After having looked around a bit in the settings, I'm pretty sure the answer is no. There doesn't seem to be any setting for any of the tabs in the profile to go away.
You can make your profile details, news feed, etc. private or only visible for people you follow, but other than that there doesn't seem to be any way of changing the things shown on your profile. So if you simply want to get rid of them for aesthetic reasons and not for your privacy, then there doesn't seem to be much to do about it as of now.
