Newcomer in to my family

Okay so I really need some advice on what to do with a issue in my house hold.

My mum recently became in to a same sex relationship and the partner is going over board on the house, with me and my lil sis eating " apparently to much food" and with other stuff and i am getting really sick of it and the partner won't even let my mum talk to me or do much house work.

My mum can see what effect that it has done on me and my lil sis bit I would like some other peoples advice on what to do.

Tell your mom about all this and have her talk to her partner about it? Tell your mom that her partner is completely unwilling to talk to you at all, which might be worth bringing to her attention?

Those seem like the most obvious answers. Communication is always key if you ask me.
