More realistic take on a ninja rp?

Forgive the briefness of this inquiry as I want to dip my toe into the water before diving in. Would anyone be interested in doing something more realistic than your average Naruto rp as far as ninjas go? I am talking about the ninjas of legends and of more mature works such as Basilisk and Tales of the Otori here, where death and betrayal shadows our characters and screaming out one technique while dressed in bright orange clothes get one dishonored and killed, not venerated.

I am not sure about how it would start, or what it would imply, but I want to try a deadlier, sneakier game with other like minded people. Please add your ideas and interest here if this strikes your fancy, thank you.
