To everyone else, the two lines on that fragile piece of plastic would have meant exactly what they were -- two thin lines. To Violet, they were life changing.

After finding out she was pregnant, she seemed hyperaware of her body. She felt like she could feel a hardening in her stomach, where the baby was growing, but as she was only a month and a half into her pregnancy she doubted it was really there. She was a lot more emotional, but as she was an actress she was able to pass that off as acting. She was hungry all the time, too.

Violet waited in the park for Vincent. She remembered the party, his skin, the entire experience. He had agreed to meet her, but she had no idea how the meeting would go down? How would he react to the news?

Vincent slumped over in one of the chairs, he was sitting in tiredly rubbing at his face with his hand and peering at the window it has been about 10 minutes since Violet had texted him about wanting to meet him later and he shuddered slightly a cold feeling spreading down his back and wrapping around him as if someone had dropped a couple ice cubes down his shirt. He could kind of guess of what she wanted to talk to him about, that she never wanted to see him again, that she was pregnant, that things had been totally been out of the blue and she wanted to talk it out.

He stood up stretching his arms above his head and slipped into a normal gray sweatshirt and pair of jeans, and pulled his hood over his head as he walked out the house, it was a about a block and half between his messed up apartment and the park and he blinked as he noticed her, rubbing his eyes with his hand. "Sorry it took me so long, Violet." he said smiling at her.
