The two bandits that followed the meowing found nothing but a small clearing. "What do you think that was?" one of them asked looking to the other, "It was just probably some wild cat stuck on something. Let's head back to the boss." When they turned around, they were greeted with a pair of glowing red eyes in the darkness of the forest. A branch cracked under his foot as stepped forward, "Only fools walk these forests at night," the voice coming from Kyouji's blood cover mouth as he gazes upon the two with burning eyes.

"D-Demon!" one of the bandits shouted before running towards him with blade drawn, ready to strike. A sound of crack could be heard when Kyouji struck the bandit in the hand with his sheathed sword, causing the bandit to drop the weapon. "If you don't want to be slain where you stand humans, run and never return to this place. I will know if you do and I promise a slow and painful death before I eat you," Kyouji says in a dark manner. The two bandits look at each other before quickly taking off in the other direction. The demon sniffed the air, getting the scent of more people, and a familiar one. It was a scent from earlier today from the village... could it be that priestess? He quickly took off towards the direction of the group when that became a possibility.

Meanwhile with the other three bandits and Aiyuri, the one with the drawn dagger approaches closer with a mask that wore a sinister grin. "Put down the toy girl, before you hurt yourself. I don't want to harm that pretty face of yours... yet," he said before rushing towards Aiyuri to try to restrain her.

"Get away from me!" she yells, shooting an arrow with her eye closed and hoping she hit something, she opens one eye and then both to see that she had hit the bandit right in the arm, she hoped it went deep enough to restrain him, because as soon as she was sure he was injured she took off running in the other direction, not stopping to look or see if he was close behind. Her vision was blurred by scared tears that began to run down her face, but she skillfully dodged tree's and ran in the same direction for a while. Soon she ran across a small cave that probably belonged to some animal who was not here right now, she didnt care though, she stopped herself from running and got herself into the cave, holding her legs to her chest and trying not to breath hard for fear she would be found out. For a while all she heard was silence, but she was no fool.. she would stay where she was until she was certain they were gone.

It took the bandit a moment before he realize there was an arrow in his arm. He slowly turned his head towards the sight of the wound and then lets out a cry, "Uaghhh! You bitch! I'll kill you!" He yelled in an aggressive voice. "B-boss are you alright?" The wounded bandit looked over to the one who asked, "Idiot! Go after her!" The two quickly nodded and chased after the girl. He attempted to take out the arrow but groaned and just snap apart of it off instead.

The smell of blood was strong in the air now as Kyouji gets closer to where he scent originated from. He was actually beginning to worry, was that girl alright? If she was hurt, her blood would be on his hand. Even if she wasn't following him, it was just how he thought. His crimson eyes quickly spotted two more bandits and didn't like the sight of them. Kyouji didn't even bother to warn them as he drew his blade in one smooth motion. In a flash, the demon rushed through them, cutting non vital areas but disabling them. "W-what was that?" one said before crumpling to the ground.

The last bandit took another path after the girl, "B..bitch.. where are you. I'll make you scream and beg for your life when I find you. I'm going to enjoy this..." he said to himself sounding deranged. The wound was getting infected as he continued through the forest, leaving a trail of blood drops as he makes his way in front of the small cave. "Hehehe.. little girl. You can't hide forever."

Aiyuri heard the man get closer and closer to her, and she was certain that she was caught -her mind began to race and think of all the disgusting and vile things this man wanted to do to her.. as she thought about it she began to shake a little, and tears stung her eyes. "Buddha.." she whispered as she tried to control her shaking and be more quiet. What was she to do? who would come for her? No one. Because no one knew she was out here, she had run away in the night and it was a far cry to believe the village had noticed her absence so quickly.. they were all asleep, asleep like she should be.. in her bed and not running away.

All of the sudden Aiyuri felt sorry for even leaving, and began bashing herself mentally for her reckless move... her mind began to wander to the demon that had invaded her village along with the other two more evil demons.. she wandered where he was at this very moment, probably hot on their trail, while she was here being hunted herself.

'What was I thinking? Im nothing but a mere human.. I cant do this by myself..' she admitted in her mind as she pushed herself back into the cave more. If she died tonight, she hoped her village would remember her as someone brave and not foolish, and that her family might be spared from shame.
