Hello, I'm Duckie.
I joined this website on a friend's suggestion. I have been on other roleplay sites, but they have completely different formatting and stuff like that. My main concern is I have no idea where to start. I guess what I'm asking is where do I go from here? Are there a few roleplays that are good for beginners and are there any tricks of the trade I should know? I'm hoping that I will like this site, but how should I begin?

Welcome to Iwaku Duckie! Well, there are the Jump In roleplays that you could find a random journey with, sign ups (which are always located under the main title of the area. Example:

Sci-Fi Roleplays
Sign ups and plots

All you have to do is click and follow the directions on the member's sign up sheet, and wait for the post.) With jump in roleplays you don't have to fill anything in...you just jump in!

Welcome to Iwaku!

It may seem a little big at first, but once you get use to it it's super easy to RP at Iwaku.

If you have any questions just ask.

When I first read the title I thought it read "Dazed and Confused". Anyway, Wilkommen, Bienvenue, Welcome!

Yes.

Go to 'edit profile (or personal details) and you will find 'Preferances'. Click on that and you are good to go for editing.

No problem. If you need anything else, feel free to message me. Sanity not included.

Welcome ! Everyone is really friendly here so you can always ask for a hand if you're stuck :3

Welcome Duckie! That's an awesome duck too :D Anywho, as others may have already told you, RP request threads is a good start for an RP discussion. Another thing you can try is the Jump-In RPs in the forum since you can very much join in without any prior planning. Logic's links above are great resources for your RP needs :)
