"Looks like it's time to tip the scales!" Robin cried out as he went to work, cutting into the skull of the first zombie who moved forward. Kicking the dead beast back into the mob to buy time and pull his blade out, Robin began to feel his body to become lighter. In his eyes, a few flower petal began to float down around, the signal that Ignis had activated. I need to protect my friends, I need to protect them all, traitors or not! He wasn't going to allow any manner of undead through unless one of the beasts killed him.

He took any extra mags from the unconscious soldier and peeked out, firing quick, precise bursts into guard's knees and/or hands if they seemed as though they were going to shoot him. The gun wasn't what he was used to, but it was a good weapon. Frank continued to push to the labs.
You get there easily enough, but you see that you're at a crossroads. One hall leads to the A Section of the Labs, while another leads to B.

Which do you choose?

@BarrenThin

Risa has suffered multiple stab wounds to her chest.

Connor has a single stab wound to his neck.

Both of them appear as if they had participated in a struggle, though Risa looks much worse.

A trail of blood leads from Risa's corpse and toward the heavy metal door...

"And so it continues on." Funny remarked looking over the two corpses. "Quite clever though, using a bladed weapon, very hard to trace and very hard to accuse, because who does not a have proficiency with say a knife in some form?"

His time in Vietnam had trained him to make splitsecond decisions. Frank began to carefully make his way towards the A section, gun still raised. Before entering the room, though, he checked the magazine. It was nearly empty. He dropped in and loaded a new one, then finally came in, scanning the room for threats.

@Atomyk

Grinning he tosses the bin at Yang "You deal with the ones he throws, catch em and they're not an issue" he keeps slashing throats, bringing the dead back to fight the horde for him

My power is still not what it usually is, but just because I'm weaker doesn't mean they're stronger, he thought, briefly popping his fairly bony knuckles, dashing forward.

Leaping into the air, Kotomine effortlessly delivered a spinning kick and shattering the skull of his target, along with whatever remained of the brain. Landing on his feet, the skilled priest quickly changed targets and thrust his hand forward, delivering a powerful palm smash into the next target's chest, hoping to destroy what remained of the heart, before proceeding to finish it off with a swift roundhouse kick to the temple.

Stay away from their mouths. That's what they want you to do...

"The ride never ends, does it?"

These zombies are dim and consistently slaughtered by Dlanor, Kotomine, and Robin's efforts. However, stranger zombies come out of the tank, these one sporting large boils--

"Ruby wouldn't want me going down without a fight," responded Yang as she continued to hack at the zombies that went straight for her. Then all of sudden the zombies were being thrown at them by the mutated zombie. The blonde dodged a few of the thrown zombies by rolling around and ducking. But, she soon was hit by a body that flew her way. She dropped her knife and was sent soaring across the hall, away from the others in her group and the other zombies.

She landed on the ground of the hall with the zombie close to her, crawling towards her with its teeth snapping at her, hoping to get a quick bite at her bare arms and legs. Before it was able to deliver a bite, she scrambled onto her feet and brought her foot down on its head.

"Hurry up, Natsu!"

"Don't waste time with the hearts! Just destroy the heads!" Robin called out as he followed behind Kotomine. One of the creatures trying met with an unfortunate end as Robin sliced through its head. Seems Ignis still as powerful as ever. Wasting no time, Robin jumped at another target and stabbed his blade into the beast's temple. Just die, you sick beasts!

Looking up, Robin saw the new breed of zombie coming for them. He growled as he brought up his blade, "Bring it, ugly."

Scientists are here, huddles around various equipment. In the middle of the room are three large tanks connected to one another. Two are glass and the one in the middle is metal. The metal one holds zombies, and the glass tank on the right is holding a group of people. They are fighting for their lives against a group of zombies.

Frank's expression darkened. They were still experimenting. He spoke calmly to the scientists. "Turn around and you're dead. I want those people let out of the tubes." He wasn't bluffing now. Anyone willing to do this deserved to die, in his book. He might shoot them even if the people were released.

They don't seem entirely concerned that you've all been let out of your prisons. Some of them hesitate and move on, but some recognize your obvious strength and get behind you. A few of the escapees begin attacking both scientist and zombie alike, some gone mad from the experiments and others just holding a grudge.

From the hallway bursts a new creature, this one's tongue lashing back and forth, stabbing at the living.

John found his shields, and gadgets back up and running after taking time to rest. The time in the room left him thinking back to the first time he met Cortana. They worked well together back then s if they were meant to be. The Spartan pulled her chip from its slot and looked upon its empty glow; soulless and as plain as Chief felt. His grip tightened around the chip as he began praying in his mind, only to be interrupted by the sudden ring of alert bells.

He leapt at the chance to see what was going on, watching chaos unfold outside as scientists suffered a major massacre. Some were devoured by what looked like the living dead, others by crazies and deformed creatures. One of exotic design with a body of muscle tissue and exposed flesh. At its feet, Chief saw an ID that he assumed was a clue, and if his guts were right then he needed it. However, the savage monster brewing outside would be more than reluctant to part with its position. Chief knew he'd have to kill it first, then bolt for a safer area to keep from the horde. But then that leaves behind the others in the room.. What to do with them..?

Shut up I am! *Natsu did his best to get close to the mutated. He punched a few zombies out of the way and ended up doing better than he thought. In the blink of an eye to Natsu he was in front of the big guy. His eyes widened as he launched a normal flame punch at his gut. He didn't have time to react as it jumped to Yang* Shit!! *luckily his back was to Natsu so he jumped at it with a fist raised* Fire dragon Iron fist!!

After a nod towards Robin, Urushihara joined the battle against the undead, using the power he had gotten from the subjects before. Putting his arms into an 'x' formation, he then threw them back to his sides, releasing bullets of magical energy at the zombies. The bullets then exploded on impact, exploding few of the creatures. Summoning his wings, he ripped out a feather, throwing it at one of the new kind. He also did the same 'x' formation move against the beast, trying to at least buy his group some time.

After awhile, Dlanor began to realize that she was losing some of that energy given by Erika's Red Truth, meaning that the detective had to come up with something. Maybe they should think on a different tactic as things were starting to seem like these zombies would only keep on coming.

"Lady Erika, I require more of your Truths to continue with the orders you had issued to me," Dlanor stated, seeing that if she continued to fight without the Red or Blue Truth, this sword would be of no more use.

"Hold on, I'm thinking here," Erika said with some frustration, trying to think of what else to say without running into a contradiction penalty or worse a Logic Error. At least the others were helping out with the whole zombie situation...but pretty soon Erika had to come up with something or else having Dlanor just stand around was wasting the usefulness of her assistant.

@anyone else in the zombie tank situation

"Wait, please!" One scientist cries, looking toward another. "We're just trying to find a cure! The entire world needs this!" They don't dare turn around, but they do raise their hands.

Frank placed a bullet in the back of the scientist who spoke's knee. "You'll do that without feeding them to these things." He calmly waited for them to open the containers without saying another word.

Many of the scientists have been saved by one of the other escapees, but others are not quite so forgiving. Either mad with revenge or insanity, most of the escapees are slaughtering whoever they can get their hands on.

But the strange monster is fighting back, swinging its tongue every which way. It turns its attention on Chief, its tongue snaking through the air, ready to stab at a moment's notice.

Chief's plans soon turned to action as he was suddenly the center of attention, his reflexes quickly kicking. He could engage the creature in hand-to-hand, but it was an unknown and time for chances were slim at the moment. He readied himself into a combat position, waiting it out with his eyes wide open to anticipate.
