-Azrael: Humility-

The only advantage to not having been reborn into a human body was that he was able to keep an eye on things from afar, but it came to his attention that the Sins had out numbered the Virtues. That was a problem. They would hold much more influence over the humans that would determine humanity's fate. The chaotic unbalance that would ensue would leave the world in state of destruction. Azrael had not enjoyed the company of his comrades in years which made the idea of possessing an earthling more bearable. He did not envy the humans' world of sin, waste and carnage. He would miss the warm glow of the Heavenly realm, but he had a job to do. He was the leader of the Virtues and it was time to find his warriors.

The transition for possessing took courage as neither Virtue nor Sin knew the body they would be dealt. It was not like one could part the clouds and choose as they desired. He allowed his spirit to reach out to Cleric and began the connection. For Azrael it was felt as though he was being pulled into a heavy slumber. He just prayed that wherever he awoke, the body would be useful. An elderly body would be hard if he were to be attacked.

Blaring horns and voices filled his ears, forcing him to pinch his forehead. His skin was warm and smooth. Through blurry vision he could see the ceiling fan above him, black blades spinning endlessly. As he settled into the body, he could feel silk tangled around him. Propped up on his elbows he soaked in the luxurious room around him. The windows were ceiling to floor with red curtains loosely pulled together. On the nightstand rested jewelry, one of which was a gold watch with marble facing. Clothes were scattered around on the day bed and dressers.

"Hey, baby," a strange voice boomed from the hall as a man appeared, fixing the buttons on his shirt, "Sorry, I know you hate being called that."

Azrael pulled the sheets up to his collarbone--human heart pounding like thunder trapped in his chest. The feeling of shock never affected his chest in the Heavens.

"I know you said you couldn't see me tonight, but last night was..." the man was tall with groomed dark hair, light eyes and creamy skin. The shirt looked ready to burst at his shoulders. "Last night was... incredible. I know you have your rules but couldn't you make an exception?"

He was so busy throwing himself together that the stranger finally, for the first time since his one-sided conversation started, did he look Azrael in the eyes.

"You okay Ashlin?" His brows furrowed, "You look like you saw a kitten get hit by a bus."

"I... I'm fine." the voice that escaped his lips was soaked in velvet. He glanced around, eyes searching for a mirror.

"Anyways, after your benefit how about I meet you back here?" He slipped onto the bed--Azrael all but jumped off the adjacent side, "I don't think that would be a good idea."

"C'mon, break your rules every once and a while."

Azrael managed to find the bathroom, jumping at his own reflection. Staring back at him was a woman with tousled hair, half naked in a small white dress and smeared make-up. He ran his fingers through the strawberry blonde hair. Dried hairspray crunched under his fingertips.

"Ashlin?" The stranger called from the other room. Azrael ignored him and hurried to wipe the make-up off. He patted his face dry before returning to the bedroom, "Identification, I need it."

"Mine?"

"No, mine." He started going through Ashlin's things.

"I'm pretty sure you left it in your wallet."

"Where is that?" he snapped at the man, who pointed with his chin, "By the dresser."

Azrael spotted a gold and white purse and quickly opened it, shoveling through her belongings.

"Ashlin Sparks..." he, now she, whispered. Not only did she find her wallet and ID, but also her phone. On the front screen there was a list of meetings she had had planned. One of which was meeting with a politician. It did seem she managed to possess a body that some history and maybe power on earth.

"You need to leave. Now." She stood, holding her wallet and phone.

"See you tonight?" The man was clasping the silver wallet on. Ashlin shook her head, "No, I have things to do." Get out, scum-bag.

"Call me?" The man asked just he and Ashlin reached the door, "No."

She shoved him out and locked the door, before returning to the bedroom. She needed to get dressed, investigate everything about this Ashlin Sparks and find the humans that needed protecting.

Chronos/Temperance

"Now, taking into account the gravitational pull of the fifth moon..." Chronos sat at his desk, quickly swapping between research papers and a piece of scratch paper covered with complex mathematics. He sighed, leaning back in his chair. 'A little swap here, a little asteroid there, la la la...' Screw you, Astraeus. A knock on his door interrupted his mental rant. Reluctantly, he stood up and made his way to the door.

"Zeit!" The second the door was open, he was pulled into a bear hug. "How's it going, man?! God, it's been so long! Two and a half years, can you believe that? I mean, back then-"

"Adal."

"Yeah?" To Chronos' relief, the black-haired machine gun stopped firing.

"To answer your question, I've been doing fine." He gave Adal a warm smile. "Good to see you, too."

"So, you're living alone? How're your parents doing?" Chronos flinched a little and his smile dropped, but answered nonetheless.

"They... aren't with us anymore." Adal's smile faded.

"Ah... well shit, man, I'm sorry..." he placed a hand on Chronos' shoulder.

"It's fine. No way you could've known." A sad smile replaced Chronos' previously friendly one.

"Well, let's shut up about it then!" He laughed at his attempt at humor. "Anyway, there's this bar I frequent that I want you to try. It's about a half hour walk. You game?" He gave Chronos' shoulder an encouraging shake.

"Sure. Lead the way." The sadness had all but faded from Chronos' features at that point. Adal gave a celebratory fist pump and set off at a brisk pace. Adal... don't ever change. He went outside, locked the door, and set off after his friend.

{ RAGUE - HOLLY MANFREDI ; THE EMBODIMENT OF CHARITY }
Location: Orphanage ; Currently with: n/a ; Color: #b81d9e

The sun has yet to rise in the sky when Holly was already busy with work. Today, she was busy with helping in an orphanage for a small feeding program. A chance for them to enjoy luxury of eating something they don't get to eat. Though if it were up to her, she would like them to always be able to eat whatever they like but life isn't so easy. Holly placed one of the last boxes on the corner of the room where the program would take place. She let out a sigh of relief, as she wiped the sweat on her brow. "You should really use a handkerchief instead of the edge of your sleeve. This is really unfitting for a lady like yourself." Adrian handed a handkerchief to her- after placing the last box. "Holly, we can do the rest. You've been working nonstop since you came here, right? We have some food in the cafeteria to eat for breakfast." One of the staff that's working the room called out to her. Adrian then glared sharply at Holly, "You haven't had breakfast yet?" his tone had a menacing tone to it that made Holly wince.

"Ha ha ha." she let out an awkward laugh. Really, ever since Adrian was assigned to protect her- he was also really meddlesome with her lifestyle. It was kind of true that she tend to forget to eat sometimes, or maybe she'd be too busy thinking on what to do, or planning events that could help people's lives but she was still alive so far right? There was also a few mishaps that almost cost her to lose her life by simply not looking where she was going on the street, or ended up being caught in a robbery where she was a hostage but all that happened wasn't entirely her fault. "Then let's go, Adrian!" she grabbed his hand and dragged him to the cafeteria.

Her parents were really overprotective though, to think they would hire a bodyguard. Though she was living alone in a small apartment, they still visited her every now and then to check on her. But now that recently her parents business was expanding, they were worried due to her personality that more than likely she would end up in a difficult situation due to this. Which led to them hiring Adrian. They took a liking with Adrian, a young competent man who was around Holly's age- more than skilled enough to protect their daughter. They hope that maybe someday soon that their daughter will have an interest in developing relationships. The couple wasn't particular on his job or background, as long he's able to support their daughter. So it was love in first sight when they held his interview. It's already been four months since then.

Holly was honestly shocked with the black haired male's sudden appearance in her life but welcomed it nonetheless. Though she remains unaware of her parents plan in store for her. She took a glance at the male as she ate the oatmeal, cold from sitting there for so long. "By the way, you remember you have a schedule for an interview right?" Adrian brought up when he noticed she was almost done eating. Holly made a shocked expression, in response- obviously she didn't remember. The male could only sigh. An hour or so later, the event had finally started. It composed of a few volunteers, the orphanage staff and the orphans. Time flew by, as everyone enjoyed their time.

Afterwards, Holly and Adrian were running to avoid being late for their interview. It was all her father's fault that she ended up being roped into doing this interview. She didn't really understand why someone would want to interview her. Meanwhile her dad, James Manfredi would make sense because his business was slowly becoming an empire and his contacts were becoming more powerful such as politicians and other successful businessman but apparently that over doting father of hers, couldn't stop talking about her which led them to be curious. "Where is the interview supposed to be held- ah!" Holly somehow ended up tripping on nothing but managed to regain her footing. Adrian let out a sigh of relief when he saw her alright, he didn't know what he can say to his employer if she had gotten injured which can happened more than often. "That building over there." he pointed to one of the high risers. "If I remember correctly, it's a politician's secretary." he answered her. "Probably wanting to use you to help look good among the people" he muttered under his breath.

Dani: Gaia
"If you don't eat then you won't get better. And I won't always be around to feed you, ya got to let someone else do it to." Dani stated as she gently fed the baby squirrel. The poor thing had been brought in with a broken leg and had been refusing food from anyone but Dani.
"But they just throw the stuff in." The squirrel complained nibbling on a nut. "They don't hold me. Besides they don't know what I like. You know all my favorites."

Cradling it close to her chest she settled back in her chair as she fed it and began speaking gently to it. "You know, Ms.Carter say's we ain't suppose to touch you to much cause you'll get to used to human contact. If she knew I was holding you she'd throw a right fit. She don't know what you and I know. It's a miracle she hasn't found out already. The other's certainly aren't gonna risk it. Besides I can always leave a list of your favorites."

"Nope, no deal. It's you or no other. I don't like humans anyway." Sniffing the stubborn squirrel burrowed into the bowl to find it's favorite nut.

Sighing Dani gave up the argument. It was a lost cause from the beginning. Most of the animals at the wildlife center distrusted people and only let a few near them. Yet, they all knew Dani wasn't human so let her near them. For some, she was the only one they trusted. I wish that they didn't have a good reason not to trust humans. As it is my departure from the world seemed to cause great harm. I have much work to do.

Michelle / Ammutseba : Envy

A light breeze blew through the blonde hair of a young male bouncing down the street. Bobbing against his side was a leather satchel containing an ancient 'treasure'; parchment wasn't really a treasure in the boy's opinion, but the idiot he was delivering it to seemed to value it, to the extent the boy had to keep it specially packaged. If Abraxas was willing to teach the ways of the pen in return for these silly deliveries the boy sure as Hell wasn't going to question it though. The boy had many real treasures he wanted to steal, and having a deft hand at forgery would help gain many of them. Thus he arrived outside of Abraxas' house with an eager grin on his face.

"Knock knock, Howard Lovecraft here," the boy chimed, knocking on the door as he did so. The boy wondered what Abraxas would make of today's disguise, whether Abraxas would appreciate the effort he'd put into forming this handsome body so masterfully; probably not, it would likely be deemed 'unnecessary complexity' in keeping his privacy. At least Michelle had had fun crafting her disguise, moulding herself after fellow models whose bodies she desired. But that joy had not lasted, it having faded after catching a glimpse of her own reflection in a window, and no longer did she care for the bodies she had based her appearance on. After-all, a real treasure had to belong to someone else.

Dead to the world. A fitting description for one whom slept the day away with complete, and utter disregard of the time. Morning transitioning into late afternoon while they remained knee deep in REM sleep. The fact that it was nearly three meant nothing to the occupant of Apartment 16H of the Arboretum Apartment Complexes. A name found humorlessly ironic by said resident, its name standing for 'botanical gardens devoted to trees' while in reality there was everything but for miles on end. In fact the City of Dyleth hadn't experienced much, if any substantial flora growth for quite some time. Pollution, and overall neglect the main two culprits. In short, no one seemed to give a damn.

Very much so part of the unofficial 'Who Gives a Fuck?' initiative when it came to most aspects of everyday life, the occupant of Apartment 16H had rarely ever been seen, or heard from. The result of which subsequently led many neighbors to assume it to be vacant. Too fearful to ever knock. A few convinced otherwise after having spotted a towering figure dressed in all black traversing the sixteenth floor hallways every now, and again. For just shy of a decade said figure had never revealed their face, then suddenly out of the blue a slew of different people began to be seen coming, and going from the apartment. First noticed about a month or so ago. Speculation as to who they were, and whether or not they actually lived there never truly went far. Instead leaving those more observant than the others quite confused. Exactly how Abraxas preferred them to be. Sheep left in the dark were always easier to manipulate. A fact that Sloth as a being whom had existed for more than a millennia knew first hand.

Nestled deep within the confines of his home Abraxas slept, doing so until an all too familiar sensation began to spread throughout his body. Akin to an oddly warm tingle it was an internal detector of sorts, able to identify the presence of others like himself. Those whom transcended mere mortality. Fourteen entities known amongst their respective circles as Sins, and Virtues. As one of the former Abraxas, commonly referred to as Sloth, could subconsciously sense another Sin nearby the second whomever it was stepped foot into the building. Turning over onto his back within his bed said sensation proceeded to grow stronger as time went on, a knock on the front door taking the role of the final nail in the coffin before a pair of eyes slowly opened. Hazel in hue Sloth's irises possessed an eerie brightness, and subtle glow. A feature that had emerged in each, and every new form he'd taken since the very beginning. Blinking to clear his vision before finally sitting up, the male groaned groggily. Muscular torso shirtless with loose navy sweatpants below. Waist length blond hair disheveled as a wide hand rose to brush strands out of his field of view Abraxas took note of the time. It was still "early" as far as he was concerned.

Begrudgingly forcing himself from bed Brax stretched lazily, a drawn out yawn accompanying him as the Sin withdrew from his room entirely. Bare feet heavy a top hardwood floors Sloth took his time approaching the front door, the tingle having grown irritatingly insistent by that point. Pausing to glance out of the peephole a glowing eye gazed out into the hall, landing on a cute blond grinning from ear to ear. Face the epitome of deadpanned on his end Sloth deeply sighed. A hand going so far as to firmly pinch the bridge of his nose. "...The hell do you want?" he inquired curtly, bass-filled voice naturally quite monotone. Not having heard what had been said by the boy beforehand. Sloth already knew whomever it was to be a Sin, but needed to know which before ever unlocking the front door. Only one other had fairly recently been permitted to step foot into his personal space. A frequently changing password needed prior to admittance. Any, and all other Sins could promptly fuck off.

Clarence Had sleep like a dog, in heaven last night and was now awake, dressed for work and staring, at the ceiling fan, watching it slow down, just waiting for it to turn off, so he could leave. Flexing his right hand, Clarence had watched his new tattoo stretch and recoil like it were a living thing, it was a fun thing to do when bored. Clarence had, then put some tattoo goo, on it and went out of his apartment. ''Fuck, I'm not sure if I hate my job, or if it hate me.'' Clarence had said to himself, and then hurried down the stairs. It could be natural that he was just gettin' bored of his job. Clarence had still needed the money, to pay for rent, food and the things that took mortal livin' and made it. Useful...Like porn! Gettin out of his own thoughts, Clarence had gotten in his car, started her up, and drove to his shit-job.

''Oh my fucking god. I hate my life.'' Laughed Clarence, he was being honestly not about himself, but about the people that his power ha told him that. Chasity had gotten used to being alive around age two-hundred and fifty. It was his favourite about of money to have or so it became his favourite when, he had started to save up to that much. He was close to heading into work. But, had frowned, musing on his thoughts. 'Hm. To go in, or to play, hooky. I'm a eternal adult. But, I like money, eh. Buckcherry is right. I. don't care, fuck it. Fuck it!' He drove in the left direction, whereas Chast's job was just to the north. ''I'm going to have, funnnn. Hope, I on't get arrested. hastag, dicks out for Harambee.'' Cheered Chasity, as he speed only a little bit more and sighed, but it was a happy sigh. He will finally be able to, figure out what the Sins & Virtues have been up to, becuase he wasn't trying to know for the longest time. But his body had called for such a positive change, no matter what it brings. He'd find, Sloth first. His tendons had just wanted to know if anything had changed. HeLa po
