Hi, I'm PhoenixXeno.

I am an aspiring writer who is currently experimenting ideas and techniques with fanfictions (at least it's practice)

I am on another RP website but might have to move again seeing how I can't really seem to get into the RPs or have anyone show interest in my RPs. :/

I have been actively role playing since September (?) of 2012 when one of my ex-friends introduced her website to me and encouraged me to join. Then I got a few other friends to join and we ended up RP'ing during lunch hour. I just left that website almost a month ago because she was starting to ban a character that I role played as a few times before and I couldn't really RP for a while because of school. And then when I was on there and everyone else wasn't, I found out that she was talking about me behind my back and so I deleted that account and moved on. I guess it doesn't help that almost RP we've ever done we never finished because everyone got bored and went on to another one like it was nothing (that is a big pet peeve of mine for role playing).
So I'm hoping that I can find a permanent RP home where I don't have someone telling me who I can and cannot role play as.

So that's my sob story.

Don't get offended if I refuse to give out a ton of personal information (I'm kinda wary on the net).

I have a RP idea that I want to post, so I guess I should go put it up.

Welcome to the site pheonix, if you ever need a hand with the site or pointers on stuff to do feel free to shoot me a message.

Here's a couple of things I've found invaluable which you may or may not already know:

  • There's a little "watch thread" thing at the top right of threads, if the thread is important to you, you can hit it and get alerts any time someone posts there!
  • Iwaku uses BBcode, which is a really useful and cool way to add life to your posts. In the rich text editor(default), you don't need to worry about code craziness, but if you hit the "BBCode editor" button in the top right you get to see all the guts of your post style and can use cool techniques you might find around the site! (Note: some code; the "fieldset" tag for instance, is viewable in the rich text editor. trial and error is your friend in this matter.)
  • To view a post before you actually throw it up for all to see, hit "more options" for a more in depth post window, (don't worry, you'll be redirected back when you post,) then hit preview.

Welcome to Iwaku. We have a lot of really nice people on here, I'm sure you'll find a great role-play group somewhere. I myself have been keeping my eyes peeled for group ones that sound interesting, so if you have any ideas go ahead and shoot me a PM :)
