explode them easily.
  • Lightning // Although she can use this to charge up, it is an incredibly dangerous power source. Continuous exposure to or use of lightning as a power source can fry Ricky to a crisp or liquify her insides, either way--without proper equipment, lightning = death.

Alright! The three of you will be the last set of characters I accept, since that puts us at 7 players. Counting this mysterious benefactor of mine, that brings us up to a total of 8 Titans, almost double the size of the original roster.

Brief Summary of the Story Thus Far:
Episode 1- Titans Rising: For the first night in years, the lights are on in Titans Tower. Seven heroes are confronted by floating robotic messengers that look like smartphones attached to model fighter jets that call them directly by their taken hero name and ask if they'll join the newest iteration of Jump City's greatest superhero team: the Teen Titans. The robots promise free pizza for all applicants, and say that "transportation will be provided to the tower for those incapable of crossing large bodies of water in a powered fashion." They are polite, but extremely pushy for a yes or no answer in the form of a small checkbox on the touchscreen. Awaiting our brave heroes in the tower is a rather mysterious figure in a suit of armor, who is seemingly all too aware of the Titans-to-be and their various endeavors. Still, he promises a snazzy base of operations, free food, and a potential team of heroes to work with. What could go wrong?

Technomancer .jpg
Name: Ryan Heart, AKA Technomancer
Age: 19
Height: 6'2
Weight: 200 lbs.

Physical Description: Ryan's a pretty big guy, though he tends to hide it under baggy clothes, or a costume that does a good job of hiding this. His eyes are naturally an icy blue-grey color, and his skin is sickly pale. While the size of the rest of his body makes it less obvious, Ryan has exceptionally, almost comically, large hands and feet, wearing size 16 shoes. He's had to custom order his sneakers since he was 14. He's also missing several important body parts, such as his right arm, his left leg below the knee, several important internal organs, and a significant portion of the right side of his face, which leads to him keeping his mask on almost all the time. When he's not wearing his costume, he usually hides his facial scarring with synthetic skin and clever use of cosmetics. He usually avoids having to do this by wearing his costume, which always includes a thick metal mask to hide his face, even when he's kitted out in lighter variants. He's replaced his missing parts with cybernetics of his own design, which are chrome in color with some holographic or LED blue in places where the UI is accessible.
His standard costume is a lightweight suit of highly advanced armor, favoring utility and maneuverability over raw defensive or offensive power.

Brief History: Normally, Ryan doesn't like to talk about his history, claiming that he's "really rather boring," and that you could "get better stories from a downtown junkie," which is only mostly true. He has been connected to the greater superpowered community since he was born: literally. Ryan was a test-tube baby, a failed member of a project to mass-produce metahumans lead by several major supervillains, brought together despite numerous rivalries to work together on a project to defeat their mutual enemies. Superheroes from a dozen different teams and cities conducted a raid on the facility together and forcibly shut the project down, arresting over a dozen major supervillains and distributing what few lab grown metahumans survived into foster care, where the interesting part of Ryan's life story ends, as he was adopted by a loving family who always did their best to foster and support Ryan's interest in superheroes and superpowers as a whole. They did what they could to help Ryan understand and learn to use his own, and while it wasn't much, Ryan cites them as one of the main reasons he became a superhero instead of using his powers to get rich.
Between his own superpowers and the circumstances surrounding his "birth," Ryan has plenty of reasons to be fascinated by superheroes. Having lived in Jump City his entire life, it was only natural that the primary target of his admiration be the team of superheroes native to his home town, the Teen Titans, who's loss he frequently compares to other major losses for humanity, such as the cancellation of Firefly and the breakup of the Beatles. As such, Ryan's intention as a superhero had always been to found his own superhero team, and with that giant T shaped tower sitting in the bay, so woefully empty...well, how could he resist? He moved out of his parents' house to squat in the defunct tower, refurbishing the place by day with his own technology, and fighting crime by night. Now, with the tower finally up to snuff, and almost a year of superhero experience under his belt, he's finally ready to start keeping the lights on at night to advertise to the criminals of Jump City that the Teen Titans are back.

Personality: Ryan is considered by nearly everyone he meets to be nothing but charming. Though the faceless nature of his helmet can be off-putting to some, he's incredibly friendly and has a good sense of humor and dramatic timing. He talks enough for three people, and it's almost amazing to watch. For Ryan, talking is something that involves almost his entire body, especially his hands, which tend to wave about and physically enunciate every word he says in a way that varies between over-the-top and comical. He's an incredibly animated person, though by his own admission this is largely due to the fact that he has no idea what to do with his hands at any given time, and feels like they should be doing something. Ryan doesn't really do half-measures, being very all-or-nothing, which can make him seem intense, but usually in a good way, like rock and roll. Sometimes this all or nothing attitude can make him come off as brash or abrasive, but he always apologizes in such circumstances.

Skills:
Ryan's power provides him with the bulk of what might seem to be his skills at first glance, but that isn't to say he hasn't learned plenty of things. Ryan is a fantastic cook, able to flawlessly replicate dozens of dishes and cook quality food even with terrible ingredients, though not without a fair degree of complaining. His over-exaggerated style of....well, just existing in general, really, makes him fantastic with children and animals, who seem to love and trust him intrinsically for unknown reasons. He's also great at card tricks, a handful of specific video games that he's spent a lot of time with, and is the best liar he's ever met. Last, but certainly not least, Ryan is an extremely talented user of curses. As in swear words, not magic, though he would absolutely jump at the chance to learn any amount of sorcery, since it's one of the few things left in the world that he doesn't have at least a decent grasp on.

Powers:
  • Eidetic Kinesthesia: Ryan can learn any physical technique after seeing it performed a single time. This happens by default, unless he purposefully concentrates on insuring it doesn't happen in the mental equivalent of clenching his fist. Though it has limits and downsides, the ability to master any skills he wants simply by watching someone else perform them at the highest level is invaluable in a superhero career, and has taught Ryan various martial arts, as well as acrobatics, first aid, and incredible marksmanship.
  • Hypercognition: Ryan's brain processes information far faster and more efficiently than that of a normal human, surpassing even some cutting edge supercomputers. The most visible result of this is a massively increased intellect, putting Ryan at the 8th greatest supergenius in the world, by both his own estimations and that of several others. It also allows Ryan to, in his own words, "see faster, if that makes any sense." Though not to the degree of most speedsters, Ryan's to take in sensory information is notably faster than that of most people, allowing him to effectively plot and plan at speeds up to 150 miles per hour.
  • Technopathy: Ryan can telepathically communicate with electronics, provided they're within a short distance of him. This ability has several limitations, and Ryan considers it to be the weakest of his powers, but it is convenient to be able to play video games without a controller sometimes. It allows him limited control over computers and other electronic devices, such as security cameras, robots, and Titans Tower. He mostly uses this ability to play video games, but can and has used it to access computer files and drive complex machinery with no formal training.
While technically not a superpower, Ryan's "Mark II Dancing Suit" adds a lot to his combat abilities in general, to the point where it would be foolish not to include it here.
[spoili]717ca13de3acf35f2f3ccbc6ba410b6a.jpg [/spoili]
  • Increased Durability: While far from being invincible, the Dancing Suit is rather resistant to damage, able to take fire from most commonly available handguns with little effort. More dangerous weapons, such as hand-cannons or rifles can damage or destroy it, given around 6-12 shots.
  • Increased Strength: The Dancing Suit is significantly stronger than a normal human, allowing the wearer to lift and throw around 1500 pounds, with a maximum lifting capacity of 2500. In combat, this strength allows for punches that are about on par with the average rifle shot, though Ryan typically operates at significantly lower thresholds so as not to seriously injure or kill anyone. Attempts to go over this limit will almost certainly cause damage to the suit.
  • Energy Blasts: Technically housed in Ryan's cybernetic arm, the Hard Light Cannon emerges from the suit's right arm, firing projectiles of light not too dissimilar to the energy of a lantern ring. Though far from being as durable or as dangerous, the Hard Light Cannon surpasses any firearm currently on the market for raw destructive power, able to shoot straight through stone or steel. It's currently the most dangerous weapon Ryan has access to. While a direct hit at full power could potentially be a threat to mid-tier superhumans like Starfire or a rookie lantern, it's not going to kill them outright.
  • Short-Burst Flight: Ryan's suit is equipped with deployable jets in the shoulders and calves that allow for short bursts of flight, though his armor lacks the fuel for longer or extended journeys. His top speed is around 80 miles an hour, and he can currently fly for about 30 minutes before running out of fuel and crashing. Any more than that, and he'd need to refuel back at Titans Tower.
  • Omnidirectional Grapple System: Ryan's preferred option for both mobility and combat is a series of deployable tethers. 12 launchers fire graphene cables from Ryan's hands, feet, hips, or shoulders respectively, allowing him full mobility in any direction, and they can be effectively used as whips or to restrain foes. Propelled magnetically, like a railgun, they fire at just under supersonic speed, though this can obviously be modulated so as not to seriously injure the unpowered.
  • Sensory & Tracking Equipment: Between the helmet of his suit and his prosthetic eye, Ryan has six different sensory options at his disposal. For vision, he's got Infrared, Sonar, and X-Ray, covered. Highly sensitive audio receptors allow him to pick up radio frequencies as well as frequencies of sound that would normally be inaudible to the human ear. The inside of his helmet also features a heads up display not unlike what you'd find in a videogame, showing the wearer all sorts of valuable information such as the current level of damaged sustained by his suit, the amount of fuel left for his flight, and the amount of power remaining for the Hard Light Cannon. It can also display web pages and access the internet from anywhere in the world. Ryan typically gives out the password to friends who ask or simply need to use the internet. It's "H3R01C."
  • Storage Space: Ryan's suit has more storage space than its sleek design would suggest, and he usually wears a utility belt while out on the town. Ryan's standard operating gear includes a small stock of four protein bars, a fully stocked first aid kit, four Epi-Pens, four pairs of handcuffs, four smoke grenades of his own design that are about the size of golf balls, and sixteen thumbnail sized tracking devices that attach to any surface other than glass. He also never leaves the tower without at least two packs of M&Ms, one for him, and one for any traumatized kids. He started doing it after an experience early in his career left him unable to sleep for a week and a half.
Weaknesses:
  • Being Literally Disabled: Outside of his suit, Ryan's physical abilities are severely limited. He can't run for more than a couple of seconds without collapsing, needs glasses for the one eye he does have, is almost entirely dependent on his cybernetics to meet the expectations of daily life. Without them, he wouldn't even be able to go to the bathroom or sit up in bed by himself. He's far more limited than even a normal human, before powers are brought in.
  • Being Figuratively Disabled: Being so dependent on electronics means that Ryan quite literally requires time to recharge. His cable is pretty long, and can be plugged into any standard outlet, but requires enough electricity to burn out a standard home's electrical grid, making charging anywhere other than the tower quite impractical. He can go about a week without charging his body parts, but his combat suit is a different story. Being far less efficient, it uses about 50% of its power reserves in the average night of hero work. Anyone that can either outlast his machines or disable them outright via something like an EMP or even sufficient electrical discharges could render Ryan powerless.
  • Human Memory Limit: Ryan's ability to copy skills is limited by his ability to remember them, which doesn't have any significant improvements over that of a normal human. In order to learn a new set of skills, Ryan has to make room by forgetting something else. While he can control what exactly he forgets, he refuses to delete personal memories or experiences for anything other than new of the same, leaving him with a handful of different skills that he can swap out if he wants to learn a new one. Ryan considers the following to be his "replaceable" memories: three different martial arts, (Judo, Krav Maga, and Boxing) standard first aid, and marksmanship. Learning any more past this could potentially hamper his ability to form new memories at all.
  • Communication, Not Control: There's a good reason Ryan considers his Technopathy his least useful ability. He can't control electronics, only communicate with them. This means that he can't use or activate machines in a way that he couldn't do with just his hands. He can't open up your phone with his mind if he doesn't already know the password, for example. While direct communication is enough of an advantage to get past some forms of security already, like with the computer that interprets driver commands and regulates the engine in a modern car, this disadvantage is significant enough that most other Technopaths would laugh at him. The range of this ability is only about 30 feet as well, meaning he has to get close if he wants to have any influence at all.
  • Over-Eager: Ryan's thrilled at the idea of being a hero. He loves it, and couldn't consider doing anything else with his life. That said, when he's out there, dashing across or between the buildings, saving children from housefires and throwing people into the bay, he's like a kid playing with a favorite video game. It isn't serious to him. He's had his setbacks, sure, but Ryan views hero work as shiny and pretty, and doesn't really seem to realize that he could actually die if he slipped up. Or, if he has, he's having too much fun to care. He puts himself in terrible situations that any well trained hero, or even just one with more common sense, would never get into, because at the end of the day being a hero is just a roller coaster ride to Ryan.
  • Little Real Hero Experience: Ryan's only been crime fighting for a year. While his power nets him plenty of martial arts experience, knowing martial arts is different to knowing how to fight, just like knowing something in theory is different than knowing it in practice.
  • Only So Many Hours Each Day: Ryan's tech is extremely advanced, yes, but it's also extremely new, and made either in garages or the Tower, neither of which are exactly cutting edge laboratories. What tech the Titans left behind in the tower is over a decade out of date. As such, Ryan's tech suffers from the same problems all new technology suffers from. Things break, things go wrong. As is, he spends about 6 hours each day maintaining his armor and cybernetics, and if he ends up designing more or new tech that time is only going to increase. More time maintaining his gear means less time being a hero out in the field, and means more spent vulnerable outside of his protective armor.
  • Security Breaches: Not in the electronic sense. Ryan's technology is designed explicitly to be controlled exclusively by his power, as opposed to normal means. (Other Technopaths could still feasibly control it, however.) No, the security breaches in question are for Ryan himself. Despite his over the top, rock-and-roll attitude, he's a lot more insecure than he appears at first glance. Due to his physical disabilities, he's horribly ashamed of his physical appearance, hiding it as much as he can. He's not great at understanding people or social situations really, and that causes worry deep in the pit of his gut that everyone he knows secretly hates him, though he'd never express it openly.

Age: 16

Height: 5'8"

Weight: 160 lbs

Physical Description:

Theme Song:

These two are both accepted. I'm going to nitpick everyone a little, in an attempt to prompt people to do the same to me so I can get feedback on my posts. So, these go in order.

For miss Logan, I think that the description of her powers, specifically the ones inherited from her mother, are a bit vague, with little in the way of explaining the sort of mechanical "how do I do this" aspect of her powers in a way that the bio after you does. I absolutely adore the show, so it's not that I don't get it, but I imagine if we had some hypothetical person who came to this RP having missed out on the Teen Titans, they might not. I don't think it'll be a real problem, but this is me trying to be mean in an underhanded attempt to get writing advice. There's that, and also despite the fact that her parents are Green and Grey respectively, she's just like, a white girl with no discernible physical changes other than an unfortunate case of Nekopara syndrome. That said, I do really like how you've made it clear that having her parents be full time superheroes has had a clear impact on her life and the decisions she makes, and that's really cool. Plus, the way she's sort of a balanced mix of her parents personality wise is cool, and it will be fun to see how those to sides of her interact as the story progresses. Also the fact that the girl with the relatively unpredictable emotionally influenced power thought ahead and started carrying a gun seems like a really smart decision that a real person in her situation would make, and I want to give you props for it.

For mister Gonzales, I would appreciate if weaknesses involved flaws in their powers as much as personal ones, but based off what I read of the rest of the described, it seems like there's some sort of built in timer or the like to his power, where changes don't last forever. That, and Big Gulp is a soda where I live, and I don't know if that name is on purpose or not. Either way, I imagine hardened criminals are going to have a hard time being afraid of it. That said, I really like the way his bio establishes himself as this sort of self-made superhero trying to punch his way through his life, and that's really fun. Also, don't think I didn't catch you stealing that power from My Hero Academia. Admittedly, I approve wholeheartedly because it's my favorite power in the series thusfar, so good on you. Still, don't think I didn't notice.

And now I gotta be this guy. I hate being this guy, but I don't feel like I can approve this yet. The base concept is something I enjoy, but I have multiple questions. Starting off with the general stuff, the other two character sheets are really detailed and have a lot to them, which helps me get a good feel for who these characters are and what I can expect from them, and I don't really get that from your bio. I'm not particularly strict, and I know that those other two are pretty hefty character sheets, but I would like to ask you to try your best and push it further towards what you see from Raven and Chaac.

Going through a quick rundown of more tangible suggestions for things you could do, lines like "She's been doing the career since first moment discovered," are a fantastic opportunity to tell people more about your character and her history. What was this first moment? How did the moment of discovery change things in her life?

There's also the line "Learned Mimicry for protection," that I just don't get. I'm willing to accept the idea that it's on me, and that you're referring to some sort of super rad martial art or similar thing that I know nothing about, but if that's the case, I'd like an explanation of sorts. It doesn't have to be super in depth, but as is if I try googling it I just get definition of the words and cool videos of octopus camouflage techniques.

Coming down to the part of these things that everyone nitpicks, I'd like to see more regarding her powers. As is, I don't have any real sense of her limits or the mechanical function of her powers, which isn't helped by the fact that "Fairy" and "Psychic" aren't really traditional elements outside of Pokemon. It's not that you can't do it, or even that I think you shouldn't, it's just that I want to know more.

If i were to fix it and modify it with the points that you made... would it be accepted fully?

I actually have somewhere a more detailed description of Raven's power types. I'll try and see if I can either A find it or B remember what I put and edit that in. Thanks. And I can explain the natural skin tone actually. So Raven's mother Areilla AKA Angela has normal skin because she is from Earth and I was after her having a trait that was not just of Raven's and Beastboys. I can sit down and edit in a better details for her physical appearance as well. I'll be honest I didn't have a chance to fully read over the sheet more than one time before posting it.

Ah! So that's where I got it from! I was sure I'd seen the power before, but I wasn't thinking of My Hero Academia, I assumed it'd been from some random X-Men Evolution villain or something, lol. Well, you know what they say: ain't nothing new under the sun.

Also, I did mean to write something about his power lasting until the eaten object gets digested, with the digestion process being accelerated the longer the power gets used, so eating a key may allow him to manifest that key for a couple of seconds and again some hours later, whereas eating steak to get strong would last a couple of minutes if said strength is maintained. Another drawback I'd thought of was to limit the powers to one manifestation at a time.

And yeah, Big Gulp is essentially a super-big cup of soda you get at 7-11 where most people mix all sorts of shit in (it's a disgusting/fascinating culture). The name was an intentional reference to that, but I'm likely going to change it, if not before the RP begins, then during it.

Wow, I guess I don't remember my DC lore as well as I thought I did. I could have sworn Raven's mom was like, a witch who lived in some weird extradimensional border town or something. Anyway, you don't have to change anything unless you want to. You are accepted, after all.

It's a shame, really. The sheer amount of content out there now basically ensures that there's never anything truly new anymore. I like the idea of putting a time limit on it, just because the idea of having a character pulling a Skyrim and stopping mid fight to eat a bunch of random stuff he pulls from his pockets is really entertaining. But, like I said, you're already accepted. And hey, having a lame name is an opportunity for character development as he finds a better one.

If i were to fix it and modify it with the points that you made... would it be accepted fully?

I'd imagine so, yeah.

I'd imagine so, yeah.

So i shall change it. Fix it up a bit. It'll be better soon.

Edit: Check it now. It should be better now.

Yeah I could talk your head off about Raven's family more than any of the other Titans. Garfield is a close second.

But her mother actually was born in Gotham City. That's right she's from Batman's home. But was on the wrong side of town really horrible parents and so seeked refuge. Long story short becomes Trigon's Pawn willingly till learns the truth a little to late, meets Azar, taken to Azerath and has Raven. Now those on Azerath are all magical to my understanding.

To clarify Azar is the creator of Azerath. Raven and her mother are from the alternate Dimension that is meant to be a different version of Earth. Which explains everyone's understanding of where Raven is from acquiring to the show. The comics explain about her mother more however, along with what happened after meeting Trigon.

But I'm fine editing things so people can understand my character or writing better.

exodus_of_uhuru__legend_of_the_windriders_by_madstanlee-d65hdgc.jpg

Another factor is that Kevin doesn't feel worthy enough to be Kid Flash since Kevin is much slower than what he use to be after an encounter with the Reverse Flash.

Kevin is not as fast as he once was.

Weaknesses:
Kevin's body suffers internal damage from prolonged use of the speed force. He and Wally suspect it has something to do with him pushing the boundaries of the speed force when he was trapped in it with reverse flash. He now suffers what he calls a backlash of black lighting when he goes over his limit.

Before I proceed, is there anything saying that Lanterns can't be teenagers? I have a very big hunch that there is so I'm asking first.

You two are approved!

Before I proceed, is there anything saying that Lanterns can't be teenagers? I have a very big hunch that there is so I'm asking first.

I don't think there is, at least not off the top of my head. I think the Green Lanterns would be opposed to that, since they're the Space Cops and I imagine they'd frown on having minors join, but the Guardians might just be too high and mighty to care.

Also, I've been intending to make a character of my own, but have just gotten completely shafted by other obligations. Sort of a mysterious and sorta' sketchy, but really nice and bizarrely chipper benefactor for the team.

I was thinking Blue or Red for my character.

I was thinking Blue or Red for my character.

Then yeah, you're probably in the clear. The Red Lanterns definitely wouldn't care about age restrictions, and I can imagine the Blue Lanterns being hippy enough that they don't even realize it's a problem until someone tells them.

How many people can be on the team? I'd love to make a character, but only if there's enough room. I wouldn't wanna mess up team dynamics

Plus, group rps tend to be more fragile as more people join, but I thought I'd ask just in case. @Eon

Network.
aka

Skills:
