It was the year 2082 when the war began. In all their wisdom, the countries all over the world fought each other in what seemed a free-for-all constant skirmish, combating for those few last drops of nonrenewable resources to power up the war machinery that was bringing civilization to an early end. It is still unsure if it was a mistake or a deliberate action, but on a cold December of 2085, a nuclear missile was launch, and in a childish reprisal, all the able countries launched their own, drowning the world in centuries of darkness and desolation.
But there were a few ones, experiments so to speak, people that was cryogenically frozen to test the conservation systems and vaults before more 'important' people was sent to use the facilities. Sadly, or luckily for those guinea pigs, nuclear mayhem raged way before the original owners of the pods could claim them. Now, a uncertain amount of time after the nuclear disaster, the humans who survived on the surface have formed factions, groups... Even in this harsh times, humans still wage war between them. The difference is that now there is another resource to fight for: The Ancient Vaults
There are many relics from the past era, powerful artifacts, items and weapons that remain caged on those vaults. The pods containing the frozen kind are also in those vaults, and although they aren't as important for the humans living on the surface as the weapons or technology may be, they are still an asset. And for the looks of it, one worth fighting for.
So, yeah... Post-apocalyptic RP
