Challenge Phrase
Pushed Too Far

Atop the so-called Cursed Cliff of the Kelpies, the friends dared eachother to go closer and closer to the edge. Soon enough, they all stood peering over the edge when they were pushed from behind by an unknown assailant. They fell into the waters below, expecting not to survive, but lo and behold, when they opened their eyes, they found themselves in the lost city of Atlantis

Prophets, oracles, seers, people once revered for their wisdom and their predictions. Then they were hunted, forced into hiding. Emerging in modern day, they are captured by governments, and medicines are used on them to increase their powers. When they are pushed to far, what could these people of power do?

The boundries of science, expanding exponentually and mankind forever thirsts for knowledge and power. BUt one man. Dr. Isof Drogonov pushed it one step to far and doomed us all.

In the very last row, at the very back of the library, there's a book that, if pushed too far back into the shelve, it will reveal a hidden passageway. Where does the mysterious corridor lead to? Who built it and why?

A young man, repeatedly tries to deal with the attacks on his family. Every year, something happens that puts one of them into extreme danger. Yet, not a one of them want to confront the troublemakers. What happens when the young man gets pushed too far?

A rich man's game, one of cat and mouse. Unimaginable spoils to the victor. But will he push too far? What happens when greed beckons the mind to the edge of sanity?

Snapping minds,
Fractured glass,
Crashing ice and frozen hearts.

Pushed too far,
Pushed too hard,
Expected to be something they weren't.

Too cold,
Too hot,
Too much for them to take.

Responsibility is heavy on shoulders that have never borne it,
And saving the world too much to ask.
Perhaps that's why victims become villains,
And why good people are left behind.

It's always the quiet ones you have to watch out for..that's what my dad always said. Apparently no one told those boys that though, because I think they just pushed Jacob Mason over the edge....

"Get off of him," she said in a strangely flat voice, her face completely neutral.

The fae - leafy at the edges, humanoid but lacking all humanity - loomed over her downed partner, the redheaded boy laying face-down. The fae looked up at her with a curious expression, massive eyes blinking slowly as the air thickened with the weight of threat.

"Oh?" the fae cooed with a guttural timbre. "And what will you do if I don't?"

The fae leaned preciously soft lips towards the boy's neck, and a tentacle of white materialized to snap at the creature. It flew back in surprise, staring at the girl with a hiss. The tepid child, looking for all the world like a girl playing dress up in her uniform, had a steely look in her eyes that spoke volumes to the spine she had just acquired.

"There's more where that came from," she spat. "Now get off him."
