Mecha Roleplay, anyone?

I am willing to know that I am planning on making a sci-fi role-play, revolving around in the real world. instead of going futuristic like flying spaceships and space explorations, this role-play revolves around a advanced humanoid bipedal exists in the weapon arsenal called the mecha. Since someone agree on supporting my idea while I am making on the role-play, I appreciated your help. :)

Yes, I am likely sure. (And also, I haven't heard Gundam in my life.)

Gundam is basically like Gundizer (Or Goldorak, which even variant name you prefer).

The only thing is that those Giant Mechas Mostly Focused on space. (And we gone nuclear, Humanity destroying weapons of doom with the name, Genesis. etc, etc.) and it's in a constant state of war.

A more game-y variant, would likely be Armored core. (At least Armored core does not go to space.)
