Okay, sure. WWIII happened. And I'll give you this; we may have taken it a bit too far. But thanks to the intervention of the Yuicore rebels, as well as our collaborative efforts to research and implement Monogen into our weapons, we have come up with a solution that is much less dangerous for the preservation of mankind; psychological warfare in the form of Psipacks, in the hands of the Operatives & Mechanics. It is with this that we can settle our own war, as well as the Yuicore war, and finally rebuild our planet.

The Yuicore ( you - ee - core ) are a race of genetically enhanced brachiators, with a bony exoskeleton and the ability to camoflouge. Their government, the Astrarysk, routinely assassinates individuals that are thought to be dangerous to the safety, productivity or happiness of others. It is seen as their responsibility to do so, though opposers disagree and prefer detainment and correction as opposed to the death sentence. This has resulted in the civil war raging between the Yuiqore powers, one that humanity finds itself in the midst of. The good thing, though, is an alternative to nuclear power. Presenting...
A valuable element originating from the Yuicore homeworlds. Found in liquid form, Monogen has long been an item of worship for the people of Astrarysk. Through thousands of years of drinking from natural reserves, it is responsible for the Yuicore genetic enhancements. Although direct consumption leads to genetic power, continued exposure changes you on a psychological level. Combine the knowledge of warfare from the human race, and a steady supply of Monogen from the Yuicore rebels, and what do you get...?
So called for it's backpack-esque appearance and it's psychic capabilities, the Psipack offers so much to the everyday soldier. Different models offer different specializations, but the majority are capable of telepathic communication, the manipulation of objects from a distance and heightened senses. It all runs off of Monogen, and is designed to condition your brain and hardware your nerves. It's a difficult procedure, and is irreversible. Those who are outfitted with Psipacks become...
Operatives. They are the best we have to offer, capable of so much more. They give up their lives to the war, by allowing a Psipack to be fused with their nerves through the spinal column. Reversing a Psipack implant without causing permanent damage to the nervous system would require advanced bio-mechanical research we do not yet possess, but at least they have perfect posture, right? They can be found on the front lines of the battlefield, fighting in the thick of bloodshed and slaughtering the competition.

One might ask, "What if a Psipack is damaged? How would they repair it in the field?" That is why an Operative is paired with a Mechanic, who is specialized in the field of Monogen implementation and Psipack maintenance. Selected from the best of the normal soldiers, they are capable of holding their own alongside their paired Operative, and are an invaluable asset. Without the Mechanic, there can be no Operative.

I don't really know how to move on from concepts, so on top of an interest check, how should I move on from here? I do plan to elaborate on each of the concepts found in the spoiler, and clarify as needed.
