Pretty simple idea here really, this is an exercise to think about your character's pets! Rather it's a mythological setting with pegasi and talking serpents or a modern setting full of cats, dogs, and fish galore, your character probably has some pets (or at least opinions on them!).

In this exercise, the goal is to detail out what pets your character has/would have in a stage of their life, their experiences with pets, and/or their opinions on those who own various pets. Some questions to keep in mind when typing might be...

• Do they prefer a certain species or color of animal?
• How many pets would your character consider owning?
• Are there any allergies keeping them from getting a pet?
• Did they grow up with pets or have any notable memories surrounding them?
• Does this character believe owning pets is cruel or wrong?

• Do they prefer a certain species or color of animal?

"Do I prefer...? No, not really. As long as they look pretty~!"

• How many pets would your character consider owning?

"Ah, at the moment, I have three pets. I don't really plan on gaining anymore."

• Are there any allergies keeping them from getting a pet?

"I have serious allergies around Griffins, which sucks because they're beautiful creatures."

• Did they grow up with pets or have any notable memories surrounding them?

"Oh, yes! Load of pets were around as my siblings and I grew up. We practically raised a little farm, a new pet every week."

• Does this character believe owning pets is cruel or wrong?

"I don't think it's wrong or cruel to own them. It's the way that you treat them that matters to me."

• Do they prefer a certain species or color of animal?

Anything that's fit, healthy and can handle itself in a fight.

• How many pets would your character consider owning?

Probably only one. But would be open to more if a use rose up, or if he found a particular animal that he liked.

• Are there any allergies keeping them from getting a pet?

As long as he's in his Survival suit? No. But if he's out of the suit he's probably already dead anyways.

• Did they grow up with pets or have any notable memories surrounding them?

Not particularly. He grew up in a poor city where strays would have been a thing. But he would have never owned a pet.

• Does this character believe owning pets is cruel or wrong?

No. It's two creatures working together, there's no harm in that.
Though remember this guy has taken up Smuggling and Bounty Hunting for a living.
