✮Personality✮ Kayla is easily confused, and a bit air-headed at times, with a loving personality that harbour's no boundaries. Her motto is to "listen, don't judge and learn" making Kayla a wonderful person to share your worries with. However, the teenager refuses to give advice, in the fear that she could end up making things worse. Kayla is incredibly self-conscious to a fault, and is determined to hide the fact that she has OCD and Autism. Her lifestyle is moderately private: keeping to herself most of the time, whilst trudging her way through awkward social situations. She refuses to share her passion of blogging, and hides behind a screen-name online whenever expressing her emotions or opinions. Despite her self-conscious behaviors, Kayla is known to be bubbly most of the time, compassionate, earnest and the type of person to "live in the moment," when things turn out both bad and good. Her birth sign is Pisces, and her personality type is INFJ.

✮History✮ Kayla was born in Kauai, Hawaii, and raised by two wonderful fathers' who are her adoptive parents. She was born into the lifestyle of marine biology at a young age, (both her father's are marine biologists, studying Whales & Dolphins,) so most of Kayla's free time consisted of helping out her father's, and/or free diving, blogging and photography. She learned that she was a Selkie at age thirteen, and kept it a secret until she was accepted into Mountain Oak. Her first father, Christopher, took the truth well, while her other father, James, didn't take the truth well much at all. Kayla spent most of her youth alone: playing with the Dolphins at the marine rehabilitating center for company. She thrived in English at her old school, and was primarily ahead in most of her classes concerning English and literature. She was diagnosed with Autism and OCD at age ten.
