Hello, Iwaku!

I come to you with a question. I've started (and have been asked to continue) hosting a creative writing workshop every Thursday, where I provide writing prompts to aspiring authors as well as proofreading, editing, and tips on avoiding common pitfalls and writer's block (arrogant, right?).

In order to help facilitate this, I'm constructing for my participants 'creative writing binders', containing supplies and materials to help them with their writing.

Included in these binders so far are:

  • Inspirational quotes from established authors.
  • 'Cheat sheets' on synonyms for cliché words and phrases.
  • Simple writing prompts for them to complete on their own time.
My question to you, Iwaku, is what else should I include in these binders? I want them to be as helpful and 'user-friendly' for these new writers as possible!

(I'm also including information about NaNoWriMo, for the more ambitious participants!)
