[ APPEARANCE DETAILS ]
Caligula stands at 5'5", and has an incredibly slender build. She doesn't have much raw physical power, but she's fast due to her long legs. Most of her muscles are lithe, and they allow her to be nimble and perform acrobatic feats that most others could never achieve. She's very thin, though, and appears weak to most others when they first encounter her. Caligula has ghostly pale skin. She's as white as a sheet. There is no warmth to her complexion, and she never flusters. She has no scarring on her form, due to how quickly her wounds heal.
Caligula has dainty hands with slender, dexterous fingers. She keeps her fingernails very neatly manicured, and they're always black. However, her hands change into an eerie, black skeletal form in battle, and her fingers turn into deadly claws. Caligula has hips that are somewhat on the wider side. But her legs are incredibly long, as well as elegant. She has strong legs, and she's a very good endurance runner. She isn't capable of lifting up heavy weights on her own, due to how weak her upper arm strength is. Caligula also has a medium-sized bust. But her magical powers and speed are godly.
Caligula has a large, sprawling tattoo on her back. It's the Grima mark, however, there's a straight line running down the middle, and the pupils of the eyes are triangular instead of circular. Caligula is ambidextrous. She is capable of using both hands. She also has a brisk gait. She walks really fast and even those who are taller than her at times need to rush to catch up to her. Her posture is almost always straight, and she holds her head high, chin at times tilted upwards at an immensely prideful angle. She never hunches over. When feeling particularly aggravated, she'll cross her arms. Most of the time, Caligula smells like roses, because she's pretty much always in the gardens whenever she has time off.
Caligula has a youthful face. She looks about sixteen or seventeen to most, with a delicate jawline and tiny facial features. Her eyes are usually narrowed, and they're a bright, vivid red. Her pupils are stark white. Caligula has long, luscious eyelashes. Her eyebrows are very thin and arching. Her hair is jet black, and it's straight. Her hair reached far below her waistline, ending at her knees, and she has choppy, somewhat irregular bangs that obscure her forehead and mostly her eyebrows. Caligula has huge, arching horns stemming from her skill.
These horns are black, and they're 1'7". Caligula has small, but relatively plump lips. They're also incredibly pale. but they have the very slightest tinge of pink to them. Caligula can most often be seen wearing stoic or calm expressions. But it's incredibly often that her lips curl into a smirk. It's very easy to displease or aggravate her. Many of her subordinates cause her to frown fairly often. Caligula is not someone who obscures her expressions. When she's aggravated, she makes sure everyone knows that she's aggravated.
Caligula also has a good sense of balance. She isn't easy to throw off balance because of how quick her reflexes are, making her even more of a formidable opponent. Caligula has pointed manakete-ears due to her bloodline.
● Clothing ●
Caligula has a habit of wearing mostly darker, scantier clothing. She wears mostly black, and covers the bare necessities, believing that armor will only hinder her speed and agility in battle. She tends to wear tight tops that only cover her bust, alongside very short trousers. If she's heading to a colder environment, she has a heavy cloak that she brings with her. Caligula isn't someone who takes an immense amount of time debating over what to wear. She only cares about looking presentable. Although if she's going to meet with an important ally, she will dress formally and in a more coordinated matter.
Caligula tends to wear light, knee-high boots with thigh-high stockings. Although she will ditch the stockings on especially hot days. Because she's spent so much time in Plegia, she'd admittedly not too accustomed to the cold. She doesn't own too many coats or heavy trousers. She doesn't own any thick boots either. She can also tend to underestimate the cold, causing her to go places under dressed for the weather.
Caligula doesn't wear jewelry or makeup like other Plegian nobles. She is almost always focused on combat, and disregards most luxuries. She believes most jewelry to be gaudy, and she's never been too focused on wardrobe anyways. She does harbor an affection for fashionable scarves and cloaks. She has a preference for darker-colored clothes, particularly because she finds brighter colors hard to look at, especially neon colors. And vividly-colored dyes are very expensive anyways. She can't wear hoods due to her horns. She does carry a small ring with the Grima mark on it. But she doesn't wear it. She usually will have pockets on her trousers.
[ PERSONAL INFORMATION ]
● Personality ●
Caligula is intellectual, however, she's immoral. She's manipulated and killed many innocents before. She believes that the ends justify the means, and she'll do whatever it takes to achieve her goals. She's not against friendly fire, and has killed numerous allies before in order to win a battle. Her strategies often involve sacrificing just the right amount of soldiers. However, at times she's not practical, and can let her emotions get ahead of her. She is prone to losing control on the battlefield, which can even result in the deaths of her allies. Caligula is willing to recklessly gamble at times. She has often placed herself and her forces at first, only because gambling makes her feel alive.
Yet, Caligula is very good at maintaining a poker face. She knows how to successfully bluff and get away with it. Caligula isn't overly demanding towards her subordinates. She does not pile expectations onto them, and is definitely aware that most of her subordinates are human. They can only handle so much pressure. She will also give her subordinates sick days off, and does not overwork them. Caligula's demeanor is charming, girlish and at times childish. She's actually incredibly sociable and knows how to get along with all different types of people.
She's witty and uses her intuitiveness to get ahead of others, outwitting and tricking them. She knows how to subtly manipulate other, and she's quite manipulative. She can twist her words and lies to others. She tends to not even value her own life very much. But she knows that she needs to be kind and decent towards her subordinates. Ultimately, she's bored, and that's what her goals center around. Despite being intellectual, she's a child at heart. After living for so long, she's grown incredibly bored. Using the power of Grima, and the First Dragon bloodline, she hopes to create a new and chaotic world she can amuse herself. and then die. She doesn't care how many people have to die.
Caligula is merciless when it comes to her opponents. She's not against torture and she delights in watching her enemies die on the battlefield. She has incredible physical and mental reflexes, causing her to be a deadly opponent. Inside, Caligula is a child that is desperate. She's desperate and angry over her past, and she's plagued by feelings of emptiness. She feels as though there is a void inside of her, and she'd tried everything to fill it. She's tried eating, filling her room with hordes of treasure... But nothing seems to work. She's not a very patient person, and can become aggressive when she's forced to wait too long for something. She's also committed to her goals and when she has her mind set on something, she doesn't give up. Her nature is incredibly persistent, but she knows when to take a breather.
Despite how aggressive she can be, she tends to take her anger outside of the palace walls. She doesn't torture her allies or servants. Rather, she tends to only take her feelings out on her enemies. But she can't bottle up her emotions. She's really bad at doing that, and can actually have fits that leave several rooms at a time destroyed. Caligula, when not impatient, is a good listener. She's often able to lend an ear to troubled allies, and will attempt to help them solve her problems, although her advice isn't always that good... or healthy. But she tries to have everyone in her army remain healthy all the time. She's attentive and responsible, and doesn't shirk even the most boring of responsibilities.
Caligula has thick skin. She doesn't get offended easily by jibes or jokes aimed at her. Despite how aggressive she can be, it's hard for someone to actually hit one of her nerves. She either gets aggressive at random, or she's forced to wait for something, or someone says something very specific to anger her. She's tolerant towards most jibes aimed at her personality. She is also quite organized. Her living spaces are tidy and she doesn't like clutter. She makes sure to keep every object in a specific place, mostly because she hates not being able to find her stuff.
Caligula can tend to slump into moodiness at random. During these times, she'll snap easier and she can become more unpredictable. Her changes in attitude are very quick and can be very volatile. Caligula isn't a predictable person in the slightest, which is why her enemies can have a hard time attacking her or formulating strategies around her behavior. She can completely change tactics, even during the middle of a battle. The way she trains her army to shift strategies so quick often baffles her opponents, and it can easily cause her to gain the upper hand in any struggle for power. Caligula is also incredibly loyal to her friends and allies. She makes sure to stick by them no matter what happens.
● Habits/Quirks ●
Tends to jiggle her leg whenever she begins to lose a game of poker, or when she becomes impatient or nervous.
She paces whenever she's worried about something or someone in particular. At times, if she's been kept awake at night by a worrying thought, she'll get up and pace around.
Talks in her sleep quite often. Mostly when she's having a really weird and/or random dream. She usually doesn't talk in her sleep if she's having a nightmare. When she has nightmares, she remains completely still and silent.

[ BIOGRAPHY ]
Caligula's story begins thousands of years ago, during the time of the Ancient Dragons. These godly creatures created the world, blessing it with nature, good fortunate, and creating humankind. The world rose from dust, and soon began to thrive. However, all went awry when the older of the the Ancient Dragons began to succumb to their primal instincts. Over time, their minds weakened, and they became dangerous and unstable.
Seeing that a tragedy was looming in the distance, two of the younger ancient dragons sent their child, who had recently been born, into the Outer Realms, alongside many human caretakers, where she would be safe from the war. As the Ancient Dragons began to wage war with each other, the child grew. Time in the Outer Realms flowed quicker than it did in the original world. Months past in the original world, and eighteen years past in the Outer Realms. The child grew into a beautiful and powerful princess, and she eventually fell in love with a human.
Eventually, she had a child. However, she did not get the opportunity to raise her daughter. Eventually, the draconic princess was called back to the original world, which was recovering after the war. Knowing that the original world would not be safe for a child, she left her daughter behind. Fauna, her daughter, grew up under the watchful eye of her father. A classic tomboy, she was known for hanging out with boys and rebelling against social norms, at times causing mischief and trouble here and there...
When Fauna turned eleven, the Outer Realm was invaded. During that invasion, she was taken from her father, who died from grievous injuries. From there, she was brought into the land of Plegia, during the war with Ylisse. Immediately, she was sent into slavery, bought by a rich noble who kept her in his cellar. Unspeakable things happened there... Two weeks after her capture, she turned into her draconic form, unable to contain herself.
The noble was killed, but she was not injured or executed. The king of Plegia took interest in her. As the war had just started, matters hadn't of grown terrible yet. Soon, Fauna was shoved into a caravan and brought to the Plegian palace, where she met with the king. Intrigued by the horns on her head, and her abilities, he ordered that she be treated as a noble, believing that she might be connected somehow to Grima. It was that day that the name Fauna cast away.
The king renamed her Caligula, after a past, Plegian ruler. Caligula was brought under the care of a stern nobleman who lived alone. Under his watchful eye, she was trained to be a fighter. She was taught swordplay, but she found herself within the ax. The nobleman quickly became a mentor figure to her, although they were never too emotionally close. He taught her about Plegian society, and how to live among the other, sneaky nobles.
However, she never got to use many of those skills. The war soon grew much worse. Eventually, she was forced to fight, her caretaker dying. Caligula escaped into the Plegian countryside, evading conflicts wherever she came across them. Eventually, the war ended. She had used her skills and her wit to stay alive.
But most of Plegia was destroyed. Disheartened by the damage, she stayed behind in a village near the border to help repair. However, she was soon recognized by a soldier that had been stationed as a guard in her old home, who had become a high-ranking general under Gangrel's rule. She was brought before Gangrel, and chose to join his fight against Ylisse. However, she never much cared for his side. Shortly after she was sent to attack a Ylissean settlement, she defected, and has been traveling ever since.
[ COMBAT AND ABILITIES ]
● Strengths ●
Caligula's main asset is her astounding amount of physical power. In battle, she's able to heave her ax around like it's nothing. Her ability to defeat enemies at close range was second to none back when she fought for Plegia, being able to cut down even heavily armored foes. Most often, she's put at the front lines of any fight because she usually does the most damage of any fighter. Of course, her dragon blood only made this task easier. In addition to her strength, she also has the ability to use Dragon Veins, like most members of the Hoshidan and Nohrian royal families. Using these Dragon Veins, she can shape certain areas and terrains to her advantage in the middle of battle.
● Weaknesses ●
Caligula's main weakness is her defense. While incredibly powerful, she is also frail, making her a glass cannon. During most battles, she has healers and knights stationed around her. Due to how frail she is, she needs to be very cautious when fighting. Additionally, her resistance against magical attacks is also quite poor. Caligula is easily vulnerable to archers and mages because they can hit her from a long ways away. Caligula does not have extensive attacking range due to her weapon of choice, axes. While she is able to evade a fair amount of attacks, if she gets hit several times with a physical or magical weapon, she can become heavily wounded and will need to retreat, or risk dying.
[ MISCELLANEOUS ]
● Facts ●
Her favorite gemstone is ruby. She used to have a large horde of rubies when she lived in Plegia. But alas, she did not take them with her when she left. She wishes to have more of them. But she knows that she would have nowhere to safely keep them.
She loves the color red. It's the color of her eyes. She enjoys the symbolism of the color red, believing it to be powerful and lucky.
Caligula will at times have nightmares about her past. However, she doesn't talk to anyone about these nightmares. She keeps them a secret, because she views them as an unfortunate weakness.
At times, she can't fall asleep at night. So, she tends to drink chamomile tea before she goes to bed.
● Goals ●
Caligula's ultimate goal is to settle down and live peacefully. She wishes to get far away from war and hatred, and she wants to isolated from humankind, where no one else can disturb her. Her dream is to live in a small cottage in a flowery field, close to the mountains. More than anything, she wishes to escape from human society and live on her own.
