Hello, people of Iwaku. My name is Verin, and I've discovered this site through the venerable method of Google. I've been roleplaying for years, and have recently started to expand from MMOs to internet forums.

My preferred areas for roleplaying are sci-fi and fantasy settings, primarily the former. Mechas are definitely my favorite in that category, having grown up with the likes of Mechwarrior and recently getting my fix from Titanfall.

Looking forward to meeting everybody here, and hoping I'll be able to make a nice home for myself on the site.
 
Welcome to Iwaku, Verin! I did the opposite of you, lol. I started out with chat and forum rp, then delved into MMOs, hahah. Also, Mechwarrior ftw!
 
I can respect that. Every hero has their own beginning, but all can save the world.

In addition, Mechwarrior was my childhood. Grew up reading the books, and now I am happily hooked.
