Haruka Ichimaru is beginning her last year of High School-and has never been on a date. Her best friends Nanase and Shouko are both in loving relationships with other boys. And Haruka has yet to have her first kiss, first date, or even first dance. But this isn't something Haruka is worried about. For now, she'd much rather deal with her two sisters and sickly mother. But now that her entire school is planning a dance to commemorate their graduation, Haruka suddenly wants in on the action. The only thing standing in her way is also one of the most embarrassing things to admit: She always seems to be drawn to girls.

Other: Was almost beaten to death by her father when she was two. She is very shy and doesn't like to talk to people often, and she stutters when she is embarrassed. She is very secretive about the fact that she only likes girls and the only person who knows about it is Nanase. She also lives with her mother and sisters, all three girls are exactly three years apart. Haruka's father was put in jail for child abuse when Haruka had her accident. During the accident, Haruka's head was hit and she suffers from mild amnesia. She does not remember the event occurring yet she has a fear of males, which confuses her greatly. Her mother and older sister don't talk about the accident and Haruka's younger sister hadn't been born yet at the time.
